I would be so happy if NM featured a flashback to part of the meadow scene – only not part of the scene from Twilight, but a scene shot fresh for NM that's more true to the book. Not saying they should redo the part from Twilight, but maybe they could shoot a little quality clip as a, say, companion to the crap CH made. That would make me smile.

I'll wait until I see NM before I get on this bandwagon, but, judging from what I've seen and heard so far, it seems like he'd provide the necessary counter to the super fanficky elements of BD. I hope whoever directs it is able to depict Renesmee as something other than a Mary Sue with fangs!

Seriously. Most of them were just manifestations of CH's fangirlness. She wasted time making a scene in which Bella allows Edward to taste her blood, when she must have known it would render the the venom-sucking scene totally undramatic.

I guess she just wanted something else to swoon and giggle over.

Does it bother anyone else that she seems incapable of sitting still?

Oh man, me too.

“You're like my own personal brand of heroin!!!!” or whatever the F he says. See, in the book, that was joking statement meant to lighten the mood. In the movie it was like, “EMOEMOEMO!” and that just didn't work. Yeah Catherine, have them be all super serious with THAT dialogue. That won't be unintentionally hilarious AT ALL.

Vampgirl, count me in on that band wagon, Chris is one of the best things that could have happened to this series, he should direct BD, at least then there might be some hope it gets the detail it needs!
CW has so much more taste when it comes to special effects, thank god he thought to get rid of the sparklying sound, i mean since when did edward jingle when she sparkels? LOL

i couldn't agree more. Catherine was a bit vague in what she wanted and that comes across in the movie. Chris is so focused and i think this movie will be much better than Twilight, even though I prefered the Twilight book to New Moon.
