Honsetly, I thought the kiss was kinda akward. I totally voted for it , but I kinda thought it sucked. Well, not sucked, but it was akward they way they kissed. It was better in the book. But, I still love twilight!

I don't really care where they're sitting. But to be honest, its all about the ratings. That's all that MTV cares about. Having Robert and Kristen in the front, and sitting together, will be good for the show. Its as simple as that.

it's all about who's in high demand at the moment not about how big a part they have in the movie they represent. Right now it's RPattz and KStew,it's just how showbizz works.

Hey you guys shouldnt get angry because its all done by MTV. U know on set everyone is equal, and in our hearts (whether or not you are team Edward or Jacob, we all still respect the cast and love them all dearly) I bet none of the MTV executives have read the book and understand what the "hype" is about. U know they are just seeing it as a selling tactic. "Hmm these two actors are on all the Magazine covers! They are in some movie called Twilight. Stick them in front the fans will love it!" WE KNOW that this story is not just about Edward and Bella, but to them its all about the $$ and Bella and Edward are the product.

Second, next year it will still probably go to Edward and Bella for the climatic kiss in Italy, but Jacob will get his fair share of love. The story is still Edward and Bella, but as long as the fans understand the true meaning behind the love triangle and the story then we shouldnt let MTV and the media get to us!

The true twihards know and love everyone in the movie! As long as we do that, MTV can kiss our sparkly or hairy wolf looking a$$es.

P.s. Even though TL is three rows behind we will still be able to see him! come on now hes a selling ticket too!

I WOULD find it more 'unfair' that Kellan or Cam are a few rows back and off to the side to be honest since it's for Twilight. But still, I don't think there's anything unfair here. Kristen and Robert were the leads in this movie so I of course get them getting more media attention and be in the front. And with Robert's popularity nowadays, he'll be the focuse and if things go on like that for him next year, he'll still be even if he's not in NM as much. It's all about being the leads and popularity.
And I doubt any one of the other 3 really cares or at least, even they were jealous, I'm pretty sure they are just used to it now and do know how it works.

The awards are for Twilight... as much as Jacob is apart of the series, he is not a main part of the movie. The guy had like four lines in the movie and about five minutes of screen time. As much as I like "Jacob"/Taylor he is not a part of this movie as much as everyone seems to think. He will be able to shine next year at the award shows after New Moon... when he will have more screen time. Remember he is a huge part of the series not Twilight the movie.

LOL, they won't do the same to Rob. Rob is a HUGE star. He's so bankable that he is HEADLINING his new film, Remember Me...as in, the poster for the film is literally his name and the title of the movie. After having been in one mainstream film, he was invited to the Oscars, and was in like the second row. And, he caused more commotion at Cannes than Brad Pitt. My point is: they'll always seat Rob in the front.

That being said, I don't dislike Taylor, and I hope that he doesn't care about this whole seating thing. Its must MTV. LOL.

i completely agree jan. you'll see what these film companies are doing and who is truly marketable when you note that "ROBERT PATTINSON-REMEMBER ME" is the only thing they have on their teaser poster right now. honestly, it's all they need. it's not even a matter of "who gets more screen time" or "who the leading man should be" to them. look at how much notoriety brad pitt got in "burn after reading"--and he dies not long after he shows up on screen. it's about money and getting this group of young girls to associate summit with twilight--and therefore go to see many of their movies after the series. it's brand recognition if you ask me--and right now, robert pattinson is their gold mine.

personally...and i can only speak for myself on this...but i doubt taylor minds much. with the grace and poise that he has shown throughout this whole thing i doubt he would be as picky about where he sits as we, the people who adore him and want to see him treated fairly would....i know that if it was me, i could give 2 poops and spork where i would be sitting....i would be at the MTV MOVIE AWARDS of corn sake!!!!!!! and presenting at that!!!! they could sit me in the janitors closet until my turn to present for all i would care! as long as i was there!

Well if you think about it, the award show is a year behind so it makes sense why he isn't at the front row (he wasn't a main char in Twilight). I think next year he'll have a better seat, next to Kris. :)

Rob and Kristen are supported but great actors in this movie and without the rest of the actors there wouldn't be a movie regardless of whether its about Bella and Edward. At any other award show they seat the cast together over two rows whether people are in it for the whole thing or just 5 mins. Its not just about Taylor, this is about the rest of the cast going as well...Kellan and Cam being pushed right back...I just think its wrong.

Twilight isn't just about Rob & Kristen, its made the rest of the actors get known more too and its about time they showed them some recognition.

I completely agree with you TWP. I think that whole cast should be sitting together at least spread over the first two rows but together. They do that at the Oscars so why can't MTV get it right. I know Taylor is not heavily in Twilight and the awards are about Twilight and not NewMoon but Cam and Kellan are and they are being pushed back to.

I know the whole world loves Rob but this is taking the pi$$...the cast should be sitting together. Not just Taylor but anyone else from Twilight that is going.

I would love to see them include that. "It's ok Jake, I'll tell my dad.."

I love Sam's immense, strong, confident presence. It gives me happy-chills when Bella hears snuffling and then is cradled against Sam's chest and he says, "Have you been hurt?" and takes her home..

But what makes me so angry is lack of pack set pictures....we have set pics of Rob without a shirt but not the pack? Come on! Two...there are other pack members. I would love to know what is going on with Chaske, Bronson, Kiowa, Tyson (I think that's the dude who plays Quil's name), and Tinsel. But nobody seems to care.

I LOVE free verse/poetry. It's so beautiful. I completely lose myself. The first time I read The Illiad I was lost. Nobody could speak to me for 2 days until I finished lol. I love poetry period but free verse is my fave. I am a fan of Shakespeare. He is just brilliant.

I enjoyed some of the dialog in Twilight. However....no dialog that speaks of monkey men and spider monkeys. Seriously. lol.

I never look angry when I'm angry, so when a curse shoots out my lips everyone in the room gets very VERY nervous and I find that it's quite an effective way to say, "you've officially pushed me over my limit and now I"m going to rail on you..."

The people making the seating charts are bandwagoners. That's how they are w/ celebrities, pretty lame. After NM comes out Taylor will be stalked even more. Right now everyone is stalking Rob, with good reason, but once he gets his "fame" (meanwhile, the guy is pure fame to us, being our Jacob and all lol), he'll be getting better treatment. Besides, that whole cast is amazing... they all should be there, front and center. And as a part of the awards ceremony, the Cullen boys and the wolf pack should have to go on stage and do a strip tease. After watching Twilight, I got the distinct impression that the guys playing Embry and Quil were directed to "stand behind Jake and look Quileute" and I"m praying that they really develop the characters and the sense of friendship/brotherhood that is among the wolves and not give the other wolf-pack members 2 seconds to wave at Bella and just "give that silent authentic Quileute feel" .

They are just as much a family as the Cullens were in Twilight. I damn well better have my effing pack time. If I don't...I will not watch Eclipse or BD. I will simply re-read my books, and add in my own crap.

Establishing background and relationships between the characters didn't seem to be Melissa's stength in her writing of the screen play for twilight. Like you I hope she has improved her writing skills with New Moon, or at least CW takes a more detailed approach. Much was left out of the development of the characters in Twilight.

Completely agree. I like to refer to Melissa as the Wicked Witch of Twilight. I have faith in Chris based on what I have seen. I think he has the detailed approach. I'm still worried though lol. New Moon is my fave book because of the pack.

Like I said..my positive hope is that they're just keeping the pack a "yummy surprise" and it's not that their clips fell on the editing floor. At least in my mind, LaPush was portrayed as this place that was so strong in family and history and enveloped in the strength and warmth of that...like Jacob's house was so tiny it was always busting, but it was filled with people and friends a lot and that's what's important and Bella was able to relax and thrive in that environment. I just want to see them build that up. And I want to see Emily hit whoever that was with a spoon. LOL

I am the same way with books. I'm a bookaholic. I really, really love historical fiction. My all time fave book will always be The Illiad, then The Complete Works of Plato. Haven't read Confessions of a Shopaholic yet. It's on the list lol.

If a film is based on one of my fave books....I will not see it until someone gives me the ok too. Like with the movie "Troy" I couldn't watch it in theaters. Ooh, I like just about everything as long as it's not too nasty. I get very into what I read, so I gotta be careful what I put in my head (If I read stuff with a lot of cursing, it just wants to pop out of my mouth and I Hate that, so I try to watch it..)

I love free verse/poetry, too- the ones where they have an entire story told in free verse segments. I could lose myself in it.

I LOVE love love Shakespeare and I love it when they do really good modern adaptations of his stuff too. And Jane Austen b/c her characters are so much like people today

They killed the dialogue in Twilight. I was so embarrassed b/c I begged begged begged my husband to get me the movie, and the dialogue was so inane that I was embarrassed to watch it with him. The rest of it was good though. ANd I did really like Justin Cho's lines.

I'm one of those ppl that if I love a book, I'm really ferocious about keeping with the details. I cant' watch it until someone I trust sees it and gives the ok.

I loved Confessions of a Shopaholic and my husband took me to watch as a surprise and I was prepared to nit-pick it and despite the changes TOTALLY loved it. I've read the whole series 3 times each and I practically drool laughing every time.

I saw the Special Edition at Barnes & Noble the other day. I just finished "The Queen's Fool" by Philippa Gregory. I needed something new. Breaking Dawn - Book 2 (only book I have at the moment) is practically worn out. I love Eclipse! NM is my fave but Eclipse and BD-Book 2 are tied for my 2nd fave.
