This was my first though, sure it was good but it couldn't be used as a teaser trailer because it is too long. Let's see the proper trailer before we begin comparing!
And also i, personally, am not a huge fan of adverts like these because the kind of give away the whole film. I know it's not like it will be a huge shock because it already is a world-wide famous book, but it doesn't really need the bit with her falling in the water...

I definitely agree. Especially about the poster makers. I was a graphic design major in college, and many of the fan made posters are really hit the spot for me visually. They are fantastic and I think Summit should use some of them.

If you can't sing it or play an instrument, find someone who can and make it a co-artist thing... you be the writer and they be the instrument/voice.

I whole-heartedly agree.... the forest scene made me just about cry... and the original trailer didn't do that for me at all....

I loved that in the forest, Edward's words from the book were used... "I don't want you anymore".... that's what really really got me! I lost it right then and there!

It was such a great build-up... the music intensifying when she presses her foot to the motorcycle pedal.... so good.

And my favorite line put into words on the screen would have to be "Hope can become a dangerous addiction"... beautifuly said!

I think she got some of the audio from the Twilight movie... when he said "My family, we have to go away somewhere..." I think the first part was from Twilight and "we have to go away somewhere" I have an educated guess... was from when they were running away? If I'm wrong about the second part someone please correct me. I haven't watched the Twilight movie in yonkers; after seeing it a total of 13 times, I got an eensy bit tired of it.

This trailer is amazing!!! I got goosebumps from it. I was a little disappointed with the original because I didn't think they gave us enough of the breakup. This breakup scene was so good it hurt to watch. I cannot wait to see what you will give us once summit releases more trailers. If they are samrt, they will just hire you.

2.Laurent doesn't sparkle when he's in the meadow and it's sunny. You can definitely see it's sunny .
3.Jacob wears blue pants when he first makes his appearance.
4.Edward seems to wear the same shirt he'll be ripping off in Italy .Same blue one. What the heck ,Edward?Same shirt for so many months?lol....ahh...but I think here he has an excuse...he's suffering and doesn't care anymore about how he looks like.

i'm not criticizing anything..just that was funny for me to notice all of these so late. lol

I'm trying to think of the book. He told Bella that he was tracking Victoria pretty much the entire time that he was gone. Then he was preparing to come back to her when Rosalie tells him Bella is dead. So he goes straight to Italy. I guess it kind of makes since that he would be wearing the same clothes throughout this time. I don't know, what do yaw think?

Makes sense to me. He's depressed. He doesn't care one bit about how he looks but he is a neat person (when he hunts) and doesn't even sweat so changing clothes probably doesn't even occur to him.

Just like vampires not needing to sit or move, they only do it not to arrouse the curiousity of humans.

As for the movie--it shows his despair.

In Summit's defense, they just completed shooting and Chris has to get in to help the editing process. I suspect they just took some key aspects that they thought fans would like and threw it together. I gurantee the trailer that they release in Theaters is going to be great.

The actual team had at least a month to put these scenes they used in the teaser and they failed - we only love it because it's twilight-related and not because it's wonderful. And this girl had a week, now look what SHE DID!!!

OMG that was so good! I was reading that everyone was getting goosebumps so I wanted to see for myself. I totally got chills, goosebumps and was starting to fill up!!! Way better than the original Summit trailer which, although it was good, did not have this effect on me.

I was very impressed with this trailer. When my daughter and I watched the teaser, I was so disappointed. I have watched the original several times and I am getting used to it, but it still is so lacking... The CGI wolf is very disappointing, so many of the fan made trailers featured real scenes of wolves and there were so many that were good. I still can"t decide if I'm going to see New Moon - I don't like the changes to Jasper and Esme. Esme does not look like a "mom" anymore, and that is part of her character. And I am having such a hard time with the CGI, it just does not fit with the rest of the movie. But this girl made me think, Maybe I will watch it, This trailer is excellent and I do hope she gets into this business! Great job!!!!!

Its very well done, i think the 2nd half is great but the first isnt as good as the original, nice sound editing too, one thing that is a slight let down if im being REALLY picky is your choice of words in the transitions.
Overall is really good, im just being over critical coz i do motion graphics and editing for a living.

I have to disagree, I think the first part is excellent. When I watched the teaser , I was so let down. The acting looks stilted and the changes made to the characters make me not even want to see it. Then I see this girls trailer, and although I realize the movie will be whatever it ends up being, after watching this girls work I really would like to see the movie. I still have a feeling I am going to really be let down by it, especially in regards to the CGI.

As excited as I was to see the official trailer/teaser, I was somewhat disappointed in that it didnt convey the pain and loneliness, especially in what we saw of the break up scene. I didn't "feel" it. But, when I saw this fanmade trailer, I got a little teary. She nailed it with the music and text . . .it brought back all those feelings that I experienced the times I read NM. IHalfway through, I realized that I was holding my breath. literally said "Wow" out loud. Well done

Unbelievable! This trailer brings out the stuff I missed in the official trailer; all the sadness and empytiness that Bella feels after Edward has left her. I mean, seriously, Bella is depressed for months, and the real triler deals Bellas emotions only for few frames. Yeah, I know it's a trailer and it shouldn't deal all facts about the book.. but still.. :P

Of course I absolutely adore this trailer otherwise i wouldn't have thought to send it in but when I showed this to my brother he made a very good point.
This trailer is more aimed at the fans rather than everyone, he didn't feel like it was something he wanted to see. But the official trailer was better to draw him into seeing it.

I'll probably get loads of complaints about this comment because you're all fans, of course you love it. In my opinion its better than the official one but i think before we all go off saying that the person who made the official one should be replaced by Tiffany lets just think about what the non fans are going to make of this trailer. There doesn't seem to be much of a fight scene apart from the birthday scene and that looks very small, unlike when Bella says "Jake, run!" and the wolf change, there has to be some sort of confrontation there. And that would probably draw a guy into it. And the gorgeous body of Taylor would draw girls in ;). Wow, this is a long comment, and please don't get me wrong, this trailer is the best ive ever scene. But the official trailer maker is trying to draw everyone in instead of just us who visit this site.

yeah that makes sense i see what u mean. in the hollywood aspect, the origional teaser trailer would draw more people, and i just loved the wolf transformation!! but i totally love this remix bcuz its much closer to the book and its just so chilling!

Absolutely amazing! I was glad she included parts from Twilight to use as flashbacks. And I was very pleased to see some shots of Volterra. And the Porsche. I can't wait for New Moon!
