Do you really have to scream and cry whan you watch the trailer? What will you do when you see the whole movie? I understand why the cast is affraid of those fans.
I loved the reaction of one boy who noticed Jasper's hair. The most normal reaction, similar to mine. I remember not breathing the entire 2min I watched the trailer for the first time and my wide eyes. And a long WOOOOW at the end. :)

Not to mention.. if they act like that in the theater they're going to piss of a lot of people who are trying to watch it like a normal human! I would be beyond irritated if people just screamed and cried loudly in the movie.

The best thing is to wait a week, as hard as it can be. I'm the person in the theater that Stands up and tells the annoying people to can it or get out. I've even had a death threat once due to it, but hey...they shut up and I enjoyed the movie. I've also had people clap for me when I've shut the annoying people up...I don't pay a small fortune to hear people talk through a movie. :-)

I was super excited and because I was home alone and on the phone with my sister, I went a little crazy when the wolf appeared (wasn't expecting it) but so help me god if people act like that at the theater they are going to have a huge problem, and her name is Lisa. lol

I think that some of these people are kind of pathetic.. and most of them have never picked up a book.. if they had read the book they would have known about jake being a wolf and wouldn't have been so OMFG?!?! i mean yes, the movie is amazing, and yes, the actors are all total babes, but thats exactly it... THEY ARE ALL ACTORS. and they are such good actors that some girls (and guys?) are getting way too into the twilight saga. its great to be a fan of something and to have a passion for something, but the way some of those people reacted, and the way some 'fans' are treating rob pattinson and the rest of the cast is just inhumane. They say that they're his fans, but then they basically attack him, and he's going to get trampled or something one day and what will they do then?!? all I'm saying is that i think some of these people need to calm down, i saw the trailer and i loved it and I'm defiantly going to see the movie, but the people in the video are WAY WAY WAY to overzealous. except that one kid who was like, "wow," and the girl that sat there with her mouth open. they were funny. I did the same thing. I squeeled like that and almost cried watching the trailer the first time. Hell, I still get all teary watching the part when he leaves her. But it's a normal fangirl reaction. :) Though, I am one that HATES the pre-teen girls that squeel during the whoolleee movie in the theater. Hip hip hooray for us older fans! 26 here. I would never record my reaction for the net. I'm too shy. Besides, it was quite boring. I went into a state of shock for a good twenty minutes or so.

I was more in a state of awe about the trailer...but then spent too much time analysing it and realised i didnt really like it and preferred some of the fan made ones. They were darker and edgier...like the book.

But i was silent watching it the first time...being very quiet to ensure i didnt miss anything! I was excited on the inside...heart beating at a million miles and screaming on the inside...no need to scare the neighbours!

As for this video of the screaming fans...some seemed staged but my fave is still the one of the 2 sisters where one of them was wearing the black and white cullen shirt i think

Separately, I came here to say: I screamed the first three times I watched the teaser, and I'm not afraid to admit it :) Loved the trailer. Was more than I had hoped for (especially considering it was a teaser). Can't wait for the full-length! I'm still betting the first full-length will be in theaters before Harry Potter next month, but that's just my theory... The sooner the better!!!

I don't think crying is too far. This series has really touched a lot of people. I like that they cried (as long as they're happy tears). It's incredible that Steph's series and Weitz's dedication have made such an impact on people so far.

If you want an intense trailer that is tear-inducing, watch the final Golden Compass trailer. OMG it's super intense. I've heard the same thing about the LOTR trailers but i've never seen them (seen the movies, not the trailers).

Ditto about the lack of wolfpack. Honestly, I thought we'd see some wolves running around and then the Edward/Bella stuff. Afterall, it is just the teaser. But I'm glad we got to see at least one fursplosion.

I understand your disappointment, but just remember it's only the teaser :) In a month or two we'll probably see one of the full-length trailers...and then all will be okay.

Oh yeah. I am not too angry yet. ;-). As you said, there will be other trailers to showcase the pack. I just hope that the trailers, though I understand due to Edward love, do not showcase more vamps than needed. The whole reason I love New Moon as much as I do, is because of the pack. I didn't become madly in love with the saga until they were introduced. Although I had mad love for Jacob in the first book.

I would just hate to see my pack push aside in the trailers. I will hold my Paul like anger back until I have a good reason.

I saw the trailer Sunday night. I swore I wouldn't watch because I loathe MTV. It's just there wasn't anything to do at the moment. Unless my mom took control of the tv and watch some reality tv. *shivers* So I saw it on time. When I screamed though half of my family ran over to our camper thinking something was wrong. lol!

I hate MTV too but I was thankful to see the trailer. I was actually hoping people would leak it early, but no luck. I live in CA though so we saw it at 7:45 whereas the east coast people saw it at 10:45 (to my knowledge).

You must be happy Steph decided to go back and include more Jacob in the first Twi book. She said that originally he wasn't really there, until she was writing New moon and doing the final edits on Twilight. I couldn't really imagine the series w/out Jacob, although some of his actions in Eclipse are appalling.

Still, can't wait to see Taylor act in New Moon :) He's got so much charisma.

Honestly if Jacob had remained a small part I wouldn't have continued reading. I just have a bit of Bella fury sometimes lol. I was thrilled that Steph extended Jacob's role. He is such an amazing character to me. I never once disliked him or found him annoying. 99.9% of the time I felt an immense amount of sympathy for him. He is the only character I cried for in the book. I mean like hard sobs lol.

I can't wait to see Taylor in New Moon. I think once the movie comes out he is going to blow people away. He did impress me in Twilight. The death stare at the end was awesome! I always had my own version of Jacob as I read but now I can't picture anyone else. I'm re-reading the saga now and I can't see anyone else.

I dunno, Jacob manipulating Bella before the fight in Eclipse really bothered me. But other than that, I love Jacob. I think Tay is a great Jacob :) I always giggle at his death stare in Twilight!

I'm with you. The wolves are the reason I fell in love with the series. From the moment Jacob cut-in on Edward and Bella dancing at the end of Twilight I was hook-line-and-sinker.

BTW if you missed the comment storm the following day, you're lucky. There was a video posted where Jacob talked about which scenes the trailer shots of him were from (the one where he fursploded was in the Paul scene even though it was shown during the Laurent scene, etc) and people went crazy saying "OMG THE SCENES IN THE TRAILER AREN'T IN THE RIGHT ORDER BAHH!!!!" I kept smacking my forehead. Some people didn't understand the magic of trailer editing.... It was definitely a headache of a thread for a while there.

I didn't see it. By the time I was able to get online I gave up trying to catch up. I just jumped in where I could. Don't people understand that trailers are like that for a reason? They always have the scenes jumbled up.

I wish I would have seen Paul chasing Bella now. LOL! I would have taken great joy in seeing my man in wolf form. I thought they were suppose to fight in the rain, on the road because of Bella. But whatever. As long as I see my pack, and they have ample screen time, it's all good.

Me too sista! At first I was afraid they wouldn't show him or anything. I was a little peeved, as I said above, that the other pack members weren't there. I was totally expecting Sam to show up after Bella layed down in the woods.

It's all good though. There will be other trailers with Sam, Paul, Embry, Jared, and Quil. Hopefully Emily as well.

I'll probably be the only one in my theater gasping when Paul steps on screen. Just thinking about it gets me so excited!

Paul is a bad a** but I think my second favorite character after Jacob is Sam.

Oh 4 luv of all that is Rob. I was completely the same if not worse wen I first saw it. I watched the streaming of the awards online becoz in England we didnt get 2 see it until the day after it was shown in the US. I was laying in bed at 4.30 in the morning in pitch black wen it came onn and I tried 2 hold bak the screaming so I didnt wake any1 up but it was no use. I was so excited. The next thing I no my dad wanders in thinkin I am being attacked or sumthin cos of all the screaming lol.

I watched it with my husband and kids so It was everything I could do to keep from screaming and crying in front of them.... I dont know who liked it more me or my daughter (who is 6 by the way)....lol!

I love Twilight, but watching this (and seeing other videos and pics of fans), makes me a little embarrassed to be a fan, not because of the weight, more the hysteria.
Why do I always see seriously overweight Twi fans in all the vids and pics? What IS it about Twilight that draws this type of fan?

Maybe thin girls are too aware of the image they show to people that they don't want to be recognize in thos videos, or maybe they're just too busy taking care of theirself to live passions about a movie. Maybe bigger girls aren't affraid to show themselves on thos videos because they are down to earth and they they themselves :''hey we all love the same thing, why would they judge me'' Maybe that kind of movie (impossible love for eternity) is something bigger girl are more reacting to, because maybe they had less boyfriend than thin girl who get everybody around.

That is the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. I don't think I breathed through the whole trailer as I watched it. Thank goodness the kids were in bed, but I had my husband wasvwatching me to see what I would do. Thank goodness my reaction wasn't like these people on the videos. I would never live that down :).

I really liked the books and movie, excited for the next and yes, I am hot for Rob Pattinson and I am a 36 year old married girl (woman) and my husband thinks I am pathetic for being into it as much as I am (which really only consists of reading the books a few times, watching Twilight a few times and coming to this site, other than that I don't mention it much!).

Wow, I think some of the comments here are so rude...yeah, the reactions were over the top, and yeah I think most of them were staged just to have people watch them, but to start commenting on people's weight, and appearance is really nasty. You're telling them to get lives? Stop judging...I thought we all came to this site for the same reason..because we love Twilight, we love the books, the movies, the cast...we shouldn't have to feel like we're going to be judged..not here of all places.
I know for myself, this is the one place I can feel comfortable, and everyone should be able to feel that way.

I am a huge Twilight fan in the sense that I have read all the books 3 times, waited in line at the premiere, bought the movie, watched (and yes, LOVED!!!) the trailer and check Stephenie's site constantly, looking for info on whether she's going to publish Midnight Sun any time this century. I'm also in my 20's w/ kids though, and maybe that makes the difference...
