Ashley Greene Vancouver

Ashley Greene left Vancouver yesterday, and Lainey has the Punkd pics, as well as some new info on what they’re shooting on the set of New Moon–

Today is Pattinson’s final day on the set of New Moon barring any crazy cataclysmic setback. They’ve had to postpone these scenes due to weather, now must rush him through the shoot to get him out on schedule. It’s supposed to be a beautiful day in Vancouver today. Which is perfect because – get ready for it Twi-hards – today they are shooting in the Meadow.

It’s a dreamy sequence. In the Meadow, Bella sees herself get old, looks like her grandma. And Edward wishes grandma happy birthday. Then they’re young together and lying in the field and looking at each other and it’s pretty.

[thanks everyone that sent this in]

Access Hollywood interviews New Moon star Nikki Reed on New Moon–she says they go back August 17th to begin Eclipse! She also talks about going to Italy despite not being in the Italian scenes. MTV has an interview as well, and Nikki says of the birthday scene–

“[There isn't] that much [blood], believe it or not,” she said. “Unless they plan on adding stuff in on post [production]. But I think that’s the whole point is that we don’t need a massive amount of blood to get feisty.”

With “New Moon” underway, plans are already being made for its follow-up, “Eclipse,” and Reed has already had talks with its director, David Slade. “I met with him while I was there [on set],” she said. “I think he’s going to be fantastic. Each film is going to get better and better. We’ve all figured out our characters and we’re all just excited. We’re making a fun series.”

In other news, she’s told E Online! that maybe she should be looking for a new job:

“It’s really nice to work with your friends,” she said at T-Mobile’s Sidekick LX launch party last night. “When I left and I was done, I said to Kristen [Stewart], ‘I guess I should go back to L.A. and look for a new job and have a life.’ “

[Thanks, Monica!]

200905150955.jpgCheck out this pic of a fan who had her wrist tattooed with the autograph of Robert Pattinson. Would you go this far to show your dedication to Robert Pattinson, or do you find it a bit too much?

What do you think of Twilight tattoos in general?

200905150953.jpg Deadbolt has an article exploring some of the legends among Native American tribes that relate to the Quileute lore of shapeshifters/werewolves found in the tribe of New Moon–

Although the Quileute tribe is said to be descended from wolves, there are a variety of Native North American tribes that have similar folklore in their rich lineage. The Navajo tribe (also known as the Navajo nation), the largest tribe in the United States, has a legend that is almost akin to the werewolf clan in the Twilight Saga. The Navajo version of the werewolf originates from the “Skinwalker” who actually attains the power to shape-shift. But in order to acquire the “evil” abilities of these shape-shifters, tribe members, as the legend goes, must kill a family member. On the other hand, the Quileute legend is much less gruesome as a Skinwalker is said to have encountered a wolf and then transformed it into a human being, thus the legend’s origins.

Check out the article at the Deadbolt.
