Vancouver Sun Reports on Restaurant the Cast Enjoys

The Glowbal Grill & Satay Bar, a restaurant in Yaletown, has become a popular spot for the New Moon cast, the Vancouver Sun is reporting–

A tipster notified The Vancouver Sun Wednesday night of the star’s recent appearance, and a manager — who declined to give his name — confirmed that the Twilight cast frequent the swanky eatery “two or three times a week.”

The manager added that he didn’t want to scare the cast away and refused to provide any more information.

Is that some sort of Möbius strip of a rumor the manager is trying to pull? Uhhh…..I’m just throwing this out there, but I have a feeling that broadcasting to the local newspaper that the cast frequents Glowbal “two or three times a week” will do plenty to scare them away.

Ugh well that's one way to put you biz on the map - exploit your famous patrons. I doubt any of the cast will return but theyeatery will probably have mobs of horny tweens hanging around outside. What normal person would want to walk through that for dinner? He may have heard his name echo but in the end I bet it will be bad for business.

i agree with everyone I mean ti's bad enough they can't walk down the street without getting mobbed by fangirl stalkers and now they won't even be able to enjoy a meal ugh ppl make me sick...I swear everyone is trying to cash in on the whole Twilight thing even restaurants...makes me friggin sick.

Yeah, I do not think they'll be back to that place. Basically expose the place they enjoy without screaming fans or disturbing them on their days off. Even if the actors wouldn't mind, its still nice or hear them having alone time to themselves.

But then again, its not like the Twilight Actors knows about their own twilight gossip . Unless other people checks it for them and update them .. haha!

But if I live around that place, I would so be waiting for them outside !

Glowbal is so pretentious and expensive! The twi-twinks that go there to stalk him wont even be able to afford dinner on their little allowances so basically it will just be a bunch of screaming tweens bothing the patrons. Bad form, baaaad form!

It's already printed in the Vancouver Sun--the largest newspaper in BC--and
that audience is exclusively people that live near the restaurant. My
visitiors are from all over the world, and the small bit that live near
Vancouver don't hold a candle to the number that will find out about it from
the local newspaper.

I love how they call Robert Pattinson a "teen heartthrob". They're forgetting the all the 30-something+ single and married ladies that enjoy seeing him on the screen and enjoy the books. A friend of mine told me the other day that a Vancouver friend of hers bumped into him in the hotel gym...said he was very pleasant and as expected, handsome as ever.

That was probably the plan to begin with. I would think claiming to have the cast in your restaurant would boost sales regardless. There's too many stalkers not to at least go check it out, true or not!!
