Me and my co-worker are taking off specifically on November 20th from work and going to the first showing and the second and third. I think we're going to make an evening of it. After seeing Twilight a hundred times on DVD, I realized all the little things you miss on the first showing. I've picked up so many little things and background shots, like Charlie and Sam in his wheelchair play fighting in the background when Bella first talks to Jacob. I will have to see this movie at least five times at the theaters and I've never done that before. I think this movie is going to be Number 1 for the year. There's just too many fans of all ages for it not to be. I like Harry Potter, but I won't see it more than once, same goes to all the other movies coming out. The nonbelievers are going to be very surprised when us Twilight/NewMoon/Eclipse/Breaking dawns fans come out in droves and smash the box office. If they're not sure about making Breaking Dawn, they sure as hell will after they see the numbers we put up.

My work doesn't know it yet, lol, but that's the plan. I think I know more 30 and 40 somethings that are in love with these books and the movies. I'm 39 and am totally entranced with the whole groundbreaking lovestory between Edward and Bella, and it seems as though the rest of the world is too. Edward isn't capable of cheating, of straying from loving Bella, from letting anyone bring harm to her. He's strong, protective, sexy, extremely intense in his feelings, always puts Bella before him, expresses his emotions to Bella with ease, is weatlhy, never going to age, and is gorgeous to boot. And to women everywhere, we know that man only exists in these books and so we are mesmorized by Edward and his love for Bella. It transcends to how we all imagine a magical love would be. Sorry to get off track, but I felt I had to express why I am a proud and loud fan and wil be there when the movie opens.

You are so right about the love story and the man and why these books/movies transcend ages and countries. I think that is why men are so against it, or should I say most men, because they know Edward makes it nearly impossible for them to be a boyfriend/husband but what I tell my husband is we honestly don't expect an Edward (fantasy) but they sure could strive for these things and be very close. Sorry going on and on early in the morning and off to work but just had to get my two cents in first LOL

i agree @ youaremylifenow..i am 26yr old and love these books.. funny thing though...i just graduated with my bachelors in nursing right..and in school; i never read my nursing books..i just glanced over them real quick if i had to..i saw the movie twilight before i got the books.. i am into vampires and fantasy; so ofcourse i was going to see the new vamp movie...it wasnt the greatest movie; but i fell in love in the theater..this lady next to me said; you shouild get the books.. and i am like; "thjey got books?"

i got twilight the book; i was hesitant to read it...when i started; i could not put it down..i was done in a day and half.. i was like WTF?..lol..i went and got all of them...lol..i have re read them all like three times now..the love story is just so beautiful..

in blockbuster yesterday; a 56 yr old woman came to me and was so happy..i had on my twilight shirt and twilight bag..lol..she was like she wants to read it and watch the movie and heard it was good...i told her to go ahead..she was so excited and treating me like a celebrity..she was calling her husband and kids to meet me and let me explain about the saga..LOL..everyone was starring; so embarrising; but at the end of the day; if i can convert one person to joined; then i have done my job..lol

Have you tried to get her into the books? Believe it or not, I got into them with no help from outsiders. I had seen the preview on tv one day but never went to see the movie. Then in Dec, I kept seeing the book in the stores and after seeing it for weeks, I finally bought it. Once I read it, I had to see the movie and on the way to seeing the movie I bought New Moon. BUT, That was after I had odered them ALL online. I ended up kiving my extra copy of New Moon to my neighbor who I had lend Twilight to. In all I think I got 10 people into the series. Including my two sons, ages 24 and 19. They sould pay me for all the PR i've given them. LOL

yeah i've tried :( she is even the kind of person who is ALWAYS reading something, so you think she would at least give them a chance! She went with me to see twilight like the 5th time I saw it after I bored my friends with it (oh that's sad to say out loud) and she said she really liked the movie, but I'm not sure why she won't read the books...hmm now that I think about it, she is probably secretly reading them behind my back LOL!

Well, let her know that the book is better. (as far as Twilight anyway) and that she isn't the oldest one reading the series. 4 of the people I refered tehm two are older than I am and love them.

I watched the movie on pay per view in march cause my step daughter said it was the best movie EVER! Also I saw the t-shirts at walmart and thought i better see what the big deal is. Sooo yeah i then proceeded to read all the books buy the movie and the soundtrack and go on the internet and obsessively look up Rob and other twilight stuff..and now I'm here lol

You know, I believe this movie is the most anticipated film in history. I know for a fact that it's the movie that has brought the most diverse audience. We all now share a common bond.(the twilight saga and their films) I believe the least Summitt could do is to give us a sneak peak! They know darn well we are still going to buy tickets. Heck, I bought three myself and I've only been to maybe 10 movies in my 46 years. I usually wait for them to come out on DVD.

Anyway that is a good point, you could be around people are like the same things as you .... yea I bet it probably would be a good atmosphere AND it would probably make me feel better to see someone more obsessed then me! Make me think Im a little less nuts for being on this site all the time :)

i know what you mean! and its expensive! over the top rediculous! plus you have to room in the sheraton. So you would end up spending way more than its worth. I think i am just going to fly into Los Angeles and go to the Newmoon premire with my grandparents.
