I have the "Bella Bag"....that's what I bought. I adore this bag. The designer is a fantastic artist and super sweet seller out on etsy and the story behind the bag and the artist's success makes me love my bag even more. I won't ever buy commercialized crap that follows a movie.....BUT I will hunt down clothing, jewelry and even set pieces if they call out "find me....buy me". <3

Not in a million years would I buy any of the merchandise other than the books and the dvd but then I am far from the targeted demographic. Ive noticed a lot of the girls at the school I teach at are now wearing the saints bracelets that Bella wears in the movie. It makes me laugh every time I see it.
Another thing of interest is that my sister's married name is Cullen (no joke!) and she's due to have a baby boy in August. Name suggestions anyone? Edward..... Jasper.... Emmett .... Carlisle?!

Yeah she is lucky. I got her to read the books just this year and she loved them of course. She has confided the baby's name to me and I can probably tell people here and it will still be a surprise for rest of the family and friends. They are going with Casper.

I think one piece of information that has been forgotten is the books were intended for an adult woman to read. I remember purchasing my Twilight and New Moon book in the adult section; then when Eclipse was released it had moved to the young adult section.

I mean if my 28 year old brother likes reading the books then Summit along with everyone else should realize the audience consists of a vast age range. The cash cow as Effing said has been loaded and won't stop until after BD.

I love the cuts of this vid, showing their little "in love" moments together ... i mean it's understandable many of us believed in them as a couple, it showed in many ways. Their little moments speaks loudly to us ... the way they looked at each other, kristen looking at him ... touching him (when they are not acting)... i truly believe they fell in love, they just couldn't help it, i think it's not just because they made this movie together, it's because they are very similar in many ways, it really felt like they had met their soulmates. As for Michael, I feel sorry for him, despite of everything, even with no rob in Kristen's life, I doubt that relationship will last. I feel their relationship (mike and kris) was basically just friendship that got turned into a relationship, it had no real passion. Of course, all these are just basically my opinion and deductions. LOL:

Yeah.. two years in NC (elementary ed). I just moved to MD due to hubby's work relocation so I am currently acquiring my licensure here while also pursuing a masters. I miss my kids though in NC. I have been reading the books for over two years and when the movie appeared, the students began to reveal interest. I have had parents ask me about the books which I am cautious in my opinion of a 10 or 11 year old reading BD.

I teach in KY and bought the Twilight Magazine and told the clerk it was for my students.... yea right

I watch some of the movie last night and it is like really awkard to wactch because we know what he is like now.

I, personally, do not believe in the cash cow industry. Also known as promotional items (posters, calenders, t-shirts... other miscellaneous crap)
I do not support my favourite bands/musical geniuses. I do not support my favourite movies... nor would I support my favourite book.

I do believe that this is just a bunch of people capitalizing on the fact that children have access to credit cards.
Half the items have old pictures. The other half are pointless.
The shipping costs are most likely atrocious (profit), and they probably tax you on "extra shipping insurance".

The only thing I would EVER buy Twilight series (besides the original books, and the movies (not the new edition "special edition" movie books. Blah)) would be a keychain stating "What a stupid lamb." with a design of a lamb. I would not pay more than $2 for this item.

I mean seriously, who needs EDWARD CULLEN SPARKLES.. I'll go to the dollar store, thank you.

Most of these items are around to get the attention of young girls who have access to credit cards. They have no purpose and no money actually goes towards the Twilight series (unlike with promotional items for bands).
