In coordination with the New Moon trailer premiere during the MTV Movie Awards happening this Sunday evening on TV during the awards ceremony that begins at 9pm EST, you’ll also be able to catch the trailer on Myspace starting at 7:45PST/10:45pm EST. This Sunday certainly promises to end May with a bang!

Oh, and as we retweeted on Twitter yesterday, ET is promising new scenes from New Moon tonight on their television show. Hopefully, it’s something substantial!

Before New Moon, there was Twilight. And before New Moon director Chris Weitz, there was Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke. Given that her film is up for so many trophies this weekend at the MTV Movie Awards, MTV chats to her and notes–

She has the original script and the first “Twilight” book she bought, complete with all her notes and alternate lines for Edward’s “Hold on tight, spider monkey.” (Robert chose that one after reading 10 alternative lines that Catherine wrote the night before, including “Wrap your legs around me and hold on tight, spider monkey” and “Fasten your seatbelt, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.”)

Ashley Greene was spotted arriving on the New Moon set in Italy, no doubt to prep for some Alice Cullen-y goodness.. I believe this is the first we’ve seen her outside of dining, swimming and socializing type pictures. As TwiCrack points out, an extra in Montepulciano tweeted about 3 hours ago that–

Ashley is looking fabulous in big sunglasses & head scarf. It looked like she was driving the Porsche in the last shot.

Andy Samberg, known for his “#@#! in my pants” skit on SNL, has told E!’s Mark Malkin that he dreams of Twilight–

I’ve seen Twilight once. But I’ve seen scenes from Twilight many times in my dreams. You know what I mean? In a lot of ways I see Twilight constantly every day, because once you see it, it stays with you forever.
