So Chris I finished the first sookie book, love love love them! Read that all in one day and lost valuable sleeping hours but I couldn't put it down. Very raunchy if I do say so, I needed to hose myself down at some parts LMAO

I knew you would love it!! I must warn you that the raunchy scenes only get worse, or better (depeding on how you look at it), as the books continue on. I stayed up way past my bedtime last night to finish book 9. It was way darker than I expected but effing great, and I'm bummed the next book wont be out for another year or so!! Now I can go back and re-read them slow and absorb anything I missed in my excitement to get through them.

I love her characters and I love how screwed up everyone is! Just wait until you see what else is lurking out there in the woods!! That's all I say because I definitely don't want to ruin anything for you.

I read on one of the Sookie sites that Channel 4 UK bought the TV series and it will air later this year in your neck of the woods. The DVDs come out on 5/19 over here but I don't know about over there. :(

The show is called True Blood and I have seen the first season...OH MY!! Its ummmm, very sexy to put it midly.

It's totally bizzare too, which I love. It doesn't really follow the books that closely but it definitely stays with the wild and wierd theme. Season two starts on HBO 6/14 and I'm more then ready!

Bizzare is the perfect word to describe it. I am hoping that Quinn will make an appearance this next season...I cannot wait to see who will play the part.
