A recent photo of Robert Pattinson dolled up as Edward Cullen on the set of New Moon in Vancouver has thrown quite a few people for a loop. In the picture, it looks like Robert Pattinson is pushing his hand through the fabric of his shirt! According to Amarie at Twilight Fixation, some of the theories tossed about so far are–
- It’s an optical illusion!
- he wind blew it around his hand! [but it looks like it's sewed on]
- it’s photoshopped!
- it’s a pocket with a hole!
Sounds like a case for Nancy Drew–or maybe our helpful readers can lend a helping hand? My thought–Robert Pattinson is a magician. Proof? I’ve seen him make thousands of people scream all at once. Abracadabra!

He lifted his arm to scratch his side and caught the shirt at the bottom hem.
If you follow the button holes, you see them curve and the corner of the shirt ends right at his wrist and with the wind blowing it seems as though it's actually sewn around his arm that way.

That 'sleeve' isn't in any of the other photos. This is a photo shop job. The top part of his are beneath the edge of the shirt isn't quite thick enough to properly match the lower part of the arm above the edge of the shirt also. It was fairly well done though.

The wind's blown it around his arm. It looks sewn on because its the sewing from the inside of the shirt. If you follow the in seam from the top of the shirt it continues to his hand.

I don't understand what's the big deal with it. It is obvious the wind blew and lifted his shirt and there's another picture of him walking to the car probably taken few seconds away and his shirt is ok.

That often happens when you wear your shirt unbuttoned, it happens to me always.

it can't be that the wind made the whole side of the shirt turn around his hand it doesn't seem right and if this were actually true, then why didn't he notice or feel that his shirt is circling his hand. if it happened to me i would fix my shirt because it would anoy me. i think it's photoshoped because if you look carefully at his hand where the shirt is turned around it you could see the false lines of contact between the shirt and the skin. but wtv rob looks great and i'm glad the edward look is back!

i think it was photoshopped because if you look at his arm on the outside it's slightly wider than the sleeve arm… but of course it could just be the jacket which is tighter… i know deffinately that its not a hole in the pocket because pockets are made that way… They have more of a slant and this seems like an actual jacket sleeve… It must be photoshopped.
you can see the hem of his shirt. the wind must have kept the sshirt from falling. his hand is holding it up and the shirt is at the right angle where it looks like its supposed to be a shirt sleeve.

Okay I like your theory that Rob is a magician…lol…but I really believe it's the wind…like Vikki said, you can see the hem, well the front left border of the shirt flows down around his arm (just perfectly, I might add, haha)…I think this is wonderful that we take even the smallest detail about Rob (in this case, even his shirt) and make such an escalated item of it…it just goes to show how much we ARE smitten with this wonderful being called Rob! Ok i know what happened if you look closley and study the picture you can tell it was photoshoped in because it lookes unatural from several angles also if it was not photoshoped the hand in the picture is totaly fake you can tell by the size of the hand also that if you look closley it is made of plastic and i don't know about you but i don't think Robert Pattinson's hand is made of plastic so there is the solve of the mystery hand and your Welcome Twilight Fans!!!

heyy robert, when i went to my friends house one day she said do you wont to watch twilight and i said no because i said it is to scary i dont like scary moives but any way after that play date i went home and did my stuff and went to sleep my brother woke me up tat day and said do you want to watch twilight and i said yes. so went went up and we watch it and i said it better not be to scary for me. then we watvched it i did not close my eyes one time olny when you and bella kissed. the rest of the movie went on and i said this is a amasing movie.
