There was a Twilight party in Berlin this weekend and Ashley Greene, Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore provided the star power. Here’s a video of their introduction–warning: it’s loud!
Ashley Green and Kellan Lutz took a moment last week to talk to Project Runway star Christian Siriano about the fashion they were wearing on the Red Carpet at the MTV Movie Awards. It looks like Kellan’s hair is recently buzzed!
The fateful line in Twilight before Edward gives Bella a bird’s-eye view of Forks about holding on like a spidermonkey was chosen by Robert Pattinson from serveral choices, Catherine Hardwicke revealed–
“I gave it to Rob, the whole list,” she explained. “And I said, ‘Rob, which one do you want to say?’ And he goes, ‘I want to say the spider-monkey one.’ “
Edi Gathegi from New Moon was at the Florida Supercon this weekend in Miami. A clever vendor was selling these fake Forks High School Identification cards as well!
MTV takes an interesting look at what Robert Pattinson’s fellow New Moon castmates think about Rob’s fame now, and how he is dealing with it–
“Italy was intense,” Ashley Greene marveled. “We literally all had two bodyguards and drivers, and we couldn’t walk and had to be driven around the set. It was because there were thousands of girls that came in from everywhere in the world to see [Pattinson]. … They would sleep over and stay the night outside our hotel gate. It was nuts.”
“Every second of Rob’s life is watched now,” Kellan Lutz added, saying that Rob has had to adjust some habits to handle the increased scrutiny. “I’m sure he’s careful for everything he’s doing.”
“I’ve talked to Rob about it, and he’s just paranoid all the time now,” Peter Facinelli revealed, admitting that the newfound fame does sometimes become difficult for his onscreen son. “Like, even to go down to the Starbucks, he’s ducking behind cars and does a roll-flip to the coffee shop. Then he gets up, and there’s nobody there — but then the one time that he doesn’t do that, that’s when there’s like 10,000 paparazzi jumping out of the bushes.”
This is an oldie but goodie: it shows a day in the life of Robert Pattinson when he played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. Robert’s star power and humor comes through, though, and it’s well worth a watch.
