Get New Moon Tickets

ET had a segment on New Moon tonight, covering the newly released 15 second teaser from the upcoming trailer as well as seating arrangements for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. Luckily, the folks over at TwilightForever captured the footage. Nothing much new, but a good recap of the last couple of days in New Moon mania.

200905291153.jpg Check out this amazing set journal from the New Moon shoot in Italy by Camilla . Not only is the journal an intriguing look at the process of two days of filming in Montepulciano Italy, but Camilla’s writing style really takes you straight into the scene–SPOILERS

And so this morning I see everything. I now understand how they are doing this scene. It is not like a festival, it is really a religious procession to honor St Marcus. All the 1300 participants will follow the canopied Saint-vanquishing -the -vampire statue till the Cathedral entrance. All the faithful have red mantles, and the historical personages in the procession are dressed in red too. There is plenty of banners and religious symbols and props carried around. Impressive. The Director tells the extras that they have to focus on the Cathedral, not looking at the fountain at all, they must look ecstatic and wave small red flags. When Bella enters the square they must not make it easy for her, she has to struggle, poor girl. I cannot see her though, too many red mantles.

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke gave MTV a tour of her home and her Twilight memorabilia, now she’s explaining on video why the kiss between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in Twilight deserves to win the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss on Sunday. I think we can all agree on that assessment!

RadarOnline also takes a look at the kiss, comparing it to Zac Efron’s effort from High School Musical 3:

When it comes to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s forbidden vampire-on-human kiss, Demirjian was impressed. “I looked at this one a few times, cuz I was like, ‘whoa!’” she laughed. “The kiss was so sexy, just the way their lips were grazing against each other—it wasn’t deep-throat tongue kissing.” Part of the appeal of this silver-screen kiss is the tension, Demirjian said, which gave the eventual smooch “all the perfect makings of suspense and anticipation. And that makes a kiss more desirous.”

video-spoiler-italy.jpg Earlier this week pictures surfaced of the shirtless Robert Pattinson kiss scene filmed in Montepulciano, Italy for New Moon, and now video has surfaced if you really want to see it. The video’s not of the highest quality, but the audio alone is a bit spinetingly. You can check out the video at Radar Online.

Catherine Hardwicke MTV movie awards 2009 Twilight

Before New Moon, there was Twilight. And before New Moon director Chris Weitz, there was Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke. Given that her film is up for so many trophies this weekend at the MTV Movie Awards, MTV chats to her and notes–

She has the original script and the first “Twilight” book she bought, complete with all her notes and alternate lines for Edward’s “Hold on tight, spider monkey.” (Robert chose that one after reading 10 alternative lines that Catherine wrote the night before, including “Wrap your legs around me and hold on tight, spider monkey” and “Fasten your seatbelt, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.”)

Check out the rest of Tim Kash’s visit with Catherine at the MTV Newsroom.
