Jimmy Kimmel had a short spoof on the New Moon trailer that was released at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.  The comedy is not quite a side splitter, but still it’s pretty neat that New Moon is gathering so much attention on mainstream late night television!

A fan has a journal up that you can read to find out about what it was like to work on the set of New Moon in Italy. Not surprisingly, Rob without a shirt caused quite a stir–

The fans were really out of control and some of them broke down in tears after seeing him walk around shirtless! In fact, sometimes the hysteria caused a lot of trouble for the filmmakers during the day. There were times where they’d line up the lighting and actors, start rolling, call action…and no sooner had Kristen begun to run towards Robert, they’d shout “Stop!” Then they’d begin yelling at us through the speaker in Italian to look at the door, because so many people had been staring at Rob. We had all been told to keep our hoods up and our cloaks closed, and to look only at the church—not what was happening between Rob and Kristen.

Michael Sheen, who plays Volturi leader Aro in New Moon, was interviewed by Empire Magazine, and he chats a bit about what it was like to work on the set of the movie–

“It was quite intimidating being on the set with so many young, beautiful people. That was quite extraordinary being the old, ugly one amongst loads of young, beautiful ones. It’s not something I’m used to really. Not because I’m young and beautiful but usually there’s loads of old, ugly people around me. It was quite encouraging to see how Robert and Kristin are committed to it, how much they put into it and how serious they are about it. They don’t take it lightly at all so that was great to see.”

New Moon star Taylor Lautner may have a new movie in the works if his meeting with writer/producer/director Garry Marshall–the talent behind Pretty Woman and Beaches–is any indication. The NY Post points out that Marshall has three likely films in the works–

Potential Film #1: “Valentine’s Day”  I’m assuming Taylor is in talks to play Anne’s mail room assistant boyfriend since she’s the most age-appropriate on-screen lovah.

Potential Film #2 — “Dear Eleanor”  Taylor could play one of the vaudeville performers, or any other assorted potential love interest for either of the ladies.

Potential Film #3 — “There Goes the Neighborhood” Taylor could play one of the creepy kids, whose smiley exterior masks a much more insidious agenda. The riskiest role of the three, but the gamble could pay off in a big way if it shows Hollywood he’s more than a pretty face.
