wooo hooo, ive just come back from montepuliciano and its all true !!!! i tried to enter the fortress and some film crew came out and told me i was unable to enter because a film is being made there, i asked if it was twilight and then they all went quite and then said "yes" with a big smile, i then asked if it was actually being shot in the fortress and they said no, its just being used as office and hotel!! i was then told to visit a wine chamber near by........ it was a perfect spooky location and at the back of the builing was a tent set up outside! i asked the manager about it and she said it was because a film is being filmed there.... arghhhhhh. The wine celler was called "cantina del redi"

Thi is perfect!!! It means the movie is coming and AaaH! I cant say it in words, Im so excited until I can see the movie!!!!!!!!

I wonder if Entertaiment Tonight is going to send reporters over there? I remenber they showed footage of Angels and Demons, so I'm sure they won't mind seeing a sneak peek at the Volturi scenes. I'm going to pass out, this is what I have been waiting for. I love the wolves. but give me my vampires.

I'm Italian and I live about 2 hrs (by car) away from Montepulciano...I still don't know if to go because things over here are getting a little bit too crazy: hundreds of fans united to go to the airport, hotel, set etc etc....honestly I think it'll be total cahos.
I hope everything will go on well: I don't wanna feel ashamed to be Italian (and I can swear I felt like that in the past meeting some of my fave musicians and other stars)

I'm a norwgian student living in Italy, not far from location! I'm heading out there to see if there is any posibilities to get some snapshots of the set. But as far as I know, the security is high... The city is perfect for the scene btw. Can't wait! Almost the whole cast is coming too! Nikki, Kellan etc although they're not in that scene at all, but they'll be here as well. I'll try to have more info soon..

I'm from Austria and with train it would take me 13 hours to get to montepulciano. I would really love to be there. But it doesn't look that well, because i think my parents wouldn't let me go there :/ plus i'm not sure if there is even a possibilty to see somone from the cast...
But i think montepulciano is really beautiful (i was there 2 years ago) and the perfect place to shoot the volturi scenes.

yea, definently looks like the same gate. errr maybe not, looks like the design at the top of the gate is different, could be some recent renovations or repairs though, who knows.
