it's not exactly the same..

the left side of the house, that thing that comes out (idk how to call it) is smaller and there's a side door with stairs on the left.. plus the driveway was different..

but i like this version better, since it looks more like i imagines it XD

and there's this build-out on the right side of the house, which isn't there in the original one, but that's hair-splitting on the small details.. XP

oh yea i see the diff. in the driveway and that side pop out thingy thats stairs now you guys are better at this than me it took me like 6 times to see jacobs tattoo. i guess im gettin old at 17 lol =)))

yeah it is diffrent
they have a drive way that goes in ground in this photo
it wasnt like that in the movie
also the walkway goes to the driveway in the twilight movie
but i like this house better neways.

The house looks great but the entry way to the house, like the pavement, seems different. There was more space in the first movie or so I thought..maybe I just need to look over it again. Also the garage door and steps were white , not green, weren't they?

Bravo Chris and movie crew! That looks exactly like the house in Twilight. I can easily over look the change in color. I would rather have a small change in color than a totally different house.

It gives me such a good feeling about this movie, that they go to so much effort to match the sets of Twilight. I can't wait to see pics from the Cullen house though, I can't imagine how they have found anything to match that.

And i agree about the fake trees..you can usually tell but maybe as long as they dont REALLY zoooooooom in too much then it will be okay...

but the house looks good, i wouldnt be able to tell the difference! We will just have to wait to see the inside...

Hello chum! They are real tress on those little stands, you know the things we use to put real Christmas trees into. I hope I'm right anyway. The base can be filled with water that keeps them fresh and alive looking.

the driveway is all wrong, it never sloped down into the garage, it was pretty much level, or maybe a little sloped up

DAMN! That is seriously impressive, last time we saw it, it was just a shell on an empty lot! You'd never know that was a set build. WAY COOL!!! Now, let's see the Cullen house!!!

looks like the same, but why didn't they go back and used the original house instead of wasting the money there to rebuild it.. duh! the same with the high school.. well.. apparently they got enough money so now they blow it for stupid non-efficient stuff.

This could actually be cheaper if you consider all the costs of moving the production crew to another country. They would have to fly everyone out, pay to move the filiming equiptment ect. I am sure they are still watching their budget because eventhough it almost doubled, they still have alot of increased costs with this movie.

It isn't a proper house that they built, its a set, they will probably film the inside scenes in a studio. So it works out cheaper, than having to pay the people that own the house to move out etc and also they aren't filming in portland so they can't use the house anyway.

I think they did a pretty good job. It looks almost exactly like the one in Twilight. This movie is looking good so far ^_^

It looks identical! Wonderful, wonderful. I'm so happy they have consistency. OK...so now I just want to know about the Cullen house. Are they rebuilding a set-like-one for their house? Are they re-building it from scratch like they did for Bella's? Are they going to travel to Oregon to use the same one again? Or are they using a complete different house?

im really not feeling the new house. it looks alot smaller, and new? the origional house created a nice warm vibe. i just dont like this new house. i think they are making a huge mistake by not filming at the original house.

It looks really close to the same house in Twilight... I am happy.... I think they are filming in Vancover this time cause they had too many issues with the weather in Oregon (rain, hail and shine all in one day) and I believe it is also cheaper to make movies in Canada than the US so even though it would have cost them more to build the house from scratch overall they would be saving money which means more $$ for special effects =)

Humm...wonder if they will use this house when they start filming Eclipse, because from previous post on other discussions aren't they taking a 2 month break and then filming again, and also from a previous post on another discussion, doesnt' Harrison Ford's new movie have Washington State all tied up till the end of the year.

Umm does anybody know where this et is? I was told it's in Crescent Beach area, and that they are using it for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn... :)
