According to the fine folks over at TwilightersItalia, Robert Pattinson arrived in Rome at the Fiumicino Airport on his way to Montepulciano at 12:30pm local time, which works out to 6:30am EST. He’s already made his way to Tuscany.
In other news from Montepulciano, the new fountain was given a trial run with water to prep for shooting the film. TwilightersItalia says–
Also today, they’re shooting in the centre of the city, our friends told us that the Porsche was actually there this morning. With a bit of luck we’ll have some pictures to share of that too later.
The Italian shoot is really starting to ramp up! Anyone else as excited as me?

New Moon vampire dad Peter Facinelli was spotted on a beast of a motorcycle yesterday in Toluca Lake, California. It is good to see he’s taking some time for himself now that he’s finished with his role on the New Moon shoot! Check out the article at RadarOnline. He was also spotted out for dinner with his wife, Jennie Garth, who is on crutches. The whole family went out for a fun evening as well.

New Moon star Robert Pattinson looks to be having great fun at the after-party for the amfAR Charity Auction he attended yesterday, where he offered kisses and meet & greets to two ladies who ponied up €20,000 each for the privilege.

The vampy leading man was auctioned off today in Cannes for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 2009 Cocktail Party. The bidding got so high that Pattinson was split between two bidders, who each paid €20,000 for the chance to meet, greet and win a kiss on the cheek from the ‘Twilight’ idol.
