Here’s a fantastic if brief video from the New Moon shoot in Italy. It shows some of the many red-clad extras parading the street for the St. Marcus festival that will be in the movie, and through the crowd comes the Yellow Porsche that Alice Cullen will be driving.

Three of the lovely ladies from New Moon–Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Ashley Greene–had what appears to be lunch in Italy. The pics are pretty uninteresting but enough people have sent them in that I’m going to bow to peer pressure and post them.

The always-endearing LettersToTwilight has a great report from a Philly 100 Monkeys show, including reports of fan-made 100 Monkeys gear, Monkey Hats, stuffed monkeys….well’s let’s just say you’ve never read anything simian-ilar. The wrap-up of the long post ends on a note that sounds like the lesson of a hilarious after-school special, though–

So, real deal is…. I thought the band was awful. I truly think they are a bunch of friends from LA who are TALENTED musicians and love to get high. One day they were high and said. “I know.. let’s ride out Jackson’s fame and play some shows across the country.” So a bunch of talented kids who love to get high are riding around the country in a van, knowing they can sell out 6 nights in Philly, b/c they’re friend was a vampire in a movie. To me their sound was dated and not very creative. They play 3 chords and make up lyrics- and sweat… a lot…. but Jackson is hot.

Lainey Gossip has the details on all the scenes that will be filmed this week in Italy, along with some pictures of the New Moon cast leaving Vancouver. Here are the details–

First two days will focus on Bella trying to make her way through the throngs of festival revelers to reach Edward. She jumps in the fountain, wades through it, towards him. Of course she makes it in time at which point he pulls her into a building.

By the way – if you’re wondering, yes, they’ll be trying to include the “slamming” into his body.

When they reunite, Bella and Edward do kiss followed by the arrival of Jane and the others.

They’ll also film something from Alice’s perspective on these two days. She “sees” Edward sparkling in the sunlight.

Some the driving sequences will also go ahead on Tuesday and Wednesday, schedule permitting. .

On Thursday they’ll be jumping into a hole in the ground. This will likely be Robert Pattinson’s final day barring any major delays – heads up to you twi-hards who’ve made the journey.

Friday is more driving and Porsche work.

Just Jared has pictures of the cast hanging out in Italy, including some of Ashley Greene looking gorgeous in a bikini by the pool.
