I personally hate Selena gomez and think she has no business being famous. yeah. i am a highschooler, and my mom is a good parent. she's a teacher, so i've learned to have alot of respect for adults these days. some of the kids in my school tell teachers to eff off and all this really offensive stuff only when the teacher tells them to pull up their baggy jeans or get to class on time!!! it's so horrible because i feel like my generation is such a dissappointment except for like small group of people. and i'm not some weirdo girl who is a suck up or teachers pet; teachers like me cuz i have respect for others and i know my place. other kids don't seem to really get that at all, and it is the parents, cuz when my mom calls her student's parents to tell them about a grade or something, they try to get my mom fired for not givving thier kid an A. its like "they have to EARN the grade. idiot!!" lol

My dad wasn't a cop, but a football coach who also taught at our school so we got away with nothing lol. I do feel you about the kids today. My daughter is in middle school and we are more strict than most parents in some ways, especiallly language and behavioral ways. But, she's well rounded, and gets freedoms as she grows older. It is a balancing act but it is scary because some of these kids introduce her to things I really don't want to have to go into yet lol. Luckily she talks to me so I try to talk to her as honestly about things as I can. Here is hoping I'm doing it right lol.

I know what you mean. My parents were pretty strict with my sister and I. My sister is a good girl but we talk about EVERYTHING! So pretty much whatever her friends say and do, I hear. Which is sad, because I'm scared for my sister, but honestly I don't know what's gotten into these kids anymore!

I totally agree with you Deedee! I think it is really pathetic that people sit around and make fun of selena or whatever it is they are doing because they might have a mad obsession with taylor. Both of them are normal people just like all of us, and they deserve to have the chance to be seen in public together without being critiqued. I am so happy for both of them if they are dating and even if they aren't they look like they are enjoying each others company. Good for them!

I think that Hilary has emerged from the "disney" spotlight and has become a successful and very well-behaved actress/entrepreneur in hollywood. There is always good things said about her and you dont find "nawty" pics of her on the internet. She's a good role model and just a wholesome girl.

Yes some of them can be annoying and try to act older than they are. But for most of them Disney was their step in the door, Just like Hilary Duff, or Justin Timberlake for that matter.
