I like what I see so far, but the music in Twilight was what really pulled me into their story and I am worried - it's like the composer has changed so I don't think we will hear the same music and I will definately miss that!!!

This honestly did make me want to cry as cheesy as that sounds. I don't know about anyone else, but New Moon is actually my favorite book because love truly is about sacrifice, and Edward did exactly that. He sacrificed his happiness and love for Bella for her safety. There is nothing more romantic than that.
I really that that it was extremely touching how in this clip... You have to think... They are truly meant for eachother, their love is unlike any other. Bella has suffered and morned over her love being gone for all this time. Could you imagine running toward that person you have longed to see every minute of everyday. The clip just made it seem so much more real. I love seeing new moon come to life.
The kiss is definitely something that I wanted in the book. And it makes me so happy that they put it in there.

i <3 this vid bcuz it has all the pics fast enough that it actually looks like it's happening, & the music sets the mood in a very positive way!!! when i read new moon, i was like, oh-em-gee, there's no freakin' kissing in italy!!!! i mean, they've been away from each other 7 FREAKIN' MONTHS!!! if i was away from the love of my life for 7 months, there would b some MAJOR lip locking going on!!! (i don't know bout u guys, but this is just me) when i first read the book, i really didn't like it, bcuz @ the time, there wasn't going 2 b a movie. but now that there IS going 2 b a movie (& thank God 4 that!!!) i like the book that much more!!!!!!!!!

I think RP looked amazing and I would not be surprised if they did airbrush in to enhance his abs. It is common practice in Movies and as someone mentioned earlier, even in 300, they airburshed the abs to make them look even more defined. Body builders do it all the time with taners and oil to make the abs pop. Those are most definitely Rob's abs, and they added the makeup because Edward is supposed to be pasty white and more like marble so the effects were perfect. Someone also mentioned that his face did not look as described in the book, but I think he looked perfect there too. He looked despondent as if he was ready to die and his eyes look like they had dark circles. Not sure about the contacts, but either way it is going to look amazing.

Regarding the kiss, I think it adds much more drama and it is what this movie needed. SO many people complained about what was lacking in the Twilight movie, and I will NEVER complain about them adding more kissing for Edward and Bella. I think it makes sense, since he thinks he is dead and she thinks they will die. Even if she is afraid he will leave her or that he was felt only guilt, you know when that man kisses her she loses all reason. He kisses her and she can not resist, she is "whole again" and for that moment in time she will take it. We know she snaps out of it long enough to push him out of the light, and she will still be afraid to hope beyond what happened there. I think Chris is doing an amazing job with the movie and we have to trust that he is making it an even better experience.

God, how can anyone be dissappointed about seeing Edward kiss Bella in this scene. Rob and Kristen really gave it everything and it is going to be beautiful.

Ok, this might be a weird question, and totally off subject, but why are Kirstens hands always curled up? I noticed it first in the Twilight movie, and then in several different pics of her on the street and in the making of the movie. Does she have tight tendons in her hands that she cant open her fists the whole way or what? Not that its a problem for me or that I really care, but I was just curious if I was only imagining it.

OMG!! i want to cry! is so beautiful!

The whole time you read Twilight you want Edward and Bella to just make out all over the place, the fact that they don't is what makes it so desperately romantic and tragically wonderful.

New Moon was hard to read because Edward wasn't in most of the book, but again you long for him to be there...as Bella longs for him you physically feel her pain. Him not being there is what draws you into the story. I read Chris Weitz has changed this part of the book so now instead of Bella hearing Edward she will see an apparition of him as well.

Some other changes being made...the scene where Laurent is attacked by the werewolves is now to be a dramatic fight scene and Bella will be taking bigger risks, than depicted in the book, in order to hear Edward. Finally, the most drastic change to the movie from the book is the ENDING. Instead of Edward telling Bella he will make her a vampire only if they marry, he uses a different (undisclosed) bargaining chip.

With all of the above mentioned changes, however minor the changes, I'm afraid Chris Weitz might be comprimising the essence of the story for dramatic effect. Its dramatic already, if you try to make it more dramatic its going to come across as cheesy.

As an complete Twilight Saga fanatic, I truly hope he doesn't screw up this movie because I know I will be seriously dissappointed.

I really love this, but my only problem is robs body (sorry, please dont attack! LOL Im Team Edward, i swear!! LOL) I think he should be more built. Poor Taylor had to become practically another person to get his role back. I know Rob is the cash cow for the movie, i get it, but his arms and upper body are too skinny and flimsy. When someone describes a vampire looking like "a greek god" I imagine someone very chisled. The chest hair bugs me too. Sorry. *ducks from the sharp objects being thrown*

OMG YES!!!! I mean come on Taylor can't win. He was only in the movie for like 5 minutes. He can have his chance next year seeing his part in New Moon is way bigger. Rob deserves it way more than Taylor. (Team Jacob fans don't kill me please) I'm sorry, but I really don't think the screen time that Jacobs part allowed in Twilight could be considered a Breakthrough Performance. Nothing against how Taylor played the part. I'm glad they kept him as Jacob, but he can have his chance next year. This years award should really go to Rob.

I am pretty sure these pics (video) are regarding Alice's vision, because he steps into the sunlight (he's covered with the CGI dots). Then there are other pictures of him without the dots and he's in the shade, I believe that's the scene we see, where Bella slams into him and they quickly duck into the alley way (no kiss).

Wish I would have noticed you said it first I just would have commented on your post. :) I think that is what is going to happen. They are probably going to make it look darker than it is in these pics in editing and Edward won't really be in the sun yet when Bella gets to him because there were alot of scenes in Twilight that were shot in the sun and they added effects to make it look either dark or rainy instead.

I still say if they were airbrushed it was just to enhance them after having put the white makeup on him to make him look pale. You can tell in certain pics that they are real. I think maybe they just needed to enhance them a bit if that is true. I mean look at the rest of his body. He has that oh so sexy V and he has lots of muscle on his arms and back.

In my opinion I don't see how they would look so different in different pics depending on how he was standing. As you move your muscles move with you and are more defined at different angles which is what I see in these pics. If they were airbrushed they would look the same no matter how his body was positioned. Here are a few examples of how his abs look different and seem to move with his movements.

But even if they are slightly airbrushed. What is the big deal. Lots of actors have done it and I don't love Rob because of his abs. I don't really care if they are. I just want him to get some credit for all the working out and training he did for this scene. He really worked hard and I think it shows.

I watched it a billion times and it still wasnt enough. They both look so sexy and great. The kiss was so emotional and really showed the kind of love between Edward and Bella and Rob and Kristen acting was fantastic. I cant wait for the film and the full scene. I cried when i was reading the book and this scene is so good and looks so real that i cried when i was watching it.

You might not be able to see it online, since MTV will only show their videos in America. But Europe has their own MTV, and I'm sure you can find highlights on their site a day after the awards. If not, YouTube is certain to have it.

Bella thinks she will never make it and when she gets to him she jumps and kissing him just is the right thing "visually" to do..I mean maybe they do in the book its not really precise...
i mean the kiss is probably slow motion for the movie (great haha) but it all happens quickly..later on it can be just like in the book Bella not knowing if Edward still wants her..
The point is that on the verge of loosing him she doesn't care...that is what is said in the book...

i absolutely LOVED the kissing scene and when kristen runs up to Rob and jumps in his arms and hugs him. I couldnt have thought of it to be any better. This proves that chris weitz is the best director. I think its also much better than it was in the book. However i was wondering how they'll do the after scene in her bedroom because thats when edward explains to her and then kisses her. so i cant wait to see the rest. anyhow i luved it and Rob and Kristen look so cute together like real Edward and Bella. They make a really good couple.

It is so exciting to see the book coming to life. The book didn't have a kiss in this scene, but it absolutely fits!! I think Chris is doing a great job. I can't wait for the movie to come out. I think that Robert and Kristen are doing a great job as well. They are really bringing the characters of Edward and Bella to life. It is so wonderful! I am on my 3rd way around with the books and I am expecting a lot out of this movie. So far, very impressed!!

I also would like to comment that the music used in this "leak" really fits the scene as well. Its very romantic yet its got excitement behind it. Someone should leak this to Chris for him to use :)

My favourite picture is the one at 41 seconds! It just when shes about to lock with him and make the jigsaw complete when you finally feel hole again for Bella's sake. I love how Kristen just fits perfectly with Rob and how they are so in sync. Even though it isn't in the book i think this is the perfect way to embrace one another after several months apart from the love of your life. It just looks like nothing matters anymore except from each other.

Well, I'm kind of on the fense with this one.... I like this kiss because let's face it those two should just be kissing all the time, its hot! But I dont like the kiss because it wasnt intended to go that way in the book. If we all remember correctly and I can see from reading comments some of you do, Bella still thinks Edward doesnt want her... It was much more fitting for the kiss to happen later once he's professed his love for her once again.... IDK either way I'm sure they'll make it work... Is it just me or has Robert been working out a little since Twilight? I dont remeber his body looking like that before, WOW... Aside from those distractions, didnt seem like enough extras to me and I dont like that every single person there was wearing a red cloak.... the movie looks like its going to be fantastic by all sense of the word. and i do understand that movies need to add in dramaic affects, but they still changed the story line, once again, like the first movie. its actually quite annoying to say the least. there was a reason why stephenie didn't have them kiss in the book, solely for the purpose that bella still believed he didn't want her and love her, therefore she didn't want to show that kind of affection towards him, to hurt herself further. ontop of that, edward was in an alleyway not in the open and he did not actually, go into the sun. in this scene he does, that changes the dynamics with the volturi. and now things in the movie will have to rearanged and made up, to care for their carelessness. i love both the books and movies, but consider them completely different in story lines.
hollywood should take better care when introducing a movie from a book.
once again i love them both, just on different levels. can't wait for november.

I realized some ppl are thinking it looks like he doesn't say that line, however, there is that time when he is just holding her that we cannot tell what is going on. Maybe there are some lines there we cannot see because it is a picture and that is why she kisses him? who knows - it is hard to tell with pictures - or maybe he says it once they are inside - or not because it looks like he kind of gets it that he better get inside or he is dead once they are in the doors - either way i know it is going to be good.

Kristen is more then lucky, she has had to do the kissing take three times! There changing the dialogue around a bit from Bella screaming 'No, don't, Stay out of the light!' Onlookers are also saying that the kiss gets more intimate every take that they do!

I'll admit it, I have never wanted to see a movie more in my life than New Moon in November. Well, that is until I"m waiting for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn to come out. There just isn't anyone that compares to Robert Pattinson. There a lot of good looking men in the world, but that's just it, they get by on their looks or charm. Robert Pattinson just sucks you into his gorgeous looks, his goofy, but adorable laugh, his piercing eyes, his obvious humble nature, he can sing, act, and he has brought Edward Cullen to life for us like no other actor could have done. He's changed us all and there ain't no going back to mediocre or average. I don't know what he put in the water, but I'm thirsty all the time!!!

I never thought I'd be so excited to turn 30, but since my birthday is Nov 21st, I bet you can see why I am! My husband took my to see Twilight last year as my present since it opened on the 21st, this year I'll celebrate a day early!!!!!!! I am so super excited to see how the movie will play out. I've seen these scenes in my head a dozen times from reading the book over and over, I can't hardly wait to see them on the big screen!!!!! Watching that clip has brought tears to my eyes and that giddy butterflies feeling to my stomach with anticipation! Thanks to whomever put that together!

I love this! Absolutely Love IT! However I am a detail picker, so I am going to pick for just a sec. The thing I hate about body doubles is what is or isn't left behind. Don't you think Bella should have some wet footprint and splash marks running toward Edward after she had just ran through the fountain?

i love it too!! but i agree. also i thought the whole point in her running into him is to stop him getting seen in the sunlight, but u can see clearly that the sun is shining off of him..... i wanna see the final thing and see how they do it :)

I have to admited that when I first read New Moon I din't like it at all, but after reading all the books, I read again and it's wonderful.

I love it, but I am confussed. If the point was to keep everyone from seeing Edward in the light yet, why would they have it this way knowing that Bella is suppose to run across the courtyard screaming his name and draw attention to him from everyone. This is beautiful but the alley would have been more believable. People seeing them duck into a building is to odvious. Don't want to piss off any other fans. I'm just wondering how they are going to cover this up.

I agree, I thought to myself when I read this in the book, wheres the kiss, they've been apart for so long, I thought a kiss would really have made the scene in the book so much better. I wake up to this.
I love it, don't get me wrong, but I wish I wouldn't have watched it those 20 times I did and seen it first hand in the movie. I am so hyped about this movie it's insane!!! I think I'm going to start the book again, just to hold me over from checking this page constantly.

This is my opinion. I know that people are arguing over them kissing. But I really like it. That was the part of the book that I really did not understand. The big reunion and them realizing that they are alive and then .... they don't kiss. What? I think that this is a great addition and it shows in these photos. They can still have a big huge great kiss in the bedroom. But why have it in the bedroom? It is so anti-climatic. The huge kiss should be at this moment in the square in front of everyone. Whether it is Melissa or Chris that is responsible for this, great job!

Like so many of you, I have watched this over and over and over again. I think it is wonderful! For those of you that have mentioned that the scene with them kissing is not like the book where there were only words spoken between them....this is very true, however, I will say when I read this passage in the book, I thought to myself; "what!? no kiss?!" I mean they are deeply in love, have been apart for seven months and they weren't going to kiss when they finally found each other again? No! That's just not right. So let my just heartily applaud the choice to alter this scene slightly for the movie and include the kissing. It is so, so much better! :)

I think the added kiss is very nice, although... There were no words during this part of the book because Edward thought it was a dream. He was in a serene state of mind right before his "death" and thought Bella wasn't really there.
I'm sure there will be a million differences between the movie and the book, as there always is, but I'm SO glad for the new director all the same!

I know ..... November just seems like way too far away. I just hope they stick with Edward's ultimatim at the end instead of changing it as the gossip is currently saying they are planning on doing. Could be they are throwing that out there as a red herring, but we won't really know until it comes out. I just wish they were releasing the movie it sooner, but at least the first trailer should be good and that's really only a handful of hours away, (that's how I like to think of it anyway). :D

isnt edward meant to be in like an alleyway of somesort when he tries to 'reveal' himself aswell in these photos he is in the sun and then bella gets to him whereas i swear he is in the shadows ABOUT to step into the sunlight and then bella stops him. also from where they are where does jane and all them have ther heated short dispute about going to aro and stuff. iuno it seems heaps different to what i imagined it would be like

I agree, It is SOO much better with the kiss. Since it is a movie, the viewers need to see the longing they had to see each other again, and even though this kiss isn't in the book, it is PERFECT. Really great. I'm a stickler on keeping the movies exactly like the book, but for this time, I think it was a GREAT idea to do that. This has given me confidence that Chris is gonna do an AMAZING job on this movie! I am SO excited :D

I imagine it would be very difficult to convey what is in Bella's mind as she is running through the square as it is written in the book in the first person. I think this version with the visuals of each of their facial expressions and the final confrontation ending in a kiss really says everything. The naked emotion that is expressed allows us to really feel what they are feeling. I really loved it. :)

she wasnt expecting a big reunion
she still thought he didnt want her

However, if you remember in the book, all of her pain of the last seven months retreated when she saw him. That when he held her she felt whole as if the wounding to her heart had never occurred. She would kiss him because she loved him, not because he may or may not want her. Definitely a spur of the moment thing with high emotions and danger, but also because it is a culmination of her feelings for him. He brought her back to life. That's not to say that her insecurities regarding him wouldn't return after the kiss, they more than likely would or will, whichever the case may be. :)

Agree completely! We need a kiss! Its a very climatic moment! By the way we are going to BAWL when this happens on screen anyway with or without a kiss. But a kiss will just seal the deal that they are back together and Jacob has been removed (no offense Jacob lovers). But by this point we know what her heart wants, even when she doesnt.

He just kept kissing the top of her head at one point i think. So, thank God they did it on screen. At very minimum, we should get some major lip locking.............and they are really going for it. They are not going to be able to make it rated R. I wish they could to do the book justice, but Stephanie Meyer will not watch Rated R movies. I figure the only way we are going to get the raunchier stuff is if the Twilight Saga was made into an HBO type cable tv series like Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse novels turned into 'True Blood.' That series is surely for mature audiences only. Unfortunately, us Twilight fans will never get this as we know that S Meyer wrote Twilight et al with teenagers in mind....what with the abstinence until marriage theme in blinding Broadway lights! oh well, we can always turn to bad a** Edward and all those cookies!!

i wish they would make it rated r but i already heard off record that it won't be. The stupid movie industry really only cares about one thing....making lots and lots of money. They aren't going to cut out most of their audience (the teens) because it would affect their gross. And even though SM sold the rights she still has her hands in there. I am glad they respect her input but at the same time her PG 13 crap pisses me off. The bedroom kiss in twilight was totally toned down because of her. oh yea.....she had sex all right. AFTER SHE GOT MARRIED!! Don't even get me started on LDS hypocrisy.....AS far as BD i want to see more than feathers. I would definitely not be okay w/ just feathers when I waited through four books to see everything consumated. I think HOLLYWOOD is very well aware that we need more than feathers. She sold her damn rights now let them play out the sex stuff how they want. After all, they are finally married. You are allowed to get dirty w/ your hubby, right Steph??? and they better not leave out the vampire sex scene....where they are at their new house and don't even make it to the bed. That's the only thing that disappointed me about BD a bit. Even though they are finally together they are not together together (in jess's voice-ha ha) all that much. There is so much 'drama' in that one that i felt like some of the passion was missing. I mean you know it's there I would have just like to have seen more. I would have liked one big sex scene for the finale...sigh. That's why Eclsipe is one of my faves. The sexual tension in that book was more than i c ould take. I've read it a million x though!!

It's not just that the kissing scene in Twilght was "innappropriate." If they were to make it ny more steamy and intense, it would go angainst the book in so many ways. We shouldbe thakfu that we even got an intense kiss in Twilight because technically Edward controls himself because he's afraid of hurting Bella. But in the books, all thos times when Bella would be kissing Edward and she was almost to a makig out oint, then Edwad restrained her, I WAS SO ANNOYED BECAUSE I WANTED MORE LOL

I agree with both you guys completely i mean there are so many of us that want NM to be rated R i think they should because in the book it details what happens in the BD and when Bella is a vampire, they don't just say "then Bella was a vampire" i think they need to put the detailed stuff on there so we know how the transformation was done and what it looked like on screen!

Well I have heard that they are making BD into two movies to get all the important stuff in there. I think that the end of the 1st BD movie should be after Bella's transformation and the screen goes black and then it is a close up of her eyes opening and they are blood red. I think that would be intense.

I totally agree with you Nonni! Althought the suspense of not having the kiss in the book was killing me. It allowed us to see in Bella's head how she was doubting whether or not He still wanted her. She was so scared the whole time in Italy like that was going to be it after they get home, that he would leave again and never come back.
With that said, I am extremely excited to see the kiss happen in this place because it makes me happy and I know everyone else will be satisfied. This slideshow is beautiful and I know that we are all craving some New Moon footage that is why this article has sooo many hits...so Stephanie...if you are reading this...can we up the date please?? hehe*

Thanks! I think they can still create the uncertainty of what will happen in the future, and Bella's insecurity of whether Edward will remain with her or not. I see this scene as the reunion where emotions and danger are running very high, where a kiss between them is a very natural occurence. It's afterward that all the vulnerabilties and insecurities can set back in. At least those are my thoughts anyway. :)

I couldn't get to sleep last night after watching this video. So real and SO what I had imagined! I'm still smiling and excited! How perfect they look! Rob's time in the gym was perfect! This was all I ever wanted to see in the movie so I am happy and satisfied! I can peacefully wait until November now.

I wouldd rather this part of the movie be kept true to the book -- Edward and Bella DO NOT kiss until they are back in Forks in her bedroom. I really liked the uncertainty between them while they tried to fumble around what the other wanted. This just seems so rushed.

I agree, after all in the book she thinks he was doing this because he felt guilty, she thought he was leaving her again as soon as they were out of Italy.

i see what u mean.; but it would be too boring on screen..it translates well in the book because it took a lot of pages to get to that final scene and all of our emotions were already built in it and when they do meet at last in the book; we do not want them just kissing right away....where as on screen; u gotta have action and also u trying to have a climatic scene to make the audience go WOW!!!! the movie's like what; 2 hours long; and u are actually trying to show a tense and emotional scene that took 500 pages to built up to it in a matter of few minutes to wow the audience...most times; things from the book do not translate well on screen though..

i love this scene so much./..its not like the book; but kstew and rob brought out all the emotions that are in the book to life so beautifully...i mean this scene is intense and u can see every emotion possible displayed on robs face and in their body movements and how he's holding her...o gosh..its great.. i wouldn't have agree; but i was'nt complaining; and i saw this and was like yes, CW nail it..i really hope he directs BD.... also; i like edwards pants..lol..because he was in a depressive state why away from bella and it shows in his clothes; shoes and everything

One of the extras has been "tweeting" (as in on Twitter) about how things are going. She says they did several takes b/c every time Rob would take his shirt off the extras would go wild and it ruined the "all quiet on the set"

you can tell from the different pics that is was done a couple of times because in some of the pics u can see cameras behind edward and some u dont. also when she is running through the square you see cameras and in some u dont. so i am assuming it took a few times,

Pretty sure they got it in one take. Kristen probably invited Rob over to her room and practiced it for a while... oh wait that's what I would have done... if she's smart she would have savored it and tried to get them to do a few takes ;)

its in life style week the june one. where i read that they have called it quits kristen and michael. and that michael only went to BC in the hopes that he can patch things up with her. but it did nothing but push her closer to rob. (their words not mine just saying what i have read in a twilight saga exclusive.) and that the dirctor of twilight had asked him if he want to be apart of twilight, but said no cause it would be to close to home losing her to edward. and now the nightmare happen. so june's life style week and theres alittle detail on the website too. anywho thats where i got my info. and plus rob and kristen have both kissed each other off camera in a bar in BC, and they have been seen being (relationship close).... :P

I see what you mean...but I feel it still works. Edward thinks he's dead, it's a natural response to when Bella jumps in his arm's...he thinks he's in heaven with her. I think the uncertainty of their relationship will still hang in the balance while dealing with the Volturi & the plane ride home. It will only be after he explains to her (in her bedroom) of why he left and that he truly does love her, that all will be revealed, with what I would assume would be a much more intimate kiss......followed by the " running" trip to his house & the " vote"......which I REALLY cannot wait to see.

Yes I read the "thing" we're forbidden to talk about... Unless they changed it; it doesn't have the proposal.. Total rip off!!! The discussion they had after the vote leads us to where Bella is during 80% of Eclipse.. Very very sad if they don't change it.. shakes head.. I've said this before, I've seen other books that have been made to big screen movies and Twilight was a big disappointment... If New Moon isn't any better, I'll wait for the DVD from that point forward.

Twilight was a dissapointment. They missed SO many things, I felt like crying. But if New Moon is bad, I still will have to see the next movies in theaters lol

WHAAAAT !!! I guess you're entitled to your take on it, but I thought it was wonderfully done. The characters couldn't have fit any better, and the story was sweet-reminiscent of an olden day romance. Kind of like Jane Eyre and that type of story. But everyone has their opinion. I understand what you are saying. Twilight was a good movie, but if you look at it and how it went with the book, it was a dissapointment, in my view. Just some things that make Twilight so wonderful were left out. Did you notice that they NEVER once said "I love you"? Jasper's vampire power wasn't even revealed. Carlisle's history and past was never told. Alice's past was never told. Bella's homecooked meals were missing lol. It just seemed that the movie went too fast and it was all crammed in sloppily. I think they should've made the movie longer. It seems as if Edward and Bella fell in love waaayyy too fast, like they barely even knew each other in the movie. I know that book adaptions aren't going to be the same, but I feel as if they missed really big things that should've been there. But instead of dwelling on the past, of course there were things that I loved. THE ACTORS WERE FANTASTIC! Everyone played the part perfectly. The humans were funnnnnyyyyy! I loved Eric :) The baseball scene was one of my favorite scenes. And I loved how they added some extra nomad vamps scenes. Those are just some of the good and bad things of Twilight. And I just wished that Summit would've realized the popularity of Twilight so they could have come up with a bigger budget. The extra money maybe could have made the movie a little bit longer. I feel that 2 hours were not enough time for a 500 page book. And one of the most important things that I've realized was that Twilight is such an amazing book because you can really get into it, and it's very personal. It's a first-person perspective. You really get to see what's going on. And I realized that it's much harder to adapt a first-person book on screen because you can't bring in all the details and memorable thoughts of Bella. Do you understand what I'm saying? But if I watch Twilight just for the joy of it and just push aside all the things they missed, I love the movie. hahaha sorry for writing such a long reply, but I felt that I need to share this lol. I totally understand what you're saying Mrs Ariana Edward Cullen. But for the budget they had,I thought they did a great job. I don't think they thought it would be so big. But I bet New Moon will be a real treat. I think some things could have been done differently in a few places. But it's hard to put all you need to in a movie because they put a time element in it. Good. I think the vote is a big moment for her. Makes her realize she's a part of the family. Stephanie M. said that he rips a flatscreen in half in the other room after the vote. I totally agree with you here! I don't think this kiss was intended to 'rush' the emotional part of the reunion but rather a natural thing to happen between 2 lovers after being apart for 7 long months. Reality kicks in after the kiss though.

i will say it again; as much as i love stephanie meyer; i thought in twilight her writting was ok; eclispe and BD; she's definatelly gotten better....i do feel that some of the stuff she writes are kinda unrealistic...i mean come on people; bella wants edward; he wants her; its an intense relationship...now picture them being away for months and he call and he thinks she's dead; then he see's her coming to save him; the only natural thing to do would be to kiss passionately...then after that kiss; they can discuss if and where their relationship is going or if they have one still...to me it makes much sense and it's more realistic...

couldn't have said it better myself. I know the kiss isn't in the book but that was one thing i hated about that part of the book. Even if you had no idea what the other was wanting realtionship wise you would still want to wrap your arms around them and kiss them.......regardless of where their relationship goes the cruxt of the issue was they were still going to love each other forever. i actually like it that they dont say i love you in the movie... they are both very deep intense people, very mature, they say i love you in ways that may be too deep for some to understand, saying i love you at this point would be cheesy and almost juvenile .. i think its genius. i'm 25 so SAYING i love you is over rated in my opinion, anyone can say i love you, feeling it from someone else is way more intense! :)

It's funny bcuz when I read the books i thought a lot of the lines like this were a little cheesy.........I mean who talks like that????? Then when you see Pattz deliver them the words just take on a whole new meaning. They don't feel cheesy. He really makes you feel like he feels it right down to his core. Even as something as simple as his, "so are you enjoying the weather?" would normally sound like a cheesy pickup artist line but his body language, and his eyes, and his voice (even his voice invites u in-ha ha) gives 'words' a whole different meaning. The guy drives me nuts, in a good way,................can't take it!! I know Rpattz/Kstew have been quoted as saying our obsession w/ it is crazy (something to that effect). Well, it's his fault. he's too damn good!

I KNOW I AM GOING TO GET hate mail for this but I actually think she's not a good writer but it's her creativity that sucks you in. Usually w/ creativity you get superb writing but not so much w/ her. Very weird feeling........she's a terrible writer but I love the creativity-one of those love/hate relationships

I totally agree with you. People at work are already looking at me funny because every sentence that comes out of my mouth as a response to whatever they're saying or asking is somehow a quote from the book. I am totally obsessed! I've always been an reader, but after I've read the 4 Twilight books,. I feel that I can't read another book that would give me as much intensity as these ones. I am not embarrassed to say that I've read all 4 for the 4th time now, including the Midnight Sun. And RP really captured the emotions of Edward.

LOL Seems like I'm quoting the books at least four or five times a day and the amusing part for me is that they don't even know it...I seem to be 'going a little bit nuts' as Rob would say. Watching this just confirms for me that Chris Wietz was an excellent choice. New Moon is going to be 100 times better than Twilight ever could be and I am SO incredibly excited for November to get here! No word's are needed for this scene, just look at the raw emotion on Edward's face....Bella frantically running to him.........the embrace.....the kiss.................oh god, where's my Kleenex!

Yes! Yes! CW back for BD. I'm wondering if that is their plan. I totally understand why he couldn't do Eclipse since they are filming them so close together. But we need Chris so all the special effects regarding the vamps, the birth scene, and adorable little Renesme will be done right. I know the Special Effects are his "thing" but it really seems that he is doing a bang-up job in EVERY aspect of New Moon! Last thing left: the soundtrack. If he can convince Rob to sing at least once on it .... everything will be perfect!

Ok, I felt like a total idiot for crying over this video. But now that I have read some of you guys's comments I'm glad I'm not alone. Now im so scared about the new director for eclipse...Chriz is doing a great job here...Why he can't stay for the next movie too...eclipse is so important...now im so concern because i can see that chriz knows what he is doing...these movies are so important for all of us (the fans)...the only good think that catherine did right was the casting thing...the first movie has so much potential...so many things could have been done so much better...maybe they can do it again...i will watch it.

HEY!! Wow, I'm touched you noticed I hadn't been writing comments! I went on vacation for Memorial Day and of course I kept up with NMM but didn't have much time to leave comments. I did miss one day without looking at the website and I had to go back like 3 pages to catch up!

You are the VERY person I thought of when I saw this clip had been posted because we were JUST discussing it! And I gotta tell ya, I'm BLOWN AWAY!!! It's EVERYTHING I hoped it would be and MORE! I just finished reading NM again and that part has a whole new visual for me know its awesome! Chris Weitz is GENIUS for adding a kiss there its PHENOMENAL!!! I wish I could see the look on Catherine Hardwicke's face when she goes to see NM, I imagine her going "OOOOOH, THAT is how it's suppose to be" LOL

I know! I am so glad that CW added the kiss. I realize it's not exactly how Steph wrote it but I think it works. I can't wait to see the final product! I think Catherine is going to be sad when she sees NM. She was offered a chance (thank GOD she didn't take it) and said there wasn't enough time. Now look at Chris busting it out and doing such a much better job. Even the actors have made comments in interviews how it's going to be a better film. She must feel pretty small. I feel bad for her but those are the breaks. This is the Twilight Saga and it needs to be done right!

Two hopes left:
1. Rob is included on the soundtrack. I know you feel the same way because you love his music/voice just as much as I do.
2. Chris is back to direct Breaking Dawn. I get why he couldn't do Eclipse due to the time factor. But NM will be out by the time BD starts filming....

I see all that CW is doing and seeing how amazing things look and I just can't help but wonder why she and Melissa R felt they had to stray that from the book. I want to know WHY they felt like they needed to bring James and other vamps in early and create that ridiculous storyline. All the while taking out/changing some of the best parts of the book!

It's just incredible how different the actors seem to be now concerning their roles. I've read those comments they've made about the film and it makes me wonder if, while they were filming Twilight (since they had all read the book) if they sometimes questioned the way CH was going with certain scenes?? I know that if I had been placed in one of those roles (because i'm VERY opinionated) I would have been like CUT CUT CUT, that is NOT they way it's suppose to be HAHAHAHA!!! guess that's why I'm not an actress.

Ya know what, I think they should employ several Die hard Twihards to stay on set and make sure they get things right. :)

I like this a lot, but I just feel like its completely different from the book...it's supposed to be painful because it is supposed to show Bella's belief that Edward doesn't want her in the same way, and this just seems to take that part of the story away.
But it still looks good and hopefully the emotion will come across differently when it comes to the screen for real.

I noticed it as well ;) I think they decided to add a kiss,because people wouldn't know why it didn't happen-it's natural reaction. It's more cinematic this way. I guess there is no time&good way to explain in the movie that she still feels unwanted, because it's all in going in her head. Maybe in the movie Bella is not only more of a daredevil, but also more extreme when it's about taking pain in order to have this moment with Edward. In the book one of the reasons why she didn't kiss him in Italy was that she had thought she'd have to suffer enough even without the kiss when it's all done and she leaves her again. In the process of filmmaking you need to simplify some things. I hope they didn't cut out too much of a bedroom scene after Italy,it would explain that she still believes he doesn't love her and think it was all just a terrifying but also beautiful dream.

I was wondering the same thing...I thought that even though Bella was going to Italy to save Edward, that she was still under the impression that he did not want to be with her. And in the book she was holding onto him for dear life, even though she was freezing and wet, teeth chattering, etc., and she didn't want to let go of holding him because she thought that was her only chance to be close to him again. So maybe they just kinda combined the part where he tells her he still loves her with this initial reunion part to make it more entertaining for the people watching, especially the people who have not read the books. Having them kiss is more "hollywood", you know? I think it's going to be pretty cool, actually, to have them kiss.

Yeah I think there will be a lot of differences once it is on the screen. all we have is the pics but we havent seen what Kristen,Rob and Taylor have given this yet. I have the feeling this will be phenominal. Different, yeah, but it will be incredible. I think they'll capture it well. If they don't they'll be in deep doodoo cuz we wont go to eclipse. :) I think after weitz single handedly destroyed the golden compass he's got a lot to make up for. He jacks this up some crazed twihard is gonna shave his flowing locks off and glue them to his armpits.

They really did it with this one! The intensity, love and passion of the reunion is just amazing here. I'm almost speechless with this scene. Rob and Kristen absolutely nailed it. They have such amazing chemistry. It is really coming out in New Moon. I am soooo excited!

Okay everyone, after constantly checking this site all afternoon, I think I'm spent! My co-worker, my student worker and I all screamed at the same time when we saw the pictures this afternoon, and the rest of the afternoon was shot. We did nothing but constatnly look at Rob's pictures. Rob has got to be the most beautiful man I have ever seen with Taylor coming in second! This is very hard for me to admit, since I'm old enough to be Rob's andTaylor's mom, but hey I'm sitll a woman.

Totally agree with the most "beautiful man" comment, but I would have to place Taylor 1st and Rob 2nd (just personal preference because I love tall, dark and handsome and have a thing for Native Americans, especially!)
Just because I could be their mom, doesn't mean God made me blind to his beautiful creations.
This movie is going to be ABSOLUTELY fabulous, and this scene is going to go down in history as one of the most romantic (if not THE most romantic) scenes every on the big screen!

Oh yeah I am really proud of him too!! He is such an awesome person in every way possible!! He has the best personality ever, is an amazing actor and musician and is so sweet and innocent yet has that bad boy edge and is completely sexy.

Ok - this is the Edward I had envisioned. Not as skinny as he was in Twilight. He is more buffed here. Do you guys see the 6-pack? He has been working hard on this -- you can tell. And he looks so much better with the little bit of weight and the muscles. Much more believable that he has the strength and speed that Stephanie describes in her book. Much much more believable. I now have no doubts that New Moon will meet expectations. Thank you Chris Weitz!!!!

It is basically just the pictures but someone has put them all in sequence so you see the scene. I still see it as being a big spoiler because add the dialogue and you have the whole scene.

I know I was screaming out for for pack footage but part of me is glad that I will see it in the final film in November rather than snippets like this. I think one shirtless edward pictures would have sufficed the nation but for me this was too much...I would have liked some surprise when I watch the the film

TSH...I am kinda hoping that the MYV sneak peek is of the Wolf Pack. NOT what they look like after they phase, but just maybe a scene where they are all standing there shirtless. Oh my, It's getting hot in here just thinking about it! They can't show anything with Edward/Bella, because it seems like almost all of that has already been leaked, so it wouldn't really be anything new. The MTV footage has gotta be Jake and the Pack, don't you think?

I keep watching this over and over and I have to say just by Robs facial expressions I can tell he really connected with Edward more this time around, like on a deeper level. He did say in an interview he was allowed to do more as far as Edwards character this time. I dont know he just really looks like he is into Edwards pain.

Yes, i totally agree.... he seems much more "Edward" this time around... so much more that i'm in tears by this video - just so emotional, both by rob's performance AND Kristen's.
