Wolf-dogs are intellegent and do often train better than some other dogs. It is impressive that he taught her to growl on command. I have a wolf-dog myself (half black timber wolf and half husky) and she is absolutely the sweetest dog I've ever had. Truly some of the best animals.

yeah, true, they should make a "Snarling Saturday"- like mini auditions for the wolf pack's growls...

I know someone who has a wolf hybrid. Sweetest little bugar I've ever met. He is huge though. And the puppy is cute :) He hasn't shown any aggression. I would love to have pets like wolfs and lions. I want to own a zoo :) I love wild animals.

haha my bf showed me a video a few days ago with this same dog, just a different dog. I got all excited and told him, "Look hunny, they posted the video you showed me on my Twilight site!" hahah The video he showed me shows the "wolf" growling like crazy and the trainer hugs and kisses him while he does it. Scary stuff!

That's awesome training skills!! They should get really good trained dogs like the first on for New Moon!!

Check out the beautiful white Artic wolves at www.whitewolfsanctuary.com in Oregon. Even though none of the New Moon wolves are described as white wolves - these are gorgeous animals. Wish they could show them in the movie.

I like how they say the wolves wouldnt hurt anyone... but if they say they've trained them to growl.. how do they know when theyre not playing around?!?! That would not be my choice of pet... no thanks.

I know this post is late in the game. I was just browsing through the wolf pack stuff and saw the videos. Totally understand your concern about wolf-dogs possibly hurting someone. As with an large dog though, not just wolves and wolf-dogs, it is a possibility. People just have to do their homework thouroughly before getting a wolf-dog. I have a wolf-dog myself and the only thing she even growls at are other dogs. She's the sweetest.

there is a lady that comes into the pet grooming salon that i work at with a full grown full blood wolf and it is sweeter and better behaved that most of the small lil dogs.
