Dune would really be good for Rob to do. It would be the right move, don't be confused he is going in the right direction he is showing his versatility! I like Sci- Fic, and there is a character in that movie that all the women would like, and I am willing to bet that’s the part they want him for. Don't hate me but I think that he shouldn't do any mythological or sci-fi characters... Edward is enough for him, i just don't want him to get label, and will love to see him doing diferent characters, as Dalí, that was a great role for him... Rob, just stay away from blockbusters characters and show the world your range as an actor, because Twilight success will follow you until the end so... one blockbuster character is enough for you! (and don't forget he did Harry Potter).

Don't get me wrong, i love Rob, and looooooove Twilight saga but it'll sucks if he stands like "the guy who played the sexy vampire" "the guy who played the sexy wizard" "the guy who played the sexy (insert here mythological character o sci-fi)" even when i have no doubts that he will do it great.

Oooooh! Rob in Dune remake?? Please let this be true! The Dune book series is brilliant and the movie (with Sting) is a classic sci-fi flick. The themes are more adult and will certainly bring a new audience for Rob's movies. On the other side of the coin, the younger tween/teen fans will be exposed to a classic sci-fi adventure....broadening young minds is always a good thing.

I love these sand and sandal epics, I love Troy, the Beast Master, Conan the Barbarian. You name it, they are so fun. 10,000 B.C with Steven Straight good lord and Rob has the body type, for those who have seen Little Ashes agree with me. He can get buff, if Brad Pitt managed to get that Achilles body, so can Rob. And to the person who said he shouldn't do block buster movies, just indie, that is also type casting. See Rob should take a lesson from someone who does what ever movie type he wants and only listens to himself. Mr Johnny Depp, he does commerical as well as indie films. So Rob should only listen to Rob. If the movie is a movie studio or indie the bottom line is that it be a great story.

WoW! There is only one series I love in the world AS MUCH as I love Twilight and that is Dune.

I've never been a 'huge' celebrity follower.. Really I love Edward more specifically than I do RP (not that RP isn't cool and all), however If RP were to play a character in Dune, I think I might just become his biggest fan.

BTW.. I'd hardly call Paul Maudib an 'alien'. He may have been born on Caladan, and lived as well on Dune, but he's still human. They all came from Earth long long ago. *Sheesh*

The Dune movie with Sting was one of the most infamous bombs in movie history. Great books - didn't translate well to film. Maybe with the right treatment, but this is risky territory. And Hercules??? Sorry, I find Rob as attractive as the next girl, but he's a bit skinny for a role in that, unless of course he packs on some more muscle. (yes, I know, the hate comments will be forthcoming - but seriously girls, I love Rob - just keeping it real. Rob himself admits he's never been the brawny athlete type)

I am so excited, having a girl-geek celebration at the idea that Rob could be in Dune. The book was amazing, but the movie with Kyle McLachlan really SUCKED, so don't base anything on that movie. I would be on Dune instead of Hercules, because Rob does not have the build for that. He is fine and lean the way he is! I will see whatever Rob or Kristen do, regardless.

I like rob don't get me wrong. I'm a 25 yr old single mom who still gets giddy at hot guys but I'm major nerd hardcore. When it comes to sci fi I know my stuff. I have read all the book series and watch all dune movies. That's right the 1984 version with Kyle MacLachlan, Sting, and Patrick Stewart; 2000 version with Alec Newman and William Hurt. Oh must I forget the hot James McAvoy in Children of Dune, in which is the title of the third book but tends to link by intertwining with the second book Dune Messiah. Now with reading the books and watching the movies he is not suited to be the characters Paul or Leto II. For one he would seriouly have to get in shape and form some good muscles because the phisique of these men movie and book they are warriors. Two, rob is built for drama and passionate movies, his kissing scene in little ashes still didn't turn me off from him, and granted Dune is a dramatic sci fi. Yet I forsee it being a bad act for him due to the difference in styles between fantasy and sci fi. Fantasy is like edward cullen, Beautiful, and built up to be something completly wonderful it has it's downers but always happy in the end and appeals more to the female population. Sci fi not always a happy ending, always makes you wonder and have endless possiblity of space, lots of battles in space, on earth, different worlds, and always against aliens or the paranormal like demons and ghost. But always a battle or fight. Always has more attractive women then men. Men like the ones with tails (LOL). More aimed towards men and nerdy men or men who want to believe there is life out there. Sorry, raised by a father that turned me into every typical mans good girlfriend who basically is brainwashed. Please let us not subject beautiful rob to be fed to the nerds of sci fi.
