Suprise alot of first timers are reading the series after seeing the movie, alot of my co-workers fell in love with Twilight the Movie, now they want to get into the books. SO come New Moon, the fan base is going to be even bigger.

Wasn't Stephenie working on a ghost story called the Summer House, I say let her write some new material, when she is itching to write more Twilight, she will. Joseph you are entitled to your opinion and I was skeptic about Taylor and I was one of the few who did not care that he be replaced until I read how dedicated he became with the character of Jacob, he got the character, opposed to the Michael Capon who dared to call New Moon, Twilight 2?

Quantity doesn't mean Quality

Let me tell you how good her writing and the twilight series is to awaken the imagination, and how memorable they are.
I had left my Twilight book laying around the house and my hubby picked it up and started reading it, but he never did finish it; but then I got the Twilight DVD and as soon as he saw the first scenes he said "wait a minute, I think I already saw this before"
I was like no you did not, you think you did, you never went to the theatre to see it, and the dvd just came out today.
You think you saw it and remember these first scenes because you had begun to read the first book!
Needless to say he's too busy to finish reading all the books but I told him they are making a sequel, and in this sequel not only are there Vampires but also Werewolves he already signed himself up and is excited to go see New Moon with me this time.

I enjoy reading all her work, I am reading the host right now and its so good, and so Stephine.I seem to compare other authors to her style and it never compares. I hope to see more from her in the future.

I really wish she would continue with The Twilight series, she can go so much further with Renesmee and even the Volturi. There was never a real fight and Oh she could go so further. Its her decision of course, I just wonder why.

I've never bought books so fast in my life.
I bought Twilight to see what the hype was about and thinking I'll never even finish reading this one let alone the other super sized books,lol!
2 days later I was done with Twilight, went and got New Moon.
2 days later went back to store to get Eclipse.
2 days later I went back to the store and got Breaking Dawn.
2 days later I was crying because there was no more sequels left :( lol =p

OMG! I thought I was the only crazy one. I saw the movie first then read the books. I read all 4 in 3 days. I didn't sleep more than 4 hours I think, It was so difficult put them down!

that's exactly what i'm begging for, is there something we can do, like collect petitions or something, :( , she got me suffering jajajaj....

No petitions please. She has said in interviews that she won't do it if this happens. She doesnt want to hear the name for at least 2 years.

I have a friend who is a children's/young adult author. She was in a peer editing group with Stephenie for several years. I have it on good authority that Midnight Sun is done but isn't being published because of all of the hype over the other books. Patience ladies . . . patience. She wasn't serious when she made the 2 year comment . . .it's kind of out of her hands right now (publishers and all).

I will say that I'd like to see her do more with the series. She has the potential to go so many directions with the other characters (Jasper's story, Carlisle's life before Edward, Renesmee and Jacob, even the Cullen's in the years after the Volturi visit). Hopefully we will have years more of reading material to come!

Tweter76 you made my day! I'm hope its true that we finally get to read MS. I personally can wait for the Cullen story after Renesmee and I rather have Stephenie do NM from other POVs, mainly Edwards of course! I would love to see an Alice POV or Jaspers POV. That would just blow my mind!

Yeah I'd love her to go down that root, especially with Reneesme, there is so many avenues to go down with that.

Above when you asked about how Taylor ended up being talked about. Some numpty was bashing him and calling him ignorant and a bad actor and saying he didn't deserve the role. Silly but he pee'd me off and then continued to tell me I was in love with him, gah...I think I've had it today. In the other blog as well apparently I'm in love with Edward as well, Lol

Love the series, but...I'm not ever going to be completely satisifed until I read the Series from Edwards POV, Please finish asap!!

you are entitled to your opinion. However, lets keep in mind the producers, casting directors, etc knows how to do their jobs, hence, that's why they do it...so just let them do what they do. Also, Taylor EARNED is stay in the role of Jacob, and I'm sure that he had to convince them with more than just muscle. He's a young talent, and yes he is eager (but thats ok) I'm sure he can handle the role and whether you or anyone else thing otherwise, it doesnt matter, HE IS JACOB BLACK..take it or leave it, no one is forcing you to accept it, your choice...always your choice.

This Are Great Books The movies Have to be Great too And The Guy the is Playing Jacob Black in the 1st movie is too little and have a baby face in the book he chg to a man not to a Wannabe man just because he got 30 pounds of muscles he will still not be as big (6ft or taller ) a Jacob Black and from all the times i have seeing the kid on TV he look like Hungry for Attention and Talks a Lot IT will have been better if some one ells will have play Jacob he is to ignorant and bad Actor

Exactly who do you have in mind that is actually 6 feet 7 inches tall?!
Do you know it's 2009 and just about EVERY movie out there uses CGI to enhance actors and scenes?!

Nobody who was auditioning for this part worked harder, and played this part better as far as Chris Weitz and Catherine Hardwicke are concerned than Taylor to deserve this part, and all the while doing so quite gracefully without the childish antics others were resorting to.
As for the rest of the cast members in this movie, they greatly disagree with you!

At the risk of repeating what -everyone- was saying for MONTHS, I'll spell this out for Joseph. Taylor has worked his @$$ off for this role & has proven to millions of fans (who weren't even Team Jacob fans to begin with) that he IS the only candidate to play Jacob. He is passionate about the character to a point that is unmatched. His persona even parallels Jacob's. As for all his "talking" in public, its his JOB to publicly endorse the character & the movie. He is FAR from ignorant unlike Michael Copon & even farther from arrogant. He keeps it professional & is very supportive of the fans. Michael Copon didn't read the books nor even care to...Cliff notes? Really? I think he needs to learn to read (Hooked on Phonics).

Anyway, no one in the original cast meets the physical stature of the characters as far as the books are concerned, its not a big deal. This is what "movie magic", CGI & make up are for (anyone see the pics of Robert Downey Jr, wearing heels/lifts on set of Iron Man 2? lol!). The only people capable of meeting Jacob's physical stature are basketball players & I'm sorry, but I am not impressed w/the acting "skills" of athletes. Crawl back under your rock Joseph, you're irritating too many 'boobsticles' (Stephenie's included haha)!
