Besides for the sexy voice and sexy hair, Rob really is a deep person, I can tell from how he talks he is a real artist. My x fiancee is a musician and the way Rob talks reminds me of how a real artists talks and acts, my x would dissect everything. His music, the music he wrote.Its a passion. Its not often you come by someone who loves the art of film and music not just to make money and fame from it. I hope he never changes that part of himself.

I definately agree with you on that one. I really love how he analyses everything so deeply and puts so much thought into every part he plays, its amazing.

Confession when I read New Moon, and Bella heard Edward's voice, I envision him being there. And they are keeping true to the book because even Eddie said he left his soul with her. Sorry Jacob fans, Jacob is important but this book isn't the Jacob Black show, the saga is still about Edward and Bella. Prove that their connedtion is stronger than ever despite that they are not physically together, everything Bella did was so she can hear Edward, so in truth, his presence never left. So you can say his ghost was always between Bella and Jacob.

As a Jacob Fan, i understand that the whole hearing Edward thing symbolizes their connection. I might love Jacob but it is so obvious that Bella and Edward are made for each other and NO ONE can come between them. Jake just can't compete, he doesn't sparkle.

I think this is the best interview I've ever heard with RPattz. He was just so genuine and kind and it made me feel better that he wanted to stick to the book. It felt like a gateway into his soul. He is so sweet and nice.

Besides Jake is not going to lose his chance to shine, it's not like Edward will poping out everywhere, so fans will get both fixes. Two for the price of one. I say I'm not complaining. Even Bella says a date with Edward and Jake. Not bad at all.

Well, there won't be anything coming out on May 5th.

I don't know if they are releasing a scene during the MTV Movie Awards like last year or if they are releasing anything at all in May.

I once heard a man in a movie say that "he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life time, he never knew her name and he never approched her because he did not want to spoil his image of her with lifes disapointments but that she would become the love of his life even if she would never be his."
Never thought I'd be so lucky or unlucky for that matter... And this translates to Rob. I would never approch him if I were ever so lucky to see him in person. I am not Robsessed or at least I don't think I am. I consider myself sane and I have a beautiful life. But I do love him so... his beauty to me is so complete way beyond what my eyes see. And i too am one of the older posters on here. I am not old enough to be their mother but I am a good bit older than them. But I still love the Twilight series and the actors they chose to play the characters in the books.

Gosh I hate that song being so "decode"-like. I think they've tried too hard to match the soundtrack of the last movie. It should be more original, decode has defenitely had an affect on this song.. Not good at all, I don't wanna hear it in the movie. The lyrics are boring, too.

That was a really really good interview. I think it's one of my second favourite interview of him. I love how Rob just gets Edward's character. He doesn't try to copy the book, he makes Edward's character his own, but it's still true to the book. And Rob is really deep, especially when he was talking in the last 3 to 5 minutes of the video. He analyzes everything and has his own opinion of everything. He's just so incredible. I hope he never changes. He's perfect in his own way.

I'm not sure if you've watched it before. But do you remember the interview he had with Access Hollywood? It was the one where the interviewer asked Rob did he proposed to Kristen. And he took out his cellphone and showed her this text he got about getting married to his lady he didn't even know. It was the funniest interview ever! I laughed so much. I recommend it if you haven't watched it yet.

I agree with Robert about New Moon. I think it will suck and take away from the movie if they keep sticking bits of images of Edward in it. I think the whole yearning for him coming back at the end keeps the suspense and thrill. The chase of Bella saving Edward at the last moment makes peoples hearts race. I am not sure they can pull that off with the images and hallucinations of Edward haunting Bella till the very end. They just need to keep the voice of Edward and not the hallucinations. Bella running into the plaza and seeing him for the first time for months should be just that, exciting, suspenseful, a rush.

I think it wont be true to the book doing that, and the movie wont be as good as a movie as it could, but how could be watch through the movie without seeing a little rob in it? Maybe the re-unition won't be as impressive as it could with these hallucinations, but I really wanna see Edward too, I really prefer him to Jacob and I don't want Jacob to steal the screen for the entire movie :D I'm sure I'll be happy with it no matter what.

^And, having said that, I LOVE the interview! He's so deep with his answers and I like the interviewer too, getting all the info out of him, pushing him to tell more and to analyze. Hopefully we'll see more as deep interviews as this even though his fame has just grew after that one.. I think it's harder to do such descriptive interviews when you're on the headlines all the time, being chased by fans and doing interviews all the time.

I have to say that im Team Jacob, so seeing more of him in this movie will be better. Maybe just seeing little bits of Edward will make us want him more, so it might be better at the end when they are reunited. But i think it would be best if they stuck as close to the story line as they could.

I think that he probably changed his mind about "diluting" part. I doubt it will make ther reunion weak.
He said it himself in recent interview that it would be cheesy if you just hear his voice..mind this, this was recorded in November, I don't think he read the script then.

I think most of people that still have a problem with that are just worried that it will take away from Taylors time in the movie which I don't think will happen. I mean they aren't concerned about Bella/Edward reunion for real. It's a done deal, get over it.

I don't know what you're talking about regarding Kristen. If you're re-reading the books over and over again, I'm not sure how you missed that she's supposed to be an ordinary, yet pretty looking girl -- not "gorgeous." She's beautifully natural, as shown in the film. She even comments several times in the book that she barely wears make-up. I think they stayed true to the book by putting her in natural hues. If they did anything else to make her look "gorgeous," I'd be disappointed. She looks just as she was described in the book.

It actually bugs me that someone who claims that they're rereading the books over and over feels like they didn't hit Bella spot-on in the film. Do you have one eye shut while you're reading or something?

to me, he seems to have such a beautiful mind
and i like how deeply he sees into the book series, and he wants to do it right, make it real.

Is it just me or does Rob always look stoned in his interviews? Maybe he is just really tired. I dunno..... It also looks like he has to really think about what he's gonna say before he says it. The interviewer is asking really hard questions though. I wouldnt know how to answer most of them. :P

I love these interviews. You get a great chance to see and hear what is going through his mind when he films and what life is like for him. This is the longest one i've seen and its probably the best.

BEST INTERVIEW YET-he doesnt look exhausted or sick of the person across from him. He looks like he's chillaxin with a friend and talkin. You get the vibe coming off of him. Thank God he does his homework when he looks into the characters he plays..I'm diggin him-Ugh I wish he gets a break and does more interviews like this!

That was one of the best interviews I've ever seen... I like that it was uncut and you saw his little shifts trying to get comfortable... it makes him seem like someone you'd want to hang out with and discuss life with... I'm impressed by how he actually seems to be smart.. what a relief...

Yeah, I noticed the chat button was missing yesterday. Had never been to chat though, but noticed yesterday that it was gone.

I'm old enough to be Robs mom but that hasn't stopped me from crushing and lusting over him. He is so refreshing and real. This is one of the best interviews I have seen of him to date. You can tell he is a very deep thinker and incredibly intelligent. He has turned my world upside down and I'm loving every moment of it. What a beautiful and charming young man.

See?! Even Robert doesn't think he should be seen all throughout the movie!!! He says that would "dilute" it. Perfect word. It takes away from his "spectacular" come back at the end. Why can't Robert Pattinson fans think more like Robert Pattinson? lol he seems to have the right idea.....I'm loving this man more and more with every word, every hair sweep, and every sip of that empty soda bottle =)

The thing is that he recently said that it wouldn't look right in the movie if she only hears him. I think he said it would be cheesy. That was recorded in November, he didn't even read the script then. I guess there's something in the script that is good that changed his mind. So I have faith it will look good.

Nope definitely not take away from his time, Taylor will shine in this episode! Yeah the interview with Rob was in Nov. and alot has changed since then, don't you think? I think they are doing the right thing with the hallucinations. I think it will give a better understanding of the constant pain Bella is in. Just be ready this is definitely going to be different! But.....the book itself is different!

I totally agree with people saying movie=visual media, thus seeing Edward and not only hearing it is necessary. Lots of things have to be shown in a movie because we can't hear what's going on in the characters' heads or you'd have to have non-stop voice-over lol.

Bella constanstly hears Edward's voice throughout the book and he's always 'with' her even if he's not physically. We'll have Edward with us too during the movie too, seems logical to me for the audience to get the point. And if hearing about Edward a lot in the book (from Bella's mind) didn't ruin the reunion, seeing lots of Edward in the movie won't ruin the reunion either. It's not like they interact during the whole movie! You'll still feel their separation and imo you'll even more feel her despair from being apart from him.
And more Edward is never a bad thing (lol) and team jacob fans will have plenty of jacob screentime to be happy with, so no worry here.

Now I know you're kidding with that but nevertheless I'd like to point out that being a Robert fan doesn't mean the fan has to think like him. He has his own opinion, fans have theirs. Being a fan doesn't come with a contract stipulating that you can't but agree with everything he thinks or believes in ;) Oh and he doesn't have the right idea, he just has an opinion, his own opinion. Doesn't mean he's right or wrong, whether we agree with it or not lol

Just hearing him would be cheesy,I mean it works for the book,but it wouldn't for the movie imo,better if it's visual,it's a film after all,having images of him sounds better than having audio effects only and his voice coming out of nowhere. Also the audience that didn't read the book would be quite confused,thinking 'wtf? where the hell does that voice come from? is it in her head or what?' you know. Visuals will be clearer indication of what's happening with her. Her hearing his voice only is not bad in the book cause of frequent inner dialogue Bella's having (which we won't have in the movie) that explains many things that happen to her. I think they figured out a great way to involve Rob more(without taking anything away from other aspects in the book) and show the depths of depression Bella suffers from.

That's what I was saying before. It is a movie, visual media. It will help a lot to explain things and even to make it more effective. It's interesting how there's a lot of conflicting opinions that people feel very strongly about.
For example I always visualised him when I read the book, always. I even didn't figure it out on the first read that she only hears him, and it didn't dilute reunion in Italy at all. And I know a lot of people also didn't realise that she doesn't see him, they figured it out later.

Hallucination images of certain characters have been used in movies, and you never had the feeling that you've seen to much of that character, because you are aware that it's not really him, he's not there. It is even sadder when you can physically see it and you KNOW it is an illusion.

And of course it is important because of the audience. A lot of people who haven't read Twilight were confused with the movie becase there was a lot of stuff that weren't explained the right way.
People can say ...well they should make it for us fans who read the book, well that's not the point. The point is to transfer things from the book to the movie the right way. You can't just do certain things and hope the audience will figure it out.
And good point about Bella's dialoge, in the book you understand things from her head, and you are aware what's going on. But in the movie it's a different situation.
I agree the way they're doing it just shows the depths of Bella's depression.

umm. the confusion on where the voice came from is what Bella felt when she had the first hallucination, right? and a voice out of nowhere would be pretty surprising especially for those who haven't read the book. like you do not know when the voice will come out again. and you don't know when you will hear the voice again which will make you very eager..

However...I never thought I would say this...I freaking LOVE that guy! In a non creeper way. I just like his personality and honesty.

I am thrilled that he gets the character of Edward. In the beginning I really admired how he studied the character relentlessly. I love that he talked to Steph about how Edward should be. He is smart and he gets it. I am thrilled to see that he agrees with some of us about Edward being in all of the movie. It does take away. It will dillute the reunion. We are going to sit through the whole movie, watching phantom images of him, and what will that leave for the end? We have "physically" seen him throughout the movie. It could really make for a boring, predictable reunion. But whatever I'm just concerned about my wolves having their time lol.

Not to mention Eclipse! OMP! The Cullens AND the wolves together. eeeee! I get so excited thinking about it.

I know all the Twilighters know Edward comes back but what about the people who haven't read the books or haven't visited New Moon websites? They need to feel how we felt when we read the book. They need to feel his absence. If we constantly see him, we won't miss him and that what's going to bother me the most about the movie.

I agree about Edward being in the whole movie. When I read the book the first time I was brought to tears when he left and then the whole time Bella was hanging out with Jacob you could still feel the pain. But when they were reunited the excitement I felt was amazing. (ok so I get into books when I read). I have read the series 3 times now and I feel the same every time I read them. That is what people who have not read the books needs to feel.

I found this interview surfing the net a couple of months ago, and I love the glimpse of the serious artist Rob. He is such a serious and thoughtful actor, and he really dives deep into his characters in a serious way. I love this interview, too, because it shows how solidly he looks for something good to do and is confident when he does take a part. (I also enjoyed the different ways he played with his hair during the interview HA). I think this interview solidified my huge crush on him more than anything. HE is beautiful and a fascinating person! Maybe he was more relaxed because it looked like he did this via his webcam from a hotel room.

This was the first time I saw this interview and it made me love Rob even more than before. He is so down to earth and unaffected by the whole movie star thing ... AND, he was driving me crazy the way he kept playing with his hair! As for whether or not we hear Edward's voice or see him in New Moon, much as I love him I agree that it would take away from the reunion if they kept showing him throughout the movie. I am team Edward, but give Jacob his moment and it will be sweeter when Edward comes back at the end.

Not to be ungrateful, because there can never be TOO MUCH Rob, but this interview has been on You Tube for months. I think I first saw it back in January. Who cares tho....gotta love Rob!
