With recent concerns of New Moon star Robert Pattinson’s security due to the thrash of fans gathering around the filming of his new movie Remember Me on the streets of New York City, he now has a more official security presence in the form of a police escort.

Hopefully this will keep any would-be gropers at bay!

New Moon’s Jasper Hale, played by the multi-talented Jackson Rathbone, has a new interview where he chats a bit about his thoughts on New Moon compared to Twilight–

“We have a bigger budget, we have a little more pressure to keep that feeling going, but the nice thing is that you’re delving more into the story now with ‘New Moon,’” he said. “As the films progress, you get deeper into the lore and they mythical world you’re establishing with the werewolves and get more into what the werewolf society and legacy is. It keeps getting deeper.”

New Moon main vamp Robert Pattinson is in New York City filming his new film Remember Me, and apparently he’s irritated someone–here he was seen getting flipped off while filming the movie. Don’t worry though–that’s a make believe movie bird.

Word from People Magazine is that New Moon star Ashley Greene got cozy with Entourage hunk Adrian Grenier last weekend at the Oakley “Learn to Ride” surfing event. They met for the first time on Friday, and–

“They hit it off,” says the source, who saw the pair dancing together to music by Kelley James on Friday night. “[They] really had a great time.”

On Saturday, Greene and Grenier hung out and talked before taking surf lessons. That night, they met up at a barbeque at El Capitan Ranch and “were flirting and dancing close all night long,” says the source. “They held nothing back dancing – it was pretty intense.”
