Oh my goodness Italy was Incredible! We did a long tour of Southern France,
Italy, and Croatia. Went all pretty much all over. In Italy we stayed in
San Gimignano, Volterra (before the Twilight buzz - I was blown away when
reading New Moon and thinking I've been there!), Rome, Naples, Positano,
Sorrento, visited Pompeii (I LOVE the Amalfi Coast), Sicily as I said, and
Venice. Of course there is still so much to see (Milan, Pisa, Firenze, etc.
etc. etc. so we must go back as soon as possible.) Love your country!

Wow you did see quite a good chunk of it I'm impressed. I get laughed at these days when I go back it takes me a couple of days to get back into my own language and I make mistakes, it is funny what I come up with. lol

I managed to do an extensive tour before moving here, I wanted to know my own country before getting to know another, then went back for more a couple of years later.
I loved Ercolano and Pompei. Riding on a bus on the amalfi coast road scared me witless. I loved Sicily the people the heat, the many contradictions. I was born just outside Milan some of my relatives still live there, a lot of my friends too, the city that never sleeps. Pisa is cute if you ever go let me know there is a restaurant you absolutely have to try. Firenze e Venezia are two of my favourite cities in the world. I could spend hours staring at David and the birth of Venus. I love it when people go to Italy because I get a chance to tell them about stuff that may not be in the travel books ;-)
