even though i love edward, i love jacob too. all the people that hate him, i really dont see ur point. the first time i read through the books i guess i didnt like jake that much either but then when i read through the books again i realized i do love jacob too, its bella who i hate. not only does she have two guys that love her insanely, she kept hurting both of them throughout eclipse and the beginning of breaking dawn.

I really am gettin tired of all the teen "Team Edward" fans dissin' Taylor and Jacob.
There would be no other books besides "Twilight", if it wasn't for Jacob!! The love triangle is the most important part of the next three movies and Taylor is going to do great!
He is looking great and has a wonderful attitude. He even appreciates the fans who dis Jacob.

It is so cool that all of the cast care about each other so much, and I am sure Rob is praying that some of the spotlight is shifted to Taylor. Rob wants to have some of his life back. We need to let him have it back.

It is O.K. to love the books and the movies, but we need to quit thinking that Edward and Rob are the same person, because they are not.

Tweens, please remember that in Breaking Dawn, Bella trusts Jacob with her most precious posession and Edward calls Jacob "my brother, my son". They become FAMILY and Bella and Jacob will always love each other, just as Edward and Bella will, just in a different way.

No one is being disloyal to Edward (or Rob) by loving Jacob (Taylor), too. If Bella is Team Switzerland, we should all be!

No one is trying to get Taylor to steal the spotlight from Rob, there's more than enough spotlight for everyone. The fact of the matter is more to do w/the fact that they all admire how very hard Taylor has worked & how very serious & passionate he is about the role. The fact that even in the midst of all that Michael Copon bs, he stayed professional & didn't sink to a new low by trash talking, only adds to that.

This isn't some petty 13 year old "Who's Hottest!" contest. These are adult professionals making these statements. Considering all the interviews Nikki, Ashley, Edi, Rachel, etc have done (during the Copon rumors)--making countless comments on the basis of how impressed they were w/how hard Taylor worked & his devotion to the character--should pretty much make that clear. It's like he can't be seen by just himself because, well, no one else is there with him. You get him a few times where it's just him, but not often. He tends to need other cast members with him.

He also has to self-promote from what I've heard. I guess every time he signs an autograph he always writes "Team Jacob." This chick said she wasn't Team Jacob but just wanted Taylor's autograph.

I think both Taylor and Edi are the cat's meow! They are both awesome guys. Taylor is so down to earth and Edi seems so sweet. Love them both. I wish nothing but the best for their futures in the acting world. They certainly have major potential and the most refreshing thing is that they both are so unaffected by this sudden rocket ride to fame. I only wish more Hollywood types were like them. I have never doubted his acting abilities i think he is a very talented young man but I’m curious about his height. In New Moon he radically grows into a beast (literally) and he towers over Edward. i can see what some of you guys are trying to say about rob being more popular.. well of course he will be hes "edward"! but i dont really think hes that amazing in real life, he a little weird but i guess thats just him haha i like taylor a lot more he seems really grounded and i love his outgoing personality!

Hey you know what Emily, I agree with you! Between the two, I find Taylor fit for stardom. He wants it and badly works on it, which is a good thing. Rob, on the other hand (and RobLovers pls don't mistake me, I am a Rob fan through and through) - he sort of wants some of his old life back... something like "Oh shoot! There goes my privacy" thing. Because he cannot be 100% "consumable" so to speak. He wants to play music and be by himself maybe half the time. Whereas Taylor - he loves the limelight and is eager to please everyone.

Though I'm sure taylor would love the limelight, I don't think that wanting stardom is what is required for becoming a star or makes you more fit for stardom. How many very talented and renowned stars are very dedicated to their art, their job and passion, but hate the promotion they're obliged to do, hate the lack of privacy that comes with popularity? I'm pretty sure all the side effects like constantly being in the public eye is something most famous stars would eagerly trade. In my opinion, staying humble, working hard, protecting their private life, staying the same person you were, being talented, being VERY tough to go through all the crap that will inevitably be thrown at them is what makes someone fit for stardom durably. Not the wish of becoming a star and loving the limelight.

And to be clear, I'm not putting Taylor down when I'm saying that, I just disagree with Taylor being more fit for stardom because he loves the limelight and Robert doesn't. And I agree Taylor did work hard to get the part, I'm sure he'll be doing great and will deserve the limelight because of his dedication. Now though I think Robert has the same dedication. lol Robert does seem a little weird in interviews. Sometimes awkward, shy, uncomfortable, reserved, a little lost, or whatever. But I actually find that cute, like I feel sorry for him when he looks so uncomfortable in the spotlight. He still sounds like a nice guy. Taylor is much more comfortable in public, self-assured, more outgoing indeed. But it doesn't make anything to me, Taylor doesn't make me go 'aww, cute' but just 'he's good at talking in public'. I find Taylor too much self-assured, other fans will find Robert too shy/weird. Some people are just more into shy guys, other into extrovert guys. Doesn't mean one is better than the other though. I'm sure they're both very nice guys. To each their owns lol

As far as popularity is concerned, Robert will have his fair share of fame and hold the spotlight, no matter how big Jacob screentime is and how popular Taylor becomes and in the meantime, Taylor will be in the limelight too, taking some of the burden that comes with it off Robert's shoulders. Ancha85 you are my soul mate, And we should take a lesson from the cast, how come they can get along and we the fans keep fighting over every stupid little thing like this Rob and Taylor who is more popular, I don't give three flying monkies, everyone in here is important. Adriana, I am so glad there are Twilight fans on the same wavelength! I am a twiightmom and there it is so much easier to read the blogs and comments there, because everyone is civil.

This Rob vs. Taylor thing is mostly a teen thing, I believe. All the trash talkin', too. Us more level headed ladies gotta' keep posting here though, or everyone will think all Twilight fans are crazy and jealous and competitive. We gotta' show the cast we love them all. Yes, Edward is important and gorgeous, but every character in the series is important. Especially the famous love triangle of Edward/Bella/Jacob.

I don't really appreciate that, seeing as I am a teenager and I like to believe that I am not a ditzy Edward fangirl. Though I do agree with nearly every point made, I'm quite sick of twilightmoms implying that they are the only fans with a brain.

Seems to me that all generations are just as crazy as each other. I like to think I'm pretty level-headed, and I think most people that post here are lovely people who like to share opinions, and are by no means 'crazy, jealous or competitive' more than half of the time.

You said it really well; this Taylor vs. Rob thing is a teen or younger thing. Mature people know that these are actors portraying the characters from the book. It’s not a competition, they are actors, and when this is over they will move on to some other role and engross themselves into those characters. Why can’t we love both actors, I didn’t say the characters, the actors? Why must it always be if I like Taylor I can’t like Rob, or if I like Rob I can’t like Taylor? You can like both actors! Let’s say you like one more then the other that’s okay too, but you don’t have to trash the other person. This is make believe it’s not real, it’s a movie.

I think Rob n Taylor has their own beauty. Rob are more british hottie n taylor are complex. n I think taylor deserve those praises because he tried so hard to still have the jacob part by buffing his body and the result are very good. 4 u that never watch access to hollywood video when taylor show his body, watch it because u can see the progress of his body.

When I saw who was cast for Jacob, I immediately began supporting him. I've always been a Team Jacober, so I can proudly say I haven't jumped on the bandwagon :D I too can't stand people who do this- 'floppers', as you say 9good word XD). Same with when Rob became some giant obsession that everyone just HAD to be apart of- I feel so bad for the poor guy. I'm one of the rare Team Jacobers- I have nothing against Edward, I just for some unbeknown reason like Jacob better. (Is yet to figure this out).

Ok all I have to say iz that TEAM EDWARD iz the best he is carring,honest,and very romantic how can someone not like him he's perfect in every way.
