It's sort of a blink and you'll miss it role in Harry Potter, but...No role in Harry Potter is a small role for your career (look at Rob), so this is going to help make him an even bigger name :)

grindelwald is a dark wizard that dumbledore is famous for defeating forever ago. It was mentioned on a chocolate frog card in the first book.

I am a fan of both books (HP & TWI), I resisted to read HP at first, despite of the big uproars fr everywhere, as I thought ok it's mostly for kids ... lol ... how wrong was I ...
but after I saw HP movie1, I really digged it, so I decided to give the books a look. I am so glad I did, as it's awesome!!!! I love fantasy stories, and it's one of the best I have read ... wow .... such a world, I want to be in it, despite being an adult. ^^ IT's doesn't feel so children book to me ... as it have many aspects and things that ties to both children and adults. :D I love the books ....
As for Twilight, I read the books first. Saw an ad of the first book on a book site, and thought it looked interesting, clicked on it, to read more info on it, and liked the summary I read, so I checked the library site to borrow it. Then, the library only had the first book. But it was a good start, as I got to read it, and absolutely LOVED it.
The true (biggest) love factor really pulled me in. I was not on any team then. Maybe, I was and still am team LOVE (edward & bella). LOL. I bought book2 (NM) and the rest, as the library did not carry it then (they do now, i wrote to them, they should get it...lol, I'm sure many fangirls did too), in New Moon, I became team edward. :)
It's my least fave book though, but I am looking forward to the movie, it should be better than the first one, hopefully...

I'm a big Harry Potter's fan so it's great to see that another actor gets to be in the both movies. I even imagined Aro as Snape hahaha! but that was before knowing Michael Sheen would be Aro, after that i can't even picture someone more perfect for that role. I just guest my imagination mixed the both stories =).

i think the two roles DEFINITELY correspond...i want to c his performance in nm before i happy dance him as grindlewald though (hopefully he doesnt screw up two of the best series of all time) got to say that i did not picture anyone like him as either character though :-( (i think its the guyliner)

There are some werewolves in HP, Prof. Lupin in Book3, and he is also in the other books from then, in smaller parts, abit more in Book7, and we also known of another BAD werewolf especially in Book7, Fenrir Greyback, he was the one who changed Lupin, he loves to bite kids ...
