My husband and I had an 'impasse' over Twilight. Basically he know thinks I'm mad and instead of moaning about it, he is reading the first book! I think he must have thought 'if you can't beat em, join em' tehe.

I hear you, my husband went to see the movie with me and I didn't have to force him. I had not read the books but my friend did and so after we watch the movie, I went and bought all the books and after I read them he started reading them. I love my hubby, he understands :p

That seemed to be people's biggest complaint...but I actually liked that part. I liked the look he gave when he said "I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to introduce myself last week...I'm..Edward Cullen." He flashed sort of a half smile and you could tell he was doing his "dazzle" eyes to calm Bella. OH MAN I squealed in the theater!

Not saying it was YOUR complaint, "EdwardandBella" it's just that I remember people saying he didn't perfect his American accent. But I thought he did perfectly line considering he never worked with an accent coach or anything.

I thought it was the best part because it really sounded the way he said like he was from the past :D and omg when he is talking to her about how living on animal blood is like tofu and he does this smile i am DAZZLED no joke wen he goes, "it wouldn't be like drinking your blood for instance"

Yeah I like it, too. Partially because he calls Bella "love" in the later books, and that's a totally British thing to call someone, so I imagined him with a hint of a British accent.

I thought I heard some sort of an accent in Twilight! In the scene where he talks about the graduation caps being a private joke: the way he says "joke" reminds me of a Chicago accent. "johke". It reminded me of how they say the name Tom: "Tahm". :) The same goes for the cleaning the truck/meet my family scene! Can anyone from Chi-town verify this? ;D There's a guy in my office who's originally from Chicago, but he'd probably think I was nutty if I asked him. Besides, I highly doubt he has seen the film. xD

Lainey's Gossip page on the story says that it's Jane's power that hurls him in the air (according to Lainey, not sure if it's factual) because it is more visually effective than him just writhing in pain.

Jane and Alec's power affect the mind/brain. So I'm not sure if she creates the illusion of pain, or if she tricks the brain into thinking it's in complete pain- both are kinda the same concept though

Besides, the copy that I read has been revised since it was leaked because it doesn't mention the theatre scene that they were filming last week or so, so there will be some surprises. They put Jacob at the beginning in Forks parking lot. They showed him when they are looking for her in the forest. They've shot the theater scene and the motorcycle scene. What more could you ask for. I think the script is much much better handled than in Twilight.

since someone else brought up the script.... the movie scene with bella/jacob/mike wasn't in it... AND in reality, they already shot that scene (remember the ET coverage)... so it's either 1. a fake, 2. not the script they're going with, or 3. they shot a scene to throw us off (not likely....) i skimmed it, i wanted to see if it was the real deal... looks real, but i doubt it.

I read the script too. And I believe it is authentic. If you see the date it the script. It's written in December, so there is a possibility of revised edition where they change and delete some scenes before the actual shooting in May. And Edward was not hurled by Jane. It was Felix and Demitri. Felix tossed Edward to a window. Just like in Twilight.

i really dont want felix and demetri to beat edward up....i just dont think it would really happen...imo edward writhing in pain on the floor will be enough another fight scene just isnt really needed lol anyway, watching edward's pain while jane unleashes on him is enough for one movie!!!! its going to be painful for me to watch him get hurt =D

my friend rents out a whole theatre for the midnight showing......going, going , gone!! Then back home to p/u my daughter and sit in the movie theatre all day. In a sick way I'm really excited to see the Volturi scenes, because they basically set up the rest of the saga, even more so than the wolf pack stuff--sorry to the wolf pack fans! It is the vampire rules that dictate the direction of the plot lines. So, I definitely don't want Rob to get hurt doing stunts, even if it is just a foam wall, but really excited to see the how the 'gifts' translate onto screen!
