It doesn't make sense though. I thought when Jacob arrived at Bella's school, in Eclipse, he had the short/shaggy hair rather than the long hair. Chris isn't directing Eclipse either so why would he do extra work for another direction? Especially if the Eclipse direction has different vision from Chris. I hope that made sense!

This is totally bogus. Think about it:

1-Like you said, we would have heard something about the script by now. What reason would they have to keep it hush hush if they were already filming Eclipse? That makes no sense.
2-As far as the Jacob/Bella/Rob filming in the parking lot, we don't know that all three of them were even filming the same scene. They could have shot a Bella/Edward scene and then a Jacob/Bella scene later, neither of which have anything to do with one another. Get what I mean? Just because the three of them were filming that day doesn't mean they were filming together. I find it hard to believe that no one thought of this yet (or maybe someone did but I didn't catch it.) Oh well. It's the magic of movie making.
3-As far as getting into character, I would imagine it'd be very hard for the actors to switch back and forth between the NM and EC storylines, especially for those who have the larger, more complex roles, like Kristen and Taylor. I really doubt a director would film two very distinct movies simultaneously because it would be incredibly taxing on everyone.

I agree with everything you said. I remember, Jake/Bella/Edward pics, there being food involved as well. Maybe they were just having a bite of food together. Because the pictures never showed Taylor actually filming with them. He was just there so who knows.

I have to agree. And last I heard Eclipse had a release date of July 2010. That could be a rumor too, but I am pretty sure the release date that I heard was in July of 2010.

They (Summit and the actors) have said that there will be an 8 week break between filming New Moon and Eclipse. Many of the actors (Nikki, Kristen, Kellan, and Peter) have other projects they are working on during the break. Summit has said that they will be doing casting calls for Eclipse after New Moon is done filming.

i am almost 100% that it is not true, go to mtv.com, there is an interview to Drew Barrymore where she say that they didn't pick her as the director for eclipse( as you know she was one of the choices). Of course none of us has any idea if this is true. Stephenie Meyer could write another 550 page book just about all the rumors flying around about these movies. From a budget stand point, it would make sense to me for them to film them together... you already have everything set up to film New Moon, why not save the resource it would take to rebuild all the sets and just film them together.

Those parking lot pictures that Lainey had (there is one where Bella is running from the truck). Is more than likely when they are in the truck going to take the bikes for the first ride. I mean you even SEE the bikes covered up in the back of the truck! And she sees ppl jumping off a cliff? Remember she freaks out and starts to run from the the truck? .. well thats my only explanation of those pictures. Have you guys thought about how maybe Eclipse would have been too long and they are adding some of it in New Moon. I mean it makes sense to me. And even though alot of things happen in New Moon, it is still pretty slow. And with all the action Eclipse has. Yeah, to me, it would make sense to fit some of Elipse into New moon.

Actually, after I read all of the books I told my friends that I thought they might combine parts of Eclipse into New Moon and parts of Breaking Dawn into Eclipse to get it all into 4 movies. They could get away with putting the first couple of chapters of Eclipse in New Moon just like they could put the wedding in Eclipse. It would be OK to do this if they stayed true to the story.

I hope they do, why would the movie come out a year later if they are already filming it. I think it should come out in the middle of the year....

Eh it's not true. Chris is not directing Eclipse so this whole story doesn't make much sense.

I can see where that assumption could be made. But I don't see the point in filming them simultaneously, and Summit not acknowledging that. Why not announce that? That would mean no search for a new director for the third, that there is more casting needed, as Riley and the other wolf pack members have not been cast. Also, the actors have stated they are not filming them back to back or simultaneously. It's possible they are filming a few scenes that will be in Eclipse, taking a break, and then coming back to finish in August. But I don't see how that would be the case if Weitz isn't the director of Eclipse.

As for that scene being filmed, I can think of two scenes it could be in New Moon. One, it could be the scene where Jacob brings Bella to a wolf meeting, to explain Victoria, and Paul, in anger, morphs so Jacob morphs to keep him away. Rob could be there because they're having Bella hear Edward (or in the case of the movie, he's a vision....or whatever they are doing) during that moment. Second, it could be the scene from the epilogue where Jacob brought Bella's bike to Charlie to get her grounded. Edward is in that scene, and Jacob gets upset at the end. While it's not said he morphs in wolf form, they could be ending that scene with him doing that and running off.

So, I can see where someone would think they are filming the two together, but I don't see why they'd do that without acknowledging that.

This is just hear-say. There was an interview with Kristen Stewart where she said that there was an 8 week break in between the filming of New Moon and Eclipse. Because that is when she was going to do the Runaways.

That's true. I mean really they do need a break, especially if they are lined up for other projects and like many are saying, Chris is not even directing Eclipse. And Taylor being on set that day could have been for another scene he was waiting to film. He prob was just hanging around and they happened to catch pics of him. They do have to be ready to film at anytime so he could have been there.

I just need to say something... How in the world would this Lainey person even know that Jacob was turning to a wolf at the end of a scene. I'm assuming his transformation would be done with CGI and they're would have to be an actual WOLF on hand to shoot the film of his after effect. Did anyone mention a live wolf at the scene? Anyone? Anyone? I didn't think so. I'm almost positive that the scene in question with the three of them (Belle, Jacob, and Edward) is at the very end with the argument about the bikes. Just another reason for us not to every listen to Lainey!!!!

And even in that scene, Jacob does not turn into a wolf. Jacob only transforms once in front of Bella and that is the scene with Paul and Jacob. When Jake confronts them and Bella spills the beans about her wanting to be a vampire, Jacob starts to lose it, but he does not transform. So yeah, I don't know how Lainey got that thrown in there.

I have no doubt that on those last pages of New Moon that Jacob is anrgy to no end and will change as soon as Bella walks off, so yes it's possible but I still think there's no way for anyone to know that, unless they're ON THE SET. I guess we'll just have to wait and see! :)

If he does change in the end, it will def be an add in for the movie because it is not in the book. Bella doesn't say anything and neither does the book allude that he does. It just says he watched them with a dark scowl on his bitter face and then it crumpled in pain and she said she knew it would hunt her until she seen him smile again. Def no transformations there.

That's what I was saying. That it's not in the book but it's pretty much assumed that he was so angry and hurt he ran off into the woods to go do his wolf thing.

I heard that that scene was just a forest scene between Jacob and Bella.
Why Robert/Edward was there:
Ashley Greene sed in an interveiw that we wud be seeing a lot more of Edward, and its beleived this is becoz wen bella heres haluusinations, it will have Rob/Edward as like a ghost type haluusination in the background telling her to stop being dangourous. So thats why rob could have been there. Maybee..... ?? Who Know. But it was sed in recent interveiw there will be more edward and i believe it is something to do with the haluusenations. (Cant spell that word sorry lol)

i agree.. I doubt that they will be filming both at the same time. But i do know that if eclipse really does come out in june/july, then they'll have to start filming pretty early, like mid-winter at the latest. As much as I am excited for eclipse to be made, in my point of view, june/july is a little too early for a release date. I'm scared they might just rush into things just to make it on time for the deadline, and they'll end up missing out all the important eclipse segments. I think the whole saga should be spaced out the same way... like all at least a year apart. That also gives the actors a chance to explore new movies and showcase their talent elsewhere. I know all the fans have no patience at this point, but I would give the cast/director all the time they need for a good preparation so that all movies are worth the wait in the end! =)

I'm worried that they're rushing stuff, too. But I think they don't want to have a Harry Potter issue on their hands. Harry Potter's lost a lot of interest because the movies were/are so spaced out and then here comes the next big fandom - Twilight. Maybe they're worried that waiting will lose interest to whatever the next big thing may be?

Well, it could very well just be a rumor. However, to be honest I wondered why they didn't plan to film them together anyway. No need to change directors between films, actors don't age, etc. It makes the most sense to film them together, but I don't see why they would hide it from the public if that's what they were actually doing. Keep in mind - Peter Jackson filmed all of the LOOR movies together - and it was awesome.

I don't care if they're filming them separately or together. As lonf as the movies are relatively close to the books. Besides, chris isnt the director for eclipse, so they shouldnt be filming for it anyways. Taylor was probably filming some scene that was added into New Moon in the screenplay. Like in Twilight, when they went on the school trip. It was an added scene, so maybe it's happening again in New Moon.

It probably is a rumor, but I agree with what Hanna said. Budget wise, filming some basic parts of Eclipse would make sense. They have the sets, they have the cast...they might as well use it and save some trouble.

But Chris won't be directing Eclipse. Every director has a bit of a different method. If they film scenes from Eclipse now, they probably won't fit with whatever the new director does. That would mean whatever they might shoot for Eclipse now would probably be reshot later when the new director starts.

I think someone also said it would be possible for them to throw some of Eclipse into New Moon just based on length issues. That's actually not too bad. Since we have no idea what exactly is in the New Moon script, it's pretty possible that they might play in some of the Eclipse basics. Except that probably means more New Moon things would be cut out than I'd like to see....

I don't think thats true, Kristen and someone else i can't remember who, but they said they get a 10wk break in between, b/c they said they wanted to work on something else in that time frame, so who knows. and aren't they supposed to be done like soon, like in a month or two, i know they go to italy next month, but after that like in june or something aren't they supposed to be done, if so then that means its only taken them like 3 or 4 months to shoot the film, which means they have a whole nother year till the next one is supposed to come out they would have plenty of time to have a break and then get into the next one.

There are only two scenes I can think of why Taylor, Kristen were together him being a wolf, Like everyone has said here the part where Paul get upset from bringing Bella to the meeting for the first time she sees them tranforms into a wolf. The second scene is at the end where Jacob ( Taylor) brings the bikes to Bella's house and he is standing in the woods with Bella ( Kristen ) & Edward (Robert) saying goodbye to her due to her being with Edward.

Now as far filming Eclipse Kristen, and Summit have both stated that they are going to take a 8 week break from filming the Twilight Saga, Kristen in interviews has sid this is due to filming, The Runaways or K-11 (I think that's the other movie, I'm not for sure ) But I do know that Chris is not filming Eclipse, they haven't even said who is going to direct Eclipse yet.

When it comes to Breaking Dawn, this is the movie that is going to have to be done like the Harry Potter book 7 done in two parts. Breaking Dawn is too long of a book to be put into a 2-3 hr movie there is way too much in there to be seen. Then you have to think about the other vampires they have to cast for. Whole big issue to think about is, How are they going to do Nessie!? I have read on IMDB.com t where they say Breaking Dawn wont come out until 2013. Then I read early 2011 . Who know what is true and not true. But I do know for sure they are taking an 8 week break after New Moon, too many of the cast have stated this.

Yeah, this doesnt make much sense to me either like, why in the world would they flim two movies at once? I mean the cast have enough to do as it is.

I dont understand why Summit keeps changing directors. I am glad that they got Chris because I believe he will do a way better job than Cathrine did, but why put filming so close together that you need to get another director to come in for Eclipse. Since this is a series of books the films need cohesion and with differing directing styles we are not going to get that. Plus, wouldnt it be a shame if Chris does an amazing job with New Moon and then its followed up by a not so great Eclipse? I know we want the releases to be close together, but this is rediculous!

Maybe there just filming certain scenes at once? who cares Im happy! Im grateful there doing any of the movies.

Exactly what i thought when it said taylor lautner was filming in a parking lot with kristen and rob. I was thinking that doesnt happen in new moon, that happens in eclipse. That's sounds awesome.

Well i watched an interview a few weeks ago with Kellan lutz & Ashley Greene for the movie The Warrior. They said that there is going to be a few months gap in between New moon & eclipse as some of the cast member's have other project's to work on.

I've heard the same thing. But they wouldn't be filming them simultaniously. I heard they were filming them back to back, as soon as they got back from Italy, go right back into pre-pro for Eclipse. They wouldn't film a single thing without Eclipse director present, which he isnt in Vang. But Eclipse isn't on the Production list yet either, so I dont know what thats about!

I'm trying to find the clip where they said it. I think it may have even been an interview with Kristen Stewart for Adventureland & they asked her about new moon & eclipse. not 100% sure.

That poster is wrong because the date that i read for Eclipse is june 30,2010. And also i don't think there also shooting shot's for Eclipse's either and plus chris weitz isn't directing this movie.

I actually had the chance to meet Peter Facinelli who told me he is just here for this week to film his scenes for New Moon and then he returns back to Vancouver in August for Eclipse. They are not filming simultaneously.

It doesn't sound right. I don't think they can film New Moon and Eclipse at the same. They filmed parts of the New Moon school scenes at my school. They spent 2 days there, so I don't think it would be possible to get both the schools scenes from New Moon and Eclipse done. Plus I haven't heard anyone from other schools saying anything about New Moon and Eclipse filming there.

I still remember hearing Robert or Kristen saying that once they finished filming New Moon, they would get a little break and come back for Eclipse.

I doubt they would do that. It would be like double work for the actors, and wouldn't they need more money than the budget for New Moon? I'm sure they need all the time they have to make one movie, so they probably don't have the extra time to make any additional scenes for Eclipse. Just a guess, though.

I thought eclipse was coming out in June? and also Kristen Stewart can't film the movie next spring because she is filiming 'the runaways' so it wouldn't suprise me if they do end up filming them together!! A good thing about that is, everyone will look relatively the same, which is good because the vamps shouldn't look like they have aged!!! But if they shove these 2 together then what will happen to the 4th movie(if they make it)? This isn't the first time I've heard this, filiming eclipse and new moon together.. its also not the first time that i've heard that eclipse comes out in june 2010. everyone else has made good points ^^^ jacob shouldn't have long hair etc. but maybe they havnt started eclipse yet!! anyway i'm going to assume the worst and say that they arent so i can (hopefully!!!) be pleasantly suprised!!!! :D

I was wonderin that too when I read that yesterday. if its true it will probably just be a couple scenes. but i don't know. that could b a good thing or a bad thing we have to wait and see.

maybe they added a scene to the begining of new moon like they did in twilight when jacob comes in in the begining istead of at the beach. and in the begining of new moon he has long hair.

That would be cool becuase then the Eclipse Movie would come out sooner ... either way as long as they make the Breaking Dawn one Im ok! I think it would be the best one of all!

it would explain why all of the cullens were still in BC. in new moon they all have a combined two scenes minus alice.

eclipse will be released june 30, 2010.. that's the reason why they are considering who would be directing the next twilight "franchise"..i read an article considering drew barrymore and juan antonio bayona, since chris weitz (new moon director) will be busy finishing and furnishing the movie for november 20, 2009..

yes, fellow avid fans of the twilight saga, we will no longer wait for another year to watch eclipse..it will be just like, what? 6 or 7 months ? from the release of new moon..

i must admit, im happy knowing that the third installment will be out soon just after the second one..though, it concerns me - how can they pull these things together with such little time for two movies? i just hope they will not compromise and mess up the movie..the books are really, really good and it deserves to be translated to movie in a really, really good, fantastic way..

I heard that after they finish filming "New Moon" they were going to take a small break then jump into filming "Eclipse". Nikki Reed also confirmed that, but I guess the schedule can change. To be honest, it doesn't seem that likely. I mean, Taylor has to practice reading, and what better area than a parking lot? lol

i think they should be released close together as they are not supposed to age and i was a huge harry potter fan untill i read twilight saga and now i cannot stop with twilight and the rest !! my irritation with harry potter is the lengh of time betwean books and films being released i knw they want to make as much money as poss but would it realy make a differnce ?

i think all of this was for new moon, they could have added a scene where jacob is at bella's school and the scene that has been seen filmed where jacob turns into a wolf at the end and both edward and bella are there is the scene by the woods where jacob and bella go to meet the rest of the wolf pack, and edward turns up in bella's mind to warn her. eclipse is strating filming in august this year...
sorry to upset fans but i think we'd have heard it officially by now lol xxx
