Hey, I'm new to posting, but have been following the site and all things Twilight and New Moon for some time. I do also like these wolf pup friday pics. They are adorable. I have two wolf-dogs of my own. They are A LOT of work to take care of. I wish I could post pics of them.

My females name is Gray Socks and she's half black timber wolf (I've seen her dad), and her mom was husky. Gray Socks is all black with gray on her face and her legs (hence her name). She is the sweetest and is very gentle with my kids.
The other is a 3 month old male named Oz and he is 97.75% wolf and 2.25% german shepherd. We got him from a friend who had bought him but couldn't take care of him. He still has a great deal to learn and I'm working with him.
And then we have our white and black german shepherd named Juno who is like big brother to the others.
They do howl, but only when they hear ambulance/police/fire sirens. And Juno is the one who starts it. It's really beautiful to hear my own pack howling.

Hey, I just checked out your page(awesome background!) to see your dogs, but could only see the Dogster pics of Gray Socks and Juno. They are beautiful animals! I'm sure Oz is probably a handful right now and it'll take alot of time and patience until he's 'learned'. It's good to know there are people out there who are so willing to actually take the time to properly train their pets. *high five to you*! It's funny that Juno is the one to start the howling! Big brother indeed! =)

Oz is a handful and such a pig! He thinks he has to eat like 5x's a day! Which he doesn't. Just trying to teach him patience right now, like taking food nicely and not trying to steal the others food. It is a lot of work.
But yeah, it is funny when they howl. I'll try to get a video.

And I have to say your Oz sounds alot like my other half! He also thinks he has to eat 5x's a day and likes to steal my food! Do you train fiance's too??? LOL

Yeah, that happens occasionaly with our shepherd. He's a white shepherd with a black saddleback, so his hair actually isn't bad at all. But they truly are the best dogs aren't they?

BTW everybody: I do so enjoy Robert Pattinson too! He's awesome!

well... since we can't fully domesticate the wolves and werewolves don't exist, we have to enjoy what mother nature provided us with :D

So true, so true. Tell you what, if I ever won the lottery (wishful thinking, I know) I would so start a wolf sanctuary since there is one in Oklahoma where I live. They are wonderful creatures.
But yeah, wolf-dogs aren't for everyone. People have to have time to work with them everyday and A LOT of patience. The 3 month old I have right now is very sweet, but such a hard head! He's needing to learn that he isn't always going to get his way. But he is a good pup.

I meant IS NOT one in Oklahoma. I so can't type correctly today :P

The first time I read that, I thought it said one week until New Moon comes out. I was like WTH?! I thought wolf puppies looked more like doggie puppies. It looks like Jake.

Ah I needed this cutie wolfie today...I just got bad news about my stepdad who's cancer has spread more than we think :-( and no Twilght blue-ray disc to cheer me up came today either...so I needed this lil cutie to cheer me up some.

So now I can smile again and be optimistic about my stepdad's health again, he's a fighter so I got good hopes still :-).

Hey Mary, I know just what you mean, this week we discovered that my mom has troat cancer, and this page cheers me up, so everything you can do to make your life happier, just doit, and trust that everything will eventually work out. if you need anything just let me know, we twilighters stand togheter

Good wishes to you and your family. I just recently lost a long-time friend to leukemia. She had a short life, only thirteen. Just hope and try to get all the support you can, it really helps. I am upset to hear about this, be strong and grateful to what you have today. He is going to make it throught this. We, as Twilight lovers, will give you support 100%.

Thanks, I am very sorry to hear about your friend though and sorry you got upset. yeah cancer is a scary thing. I do however think it is important to be strong and positive to show support to the loved ones who are ill. They need all the encouragement they can get.

I'm sorry to hear about your stepdad. Stay strong. I lost my mom to Cancer, she died the day after christmas in 2004 to lung cancer. By the time we found out about her cancer she was already in the 4th stage. I totally believe in natural herbs and juices over chemo and radiation any day. I prayers are with you.

I am sorry to hear about your loss too though. I think the best way to battle any illness is to keep positive no matter what. My real dad died to cancer in 1994. Although he gave up the fight poor guy. I am grateful he didn't have to suffer too long though. But my stepdad is a stubborn guy and he will NOT give up so yep I will stay strong :-).

Sorry to hear. I'll say a prayer for you and your family. Keep thinking positive. :)
