Bella's Birthday Cake New Moon

The trailer has only been out a few days, but a New Moon fan went through the trouble of recreating the cake that the Cullens make for Bella’s Birthday as shown in the trailer. NMM.org reader Kaye threw the party for her sister, and she says–

The party I threw last night for her was just about identical to Bella’s birthday party in the New Moon trailer. There were 101 candles, 6 dozen roses and an identical cake to the one that is in the New Moon trailer. I even had plastic vampire teeth as party favors. It was incredible!

    OMG!!!! i would have bawled my face off if my sister would have done that for my birthday!!!! that is sooo cool! I love when people do custom cakes like that and they aren't just a flat rectangle sheet cake!! it looks so good, this reminds me of that Ace of Cakes show on Food Network :) and all the candles.... so pretty!!

    Actually, I think it was a sweet gesture. I don't think I'd have the inclination to make a cake quite like that, but it's a nice thing for someone to go to the trouble for a family member who loves the series.

    Agreed. Thats a great deal of effort, very sweet. Its the thought that counts, but when you add all that work to it...really sweetens the deal. Shows how much she cares. Anyone can pick out a card or a premade store bought cake. But to go out of your way for someone, to do something they would really love, makes it more rewarding for both parties involved.

    Great job Kaye! Altho' I'm sure you've ruined the night for many hubbies, as they'll suddenly be receiving demands from their wives on how to handle their upcoming birthdays LOL!

    Alice put little glass bowls of pink flowers and the cake was pink too. whatever, as long as they get all of the important details in the movie then i dont mind the cake
