Kellan Lutz, also known as Emmett Cullen to fans, compares the process of creating Twilight to New Moon and seems to think New Moon is progressing extremely smoothly–

Nothing on New Moon has been crazy. For the actors it has been easy. We got to try new things with our characters which was great. I have to say that I like the New Moon screenplay better than Twilight. And it was really cool to see how Rob was incorporated into the screenplay.
