I don't really understand why people hate the haircut so much. She did it for this role, specifically. It's not like an "everyday" haircut. She's supposed to have a mullet-y type cut for this movie. It's supposed to be black.

I love her haircut. I think she looks great with Bella hair or Joan hair. She ROCKS :) In a way I just wish she quit the smoking >.<, but again it's her life, so if it makes her happy I'm happy for her.

at first i was so iffy on her haircut because it was such a change, but as time has gone on and i've seen more pics of her and have learned about how absolutely passionate she is about this role and especially now seeing her with joan jett, i really have to commend kristen because i truly admire the dedication she is putting into this role. everyday we see her out all day at the studios recording and rehearsing and i just think it's awesome. i hope that she will be in hollywood for years and years to come because i find her talent and commitment refreshing in a hollywood society that is more about fakeness and ridiculousness (ie. paris hilton, lindsay lohan, britney spears). kristen is a complete breath of fresh air and i will continue to support her (and rob) throughout their careers.

I completely agree. I'm not an old fogie but I'm not a rebellious teenager either. And I find it refreshing to see a young adult working and keeping out of the Lindsey Lohan Limelight of the typical celebrity teenager with their morale-lacking extra curricular activities.

I'll be honest in saying that KStew was a little too serious for Twilight, but I've seen nearly all of her movies and she's more than perfect for the seriousness and melancholy of New Moon; I'm excited to see her in this "Sad Bella" role.

But beyond the realms of Twilight and New Moon, it's extremely gratifying to see a young actress her age be a responsible, intelligent, working adult, focused on her career. So she smokes... Bah. At least she's not out partying with the Olsen twins and Britney Spears with her panties hanging out as she gets out of a limo.

It's a very good story, sad- because he's just this adorable young man who is so lost, and his parents are awful, never showed him any love-he's trying to be a singer/songwriter and he's not very good-his friends are losers, but they're all he's got-but in the end, he learns to just "how to be" himself. Sweet, lovable story-and when he cries, omg, made me cry too...

Yea, they did. The director had to keep telling him he was playing or singing too good-so he had to "unlearn" and play and sing bad. Yes, he cries, broke my heart-the movie also shows his comedic side-he's very funny. But it's total British humor and not everyone likes that, so I can see where people might not get it. Hes got the worst haircut in the world too-but his beauty still shines through.
And Little Ashes, OMG-hot-he cries in that too-kills me every time...

I bought How To Be through Amazon.com/uk. Personally, I love the movie-he is adorable in it and really pulls at the heart strings. I saw Little Ashes in the theater, and he blew me away-he's such a gifted actor.

i really wanna see little ashes, it's just like a different, really wierd role, and it intrigues me.


and he is a really good actor, i don't know if everyone sees that though. they just say he's the best looking man in the world, "that edward cullen guy is so hot", etc. but, he puts so much effort into his characters, and it always, always pays off. i want to see how many different characters he'll play throughout his life.

He's hot even when he plays crazy or geeky-he's just got it and it can not be hidden. Hope you enjoy them-they are both great movies-and very different.
There's also the Haunted Airman-he's great in that as well...

It's called "in character". I hate to play the age card, but clearly you have no idea who Joan Jett is and the influence she had on the very music you listen to today. Not to mention that if you had seen any movie besides Twilight, Mean Girls, and High School Musical, you would know that what is in style today will not be the same as the next decade and that, likewise, Joan Jett was an eff*ing hottie in her day. So go get a Taco Bell burrito and try to think outside of the box.

She smokes Camel lights, but she has been seen smoking different kinds. I saw the Camel Frost, Parliments (spelling old brand??) and then the loose kind. I smoke but have never switched brands? Camel's are strong, I am going to try them out b/c they always have specials on them. Totally random but so much talk of her cigs ya know.

I'm a fan of hers too. Have you ever seen the messengers? I was always creeped out by those kind of movies but I actually liked that one. I don't know if it's because it actually had a story to it or what, but anyways, I liked it.
