give me a break, not everyone always know the pronunciation of a name, for instance, carlisle and reneesme names when i was reading the books(that was before the movie) i pronounce them in a different way and i know that when people give you a name you don't always pronounce them in the proper way, more if the names are from a foreigner country.

Yeah but 1) if the person is there I ask them how they pronounce their name out of respect and 2) if I were going to be in the public eye, especially going in front of such a rabid fan base as us (and I'm pretty forgiving) I would ask around before jumping in with assumptions. At the end of the day I wasn't trying to be rude though, I was just making an observation.

First of all, there IS no bad about that trailer...it's a teaser trailer and it was better than I expected it to be (I wasn't even expecting to see a wolf transformation in the teaser). And I'm really sick of people criticizing the CGI. The wolf DOES look scary enough and it doesn't look cartoony. It looks incredible. Better than the animals in Golden Compass (so sick of that comparison, BTW). Look at the werewolves in Underworld...they look terrible compared to this. New Moon is looking absolutely amazing so far!!

Second of all, how embarrassing for Kristen. They might edit out any underwear shots before the movie comes out though. I just feel bad for her that she has to be under such public scrutiny from now until whenever the "ZOMG Kristen's underwear" hooplah dies down.

Oh gosh, and if they werewolves in Twilight transformed like how they did in Underworld, that would just be the ultimate worst effect. I liked underworld- but the werewolves looked like the rat, Master Splinter, from teenage mutant ninja turtles! The CGI wolves look amazing, and massive!

The thong showing is a little funny, but it's only noticeable when people are freeze framing every nano-second of the clip. Luckily, Kristin seems to have the type of personality where she'd just laugh this off. The funniest part her undies showing is the fact that someone was watching this enough to notice. What I meant was the lady in the video commented on people saying that the wolf didn't look scary enough, and that it wasn't big enough. That was considered a "bad" part of the trailer. I was just saying that I disagree with that commentary. I think the wolf looks big, scary, and amazing.

What people forget is that these are not werewolves there shapeshifters, BIG difference. That's why like you said in Underworld compared to this there so different. I like the wolf in the teaser, I thought it was perfect.

THE PROBLEM IS THE FANS ARE TO FAST TO JUDGE, PEOPLE ANALYZE THE TRAILER WAY TOO MUCH, STICK TO THE FIRST THOUGHT YOU HAD OF IT WHEN YOU FIRST SAW IT, WE ALSO HAVE TO REMEMBER THE MOVIE IS NOT GOING TO BE 100% IDENTICAL TO THE BOOK, SO LETS ALL PLEASE HAVE AN OPEN MIND AND NOT BE SO HARD ON THEM OR SO JUGEMENTAL.

ALSO YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THEY WANT TO MAKE THE WOLFS LOOK AS REAL AS POSSIBLE IF THEY WOULD ACTUALLY MAKE THEM THE WAY THEY ARE DESCRIBED IN THE BOOK PEOPLE WOULD BE UNHAPPY THAT THEY LOOK TO FAKE, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY.

PERSONALLY, I LOVED IT! EVEY SECOND OF IT! I THINK SO FAR SO GOOD! COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE MOVIE..

i actually really enjoyed the trailer. the one thing i do hope they improve on though is how the wolves look. to me, jacob should be darker in colour. and although the CGI is really well done, they definitely need to be bigger, cause here he just looks the same size as any normal wolf would. really good job though.

Well remember that while the books go on, Jacobs wolf grows. He keeps growing and ends up being one of the biggest wolves in the pack so it makes sense they didn't make him bigger than that cuz then it really would go along with the story.

You people amaze me. This whole Twilight phenomenon amazes me. Don't get me wrong. I loved the books...devoured them actually in 3 days of insanity. But the fan base for these BRAND NEW actors and actresses is....well, wow! I'm wondering how many Bellas, Edwards, Jaspers, Emmetts, Jacobs and Alices will be in the "new baby" section of the newspapers over the next few years. Not to mention Roberts, Kristens, Taylors, Ashleys, etc. Looks like old fashoned names are "in" again. It'll be interesting to watch the "Most Popular Baby Names" lists. Lol. I predict Edward and Robert will run neck and neck with Taylor and Jacob on their tail. So to speak. Lol.
Anywho, I loved the trailer and I agree that it did exactly what it was meant to do....Left us wanting more. (I still feel that way about the books). I do hope the "wolf" issues are cleared up. While the actual transformation is fabulous, the size of the wolf is a disappointment. He definitely needs to be bigger. We need an animal that fights (and is able to kill) vampires, not a family pet. The size of Jake as a wolf is important, I think because, if CW "down-sizes", the story becomes less fantasy and more human. The characteristics of the vampires that make them more (and less) than human are not really spotlighted until the last two books. If CWs version of Jacob is too small, it'll only make it harder to convince us in the next movie, not only of Jake's strength, but of the vampires' as well. Blah, blah, blah. I'm done now.

Overall I think the first official trailer for New Moon was good, not great. Fortunately they released it early enough. They'll have time to take in our feedback and fix whatever it is that needs to be fixed & they still need to add clips from Italy. By the second and/or third trailer I'm sure it will be great. I'm expecting we'll be pleased.

I have to agree that the make up is much better this time around along with Jaspers and Rosalies hair & the gold tint suits the film because of the wolves.

Which brings me to my next subject; the wolf. When I first watched the trailer I thought "Aww. Adorable." While I would still like for the wolf to have a cuddly like quality, I was expecting it to be much "scarier" but like this reporter said, maybe the cgi is still a work in progress.

I guess if it would affect the costume/outfit enough then they'd suggest something. I think the commentator (or staff writer) got it wrong that Bella was telling Jake to run away from Paul. In that book scene, Jake was protecting Bella from his pack. My guess was that this clip is from a nightmare scene of Bella's and she is telling him to run from a red-eyed Edward. (Think she was having nightmares when she remembered the werewolf story).

Yeah I noticed the cloathing change. I watched the trailer way too many times to not notice. At first I was a little dissapointed because it looked like they were cutting the meadow scene out completely, and remember thats were we get to see the entire wolfpack.
