That's hilarious!!! I think the romance in "Twilight" was not enough. A lot of people will say I'm really wrong, and they had great chemistry, etc... but I don't think so. The movie needed little stuff, like him just holding her hand, or brushing her her hair back from her face while they were talking...

I think there were some very beautiful eye shots that added romance, but overall, I think the script was a bit sparse. We'll see how the second one goes.

I'm glad that there is more romance to it. But in the book, she is hesitant the entire time she reunites with Edward in Italy. Because she still does not know that he really still loves her, and she is still under the impression that he just feels guilty about her jumping of the cliff. That's what makes the bedroom scene after Italy so special, because when the kiss then, Bella knows that he loves her, and that they both know, they cannot live without the other... oh well, it's just one little scene, I'm sure I'll live through them kissing. :)

I went and seen another movie last night which was also based on a book that I read. You know... I was very happy with the outcome; which of course, pissed me off even more at SM and MR... The movie I seen was not a disgrace to the book at all; all the important scenes were in there... I never felt cheated from the experience. Does Stephanie Meyer have that little to say about how the script is written or does she not care about portraying the books as they were written?? I dunno... After reading the possible elimination of the proposal scene and knowing that we won't get to see the "talk" as it was written in her book really brings back the let down that was felt after watching Twilight. Don't get me wrong the movie was good but it could've been sooo much better!! I think when NM finally comes out, I'll go see it on a Tuesday.. Spend my $4.25 and decide if it worthy of a full priced ticket.. Half hearted concessioning by SM is creating the murmur of problems and dissatisfaction you read on other sites.. As well as this one.. I won't leave another negative note... It simply not worth it to me...

I know, I feel the same. It's a shame Twilight wasn't better. I don't want it remade or anything, (like some others)... I'm not that upset about it. We'll just have to hope they improve with the next movies.

i was actually wishing they didnt kiss till when they got back to her room..that scene is so powerful..i wanted to see it on screen the same..thats what the end of New Moon is about, when she was hesitant about his love & so she didnt want him to kiss her but when he did she knew..i love that part of the book..im sad we wont see it the same..

don't hate me, but i don't really want them to kiss when they meet. in the book, it says something like "he kissed me on my hair, my cheek, etc., but never on my lips, and this was good, because how many ways can a heart be mangled and still expected to keep beating?" or something like that. i love that part- amazing writing- and i think that it is really metaphorical. i think them kissing would make this seem like a small little break up that's not a big deal, but it is.
