Robert Pattinson Cannes LaineyGossip has a fantastic new blog entry up from her friend Laura, a huge Robert Pattinson fan. In it, she describes in minute detail the experience of being in the presence of Rob–

I look up to see him walking in, in his fitted tux, no tie, a couple of buttons on his shirt undone, looking absolutely delicious. He’s walking like he’s on a runway, a far cry from his usual “please don’t look at me” gait with slumped shoulders and a ducked head. Methinks that every once in a while, Mr. Pattinson enjoys kicking the wardrobe up a notch – and I’m not complaining.

I should probably explain that I’m a fan. A very enthusiastic RPattz fan. While Lainey swears that outwardly I remained cool, I felt my heart rate triple at that moment. And suddenly I was wide awake. He took a seat at a table opposite us, giving me a close and unrestricted view of him and, to quote Lainey, sending my loins into quiveration mode.

So did I shamelessly ogle him for the next two hours? You bet your sweet ass I did!

    I was reading it as if I was reading a book or something... great description of emotions, you really feel as if you were actually looking at him

    i think she was lucky to see him just the way he is, something you cannot get from watching movies or interviews and what in my opinion is much more precious; to meet him like this, just being Rob Pattinson not Edward Cullen, not surrounded by insanely screaming fans, being able to relax, to put his thoughts together, for me, would be an unforgettable experience as well

    I loved that fan encounter, especially the pay by pay of what happened. It made me feel as if I was really there. I loved it!!!

    lol She cracks me up! I give props for not being all scream in his face invading personal space fan! However, I would of shamed her if she wouldn't of totally drooled in an undeniable stare for the whole time. lol How and any girl with hormons not!

    I like her version of an, almost, Rob encounter, much better than laineys sniping remarks about our hero. It's good that she was able to control herself and observe him when he was relaxed and not expecting to be pounced on and that her observation is that he is a very ok person. I don't know how she could walk out when he was still there though. It made me laugh when she said about him swearing in a sexy British accent, I don't get that though because he speaks like me, although Rob has got a posher accent than my northern one. My friend keeps saying he is probably a dick and when I say he always comes across well in interviews she just says he plays up for the cameras, I'm gonna show her this and say I was rignt. Although not loving the chain smoking thing.

    hey cool article and Larua and Laniey wer so lucky. ye smoingg isn't cool and rob should stop, but at the same it doesn't make him look worse or anything. but rob is a ncie guy overall who ahs an edge like many of us. I am a devot christian use the F bomb osmetimes. i jsut try not to say God or Jesus's name in vain

    She is one lucky woman. I wouldnt have been able to stop staring yet alone leave before him. Robert Pattinson is just gorgeous i wish it had been me there. Some people really do get all the luck :(

Lets see...Rob likes smoking, drinking, diet pepsi, tons of coffee, and hot pockets....aside from the hot pockets (I don't eat processed foods),...(smoking and drinking are just great but don't make me eat anything w/ preservatives or additives) yeah I realize that's completely nonsensical...but then I never said I made sense....get to the point LOL....he likes the same things I do!!!! And he drops the "F" bomb in polite conversation lol.....I love it....I have to mentally edit all my posts otherwise every 3rd word would be f---! Could he just stop being so friggin attractive to me.....I know there's other things I SHOULD be doing with my time.....oh well I give up

    I think evanescence - My inmortal fits so perfectly.... but i won't like it to be in the movie 'cause that song was already very famous at some point and... sorry, it will ruin the thing for me... it's a great song that fits very well... but i would like to hear some songs not as famous... so we can relate them to the movie as we did in Twilight (what a perfect soundtrack!).


    I said this in the other post but... i think that Sing For Absolution - Muse... fits perfectly with the "run across the crowd" scene... especially the middle part with the guitar... it's a beautiful song, and i think is part of the playlist that Stephenie said she would like for New Moon.

    I am pretty sure if I was that close to him, there would have been tables and people flying in my frantic attempt to get over to him. He would have nowhere to hide. I would be on him like white on rice!! If he struggles, I will just club him over the head and drag his limp body back to my room - he will come to his senses eventually. LMAO

But then in reality especially if you are not surrounded by craxy screaming fans, you would be star strucked rather than attack them! lol! then you will just be contented staring at them if they are not looking at you.
