But it's the official site. Official sites aren't fan sites. Of course they're not going to show paparazzi pictures and fan art. That's not the point of an official site. They'll have top quality pictures and trailers. They're promoting the movie, not pandering to every whim of tweens and teenagers.

The official site is gorgeous, but it's also a flash blob that you can't link to direct features of, only the main page. It's more of an interactive flash brochure than anything, which seems to be the norm for the sparkle & dazzle of movie websites nowadays that don't feel the need to engage readers in a "Web 2.0" way.

It's a symbiotic relationship, IMO, and I think Summit understands this by reaching out to fan sites.

Same here. I haven't gotten a countdown because I'd rather not know how many days. I just know it's months away. It was kind of exciting the other day when someone announced it was under 200 days. So I look forward to hearing when we are at 150 or something.
