Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez went out for sushi together, and it seems the Lautners like Selena as she was also seen out shopping with Taylor’s sister. Awww!

Robert Pattinson was spotted leaving Vancouver late yesterday on his way to the Cannes Film Festival in France. He’s going in coordination with Summit to help find buyers for some upcoming Summit pictures. According to Lainey Gossip, a bit of the Pattinson family is in town as well–

Heard a hilarious story the other night that his cousin is in town and she was at a club on Friday and was holding a table and kept telling the publicists that “Rob is coming” and pointing to her cell phone saying he was texting her so the whole time people were waiting for him to show up even though on Friday he was still working on Vancouver. Sharing bonuses with friends and family. Very cool.

The Peninsula Daily News takes an interesting look at the changing face of Forks from sleepy timber town to burgeoning tourist destination with the success of Twilight. The town recognizes all the fans visiting, and has started to offer advice just for the Twilight visitors–

Visitors can pick up a colorful map of the action sites in the book and go off on a self-guided tour, hoping to catch sight of the occasional vampire (on a cloudy day) or a werewolf (non-seasonal).

Their fantasy is fed by the Chamber of Commerce-run Visitor Information Center, where mail for the vampire Cullen family is being saved and where props for exciting photos are treasured and shared.

Directions to other activities and information on Olympic National Park, the former big draw, are offered as well.

Residents are showing a tolerant, slightly amused face to visitors and often recognize the plight of their photo-happy visitors and offer to snap a picture of a group of tourists.

New Moon star Robert Pattinson revealed that he had quite a disturbing experience with some fans that took his fictional character a bit too far–

“One time there were these four girls – in Chicago I think – and they had all scratched their necks until they bled, and then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross.”

All I have to say is–eww!
