  • charlottelovesrobert(:
    2010 ugh too long
luckily im going over to england around novermber/early decemberish time so i can watch it then ;D
oooh & the german release date is 2 days after my birthday - i think i have my party organised already(:
  • Lea

  • Miene
    soooo unfair :(

how should i wait untill JANUARY ? MOAAAAAA ;(
  • Nina
    @ neev i looove finland :)

its just because you "only" get subtitles in finland... in germany the whole film is translated... ve already thought about flying to finland or norway or england or whatever.... just to see that film =) we'll see ;) i definetly will do something ^^
  • neev
That's weird that you get it that late in germany!
I live in Finland and here release date is on 20 November, even if we had to wait Twilight for so long.. so you would easily think that it could have gone same way same now, but luckily it DIDN'T!!!
And when you compare Finland and Germany on general bases you would preasume that it could be the other way round..
  • Bailey
I just moved to Italy Last year and I just saw things on the set last week!!!
  • jackson__rathbone <33
´my sister and me live in germany and we're very very very sad that we have to wait till january OMG!!!! can't wait! we're so exciting and the MTV movie awards --> want to look at some scenes
  • I.heart.vampires.
I'll probably watch them too. Though the MTV movie awards are at 3 am (IN THE MORNING). I'm glad there's no school the next day ;)
  • Green_Twilight
Wow thats sucks, I'm bummed that the UK have to wait just a week longer
  • belini
Hey Everybody, this poster is a good view of what we will see.
And yes, it's hard that we need to wait so long till next year
(I'm coming from Germany by the Way..^^) but i am very exiting
how Chris Weitz, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Co doing
there Job in this Movie. The Books are brilliant and i think that it could
be a good Movie, if the Script is good. We will see and the American
should be happy that they don't need to wait so long :D.
Okay then, have a good Start in the new Week and Bye Bye. :)
  • Candy220491
I can´t wait so long until we will see the film in the cinemas in Germany. In Germany there is a proverb: "The joy before is the best joy!" I really don´t know if you can understand it because I don´t know if such a proverb exists in America or Great Britain and so on. I´m happy that this homepage exists because my English becomes better! *laugh* If someone want to write with me he or she can do it. I will be happy.
    Here is my e-mail-adress: sweety220491@aol.com
I wish a nice day. bye bye
  • Nina
yay! german wings rocks ;) 12 € to london!!!
  • 6 € with ryanair ^^
  • then would I fly with German Wings ;)
  • hey
    i'm from Germany too -_-

sometimes it would seem that the german media is ignoring everything twilight....it really sucks! :((

they released "twilight" in january 2009 so we're slowly gettin used to this...
i flew to London to see it...well that sounds kinda weird but the flight tickets are very cheap^^ :)
  • combat
I understand you completely! I´m considering the same thing now. It´s just in sake of my sanity. :D
  • kelly
we have to wait 2 month more
  • i feel bad that they have to wait sooo long :(
  • Tawariel
Just a little correction: it's "Biss" and not "Bizz"
"Bis" means "until" and "Biss" means "bite". It's supposed to be a clever pun.
  • Maud
it's biSS zur mittagsstunde, 'Biss' means 'bite' but Bis means 'until' it's like ambiguous :D
  • Legato
Don't worry ... the few weeks between the releases will be worth it. The German dub of Twilight was straight out great - so will be the new one.

Just in case anyone wonders ... "Bis zur Mittagsstunde" means "Until noon", while "Biss zur Mittagsstunde" means "Bite at noon". For some reason they didn't release the Books with the original title in first place. They were released as

"Biss zur Morgenstunde" (as explained above...morning)
    "Biss zur Mittagsstunde" (...noon)
    "Biss zum Abendrot" (...afterglow/sunset)
"Biss zum Ende der Nacht" (...the end of the night)

Later, after the release of the Twilight movie, another publisher released the german versions under the original, english titles you're all familiar with.
  • Amy
I live in Germany, too. And it's horrible, Think about it - it's NEXT year >.<
I hope that they didn't change too much in the movie, because the book was fabulous!
  • marie
omg why is everyone freaking out?? it's just 7 weeks... i can wait that long..
the moment it comes out in the u.s., u can watch it everywhere on the internet, which is, what everyone is gonna do.. ^^
the german synchronisation sucks anyway... the english is much much better.. and all german twihards, who can't speak english that well.. we all know the book by heart.. (:
  • Du hast vollkommen recht.
You are right... But it is a big difference to see it on a small screen and to see it on a bid screen. I live in Austria (not Australia ;-)) and here we must wait a day more.... Hihihi
  • marie
    austria=best country in the world <3 ^^
  • Jessica
    yes, it sucks!
I live in Germany and I can't wait!
    I will live in America!
    :(
  • Maxine
How are they going to live til January? :O
  • JoannaP
Hey Im from Poland, I have read that polish premiere supposed to be the same day German one, but Polish producer paid more money and apparently we have the premiere the same day its in US :D
    So happy days yaaaaay
  • combat
as good as it sounds it is impossible.

But I´m sure that the day before the premiere every impatient fan in Poland wil have seen it ,somehow. Polish girls know what I mean, right?
  • em.
How did you know about that?
  • agava [04/09]
    Hope you're right :)

    Pzdr
  • sandra
I live in Germany.. and YES it sucks.
  • mella
I'm form Germany and here in Frankfurt there is a cinema which shows the "original" version of all movies, which means that you can watch new moon there in english and it is released the same date as it is released in the usa. well, at least twilight was released the same day... so if you have an english cinema in your city, you can watch the original version earlier.
I did that with twilight, because this english cinema is cheaper andyou can watch the original version without these strange german voices :D they were really bad in twilight and the translation for "you brought a snack" was awful...
  • Nat_Cullen
Really??? That's sounds fantastic. I've got the same question like cookie... Is there a website for this cinema or something like this?
  • mella
Just a few people understand it and I write so much, typically me... :D SORRY!
  • Nat_Cullen
Super! :-) Ich werd mal schaun gehen. Toll wäre es ja... vorallem da ich den Film sowieso auf englisch sehen will.. erstens wegen den Stimmen und zweitens wegen der manchmal doch recht gewöhnungsbedürftigen Synchro... ich sag nur "You brought a snack..." LOL :)
    Danke mella! :-)
  • cookie
Wo ist das denn genau oder gibts da ne website zu? wäre toll einfach nach frankfurt zu fahren und nicht nach england oder sonst wo hin:D
  • agava [04/09]
Hmm i'm from Poland and haven't found any NM release date yet, buti it will probably be close to that... "twilight" was released here on January 9th this year, almost 2 months after the world premiere....

    That is so not fair...
  • TeamTwilightSaga
I'm not from Germany, but from Austria, so the release date will be pretty much the same....
so you (the one who are living in the us or canada) are really lucky...you don't have to wait ssssoooooo long...
I don't think it's a very good thing to synchroniese every movie here in Austria... but hey what shall we do...
so I'm sitting here waiting for january to come :D
  • Deborah :)
In the Czech Republic it's in English with Czech subtitles, so not that bad. :)
  • cookie
hate livin in germany for this thing-.-

they take so much time synchronising... that would be ok...
but when you watch the film you just think wtf?! they use those strange voices, all the feeling of watching the movie goes away, when you have to laugh about the voices-.-
especially at the meadow, we were all laughing when he said 'and so the lion fell in love with the lamb'... edward has such a deep, strange voice... i really really like robert's voice in the englisch version...

i don't have the chance to go to england or the us, so i'll end up depressed, watching it on youtube, even if i hate watching such a wonderful film illegally
  • Deborah :)
    Hey There :)

I'm also from Germany and unhappy about the date for the release in Germany. But there are other possibilities, too. Last Year Twilight startet only 3 days later like the official start in the US in the Czech Republic. You have also the possibility to go to the Netherlands and watch it there on the big screen.

I live near munich so I got a compensation for the damn Date. I could talk to Kristen, Robert and Catherine and got autographs.

Did I read right and one of the comments here says, that the cast is coming to the premiere here in Germany? Where is this info from?

I'm really sry for my bad english :) Hope everyone understands ^^
  • Nina
i like the idea of going to th u.s. .. ;) or canada :)))
  • Jenny from Germany
    Hi...
    Thanks for condolences :D
    I'm from Germany, too.

I can't understand why it should takesuch a long time to translate/dub the movie, the HarryPotter's where published (I mean in cinemas) atthesametime likein US, UK etc... Think it wolud be better when it was like this.

I'd like to see it earlyier, but i wanna see it in a legal way or not choped up on youtube or somehing likethat... But it's very expensive (and somehow stupid (not to go to USA, just to fly because the movie...)) ;). I have to wait (or to win a lot of money :D )
  • em.
I'm so sad, because in Poland will be later :(
  • It's such a shame that we have to wait til January x(
  • combat
it´s always funny how the Germans translate the titles. I just dont know why they had to add this Bis(s) wordplay. Bis is the same as till (you know till something) Biss is a bite. So it´s always like will she survive or will she be bitten. Its just so nonsubtle.

Hey I´m from Poland, I don´t even know when the premiere is suppouse to be!Will propably be after the German premiere. And no star is comming. It´s just so unfair.
  • name_me
I feel sorry for the germans and lucky at the same time cuz the cast will go to their country for the premier...
  • name_me
Are they gonna have a premiere night here in Australia with the casts?!?!
  • TheLionFellIn<3W/Ceci-ROBECI
OME!! Till Jan of next year?? I'm so sorry for you Germans... really sorry... and here I thought we had to wait FOREVER until November of this year... haha... oh man that sucks!!!
  • Aw, I feel bad that they have to wait so long :(
I'd probably go crazy and end up watching it illegally online.

I find it funny that it says 'die' Twilight saga.
    Hahah.
  • Nina
yay... this or go to the netherlands... or even to england ;)
  • cutesweetiezzz
Wow, I'm so sorry for the German fans. January. January. Wow. I'll probably die from the suspense and won't allow myself to go on the computer for 3 months. Good luck to the German fans.
  • bookobsessed
OK I'm feeling really bad for German Twihards right now....If you want to fly to the US to see it in November I 'll put you up and you can see it with me......*looks around for significant*........I'm sure he won't mind...:)
  • erin
I feel bad that they have to wait until 2010. i am now greatful thar i live in Los Angeles
  • bina209
dang that hecka sucks!!! jus waiting till November is killin me
  • krissi
    hello,
I´m from Germany too and it´s so damn. I´ll see it at Youtube in English, because i can´t wait longer and I´m so nervous.
    good work Nina;)
  • Nina
    hello there..

yap it really sucks that we have to wait till january... i hate that. but i guess my english is good enough to understand the movie in english so i will watch it in the netherlands... i think the movie will be published in december there.. still quite long... but earlier than in gemany...
i cant understand that synchronising takes such a long time... AWFUL!!!!

wanted to tell that "die", i mean the german "die" which is pronounced like dee just means "the" ;) so dont be afraid ;)

quite good about the translation thing is that the german "bis" means until but "biss" means bite ;) "Bis zum Morgengrauen" means Until Twilight... while you could translate "Biss zum Morgengrauen" like Bite For Twilight.. not sure if i can translate it like that, but i hope you understand :)

    so long..
  • combat
Morgengrauen meens dawn. So it´s like will she survive the period between Twilight and Dawn or will she be bitten. The title for New Moon tells Bis(s) zum Mittagstunde (Mittagsstunde- Noon). So....u know, will she save him, will she save herself until Noon.
To me it seems like so kinky. I don´t like it ,at all.
  • Nina
    aah yes...dawn! outch!!!
  • SandraW
besser hätte man es nicht ausdrücken können :-))
  • HA, thank God i live in the US!

SO with LIMITED pictures.... I'v created the Motorcycle scene.... sorry this is the best Pics i found

    Poster # 5 - Motorcycle scene, HALLUCINATION

    http://i39.tinypic.com/2cdfwx3.png
  • ROB'S MA KINDA MAN!
Does it take alot of time to create those? I suppose if you know what your doing it wouldn't take too long huh! But still awesome work:)
  • what takes most of my time is looking for the right pic, and if i find a pic i like but its not in the right color or arrangement, for example: Jacob riding the motorcycle, in the orginal pic he's wearing a brown sweater, & a silver helmet, i want black the closest thing to leather jacket - lol well the top pic & i was going to earase the helmet but umm he looks funny & i didnt want to start making his hair cause then he will look weird (like Edward looking weird shirtless)

& then of course i have to the effects & the arrangement... but yeah if i have it pictured it in my head or if i'd sketch it, then no it doesnt much take time... unless of course i change my mind while designing it.. like the first poster, i was going to have the castle of the voluti and other pics faded but then i thought that bella's blood drop was the problem *& it started all the drama *& suffering so i changed it to that lol
  • cclore ~ Team CW for BD
That looks great! Btw, when do you find the time to do these posters lol?
  • lol, i hate going out when it rains, i get sick quickly & its been raining in s. florida.. so yeah... lol

i started when i was 16, so im pretty quick, specially when i have it pictured in my head... but my "skills" are limited since i thought myself how to use photoshop & i stop while attending college.. now that i am done with college.. i started again with the dark blood drop poster...
  • cclore ~ Team CW for BD
Well, I think you have done a great job. I wouldn't even begin to know how to do one. Hope you keep it up!!
  • SandraW
too long to wait until january,
    everywhere started
the movie in november, but not in germany, why?

    greetings from germany
  • Homedawg
Wow, January? I feel sorry for them :(
Thank goodness I live in Canada!

It's pretty cool, but did anyone notice that it says DIE TWILIGHT SAGA? I know it's pronounced differently but it still is a little crazy to me lol.
  • teamedward
    i noticed! lol
  • teamedward
have yall noticed that it says die twilight saga in it lol just wanted to point that out
  • elisilla
wow... they have to wait a lot!
Mmm i have no idea when is the premiere here in Chile.
  • eastcoastbabe
Jacob's arm looks funky... It looks REALLY dark next to Kristen's skin.... weird.
  • elisilla
you're right!! his arm looks black... the colors are different than the original... i think.
  • ♥RobstenIn<32010::76♥
i feel sorry for them! YOu know what??! The twifans there should go together as a group and complained... it worked out pretty well in norway, when Twilight movie was going to be shown like feb ... they complained and they pushed it forward ...
now no problem with New Moon ... same date as US. LOL.
  • Ellifaey
The problem with German Movies is that they dub everything! I'd like to watch it in English here, but even that's not possible before set date. I probably go to the netherlands for that. They get to see it in november. Unfortunately that's a two hours drive from where I live. No... actually from where my sister lives. I travel 4 hours to her and then two hours to a dutch cinema ^^ Just to go to a movie :D
  • ROB'S MA KINDA MAN!
2010??? thats a long time to wait, i guess its really only a month or two away.

And it really sucks that we have to wait 'till january ;(
  • Twilightlover
Damn it! almost 1st! congrats who was 1st! poor germans ...good thing i live in th U.S!
  • i wonder why everyone else has to wait so long and it premieres in the US on November 20th. that's just wrong. lol. i'm sorry guys. =)
  • marshmallow
They dub everything in Germany, that's why it takes so long.

Though in Russia the dub everything as well, but the premieres there go at the same time as everywhere else - because if they wait the pirates will steal everything and no one will go to the movies =)
  • Sandra
We have a long wait in germany.....I wish I would be in the usa

    greetings from germany
  • ray_xo
    AHAHHA SUCKERS
  • sil
that's why I don't like living in Germany. I've got to move. 2010...that freaks me out
    the poster looks good though
  • Ashleylj13
    wow, january.

    My condolences :(
  • Thanks.. I am in Austria (near Germany, different land but thesame languages) and i most wait a day more....
    ;-((
  • I.heart.vampires.
I'm also in Austria and really, really, really hope they change their mind and put the date forward. It doesn't need to be November... I'm also OK when it is in December (so that I can at least watch it for my birthday ;))

@ Ashleylj13: thanks for the condolences
  • wow they have to wait until 2010... I'm glad I'm in the US.
  • lol same here it would be an eternity for me to wait till 2010
  • R.Pattz is my homeboy;)
