Is it just me, or does Rob seem to be more and more depressed of late?

For instance, when twilight was first released, he seemed much more, if you will, 'happy'.
Even though he was always uncomfortable or akward infront of cameras, he was still in a way, at ease with himself.

Now, these pictures of him are revealing a different side of him... it seems to often start out the same way with many other stars... at first it's all new and exciting, but as time goes, the pressure seems to be too much to bare - they start to turn toward things to keep their sanity... drugs, alcohol, broken relationships that don't last...... NOT SAYING THIS WILL HAPPEN TO ROB! GOD i hope it doesn't.

It really is a wake-up call for brand new celebrities, once the 'glam' wares off, it's a really hard life.... i really feel for him... and kristen for that matter.

Actually I had totally opposite impression. He seems happy latelly, and when he was filmed with people that he likes he always has a smile on his face.
And when you're chased by paps you shouldn't look happy. He just looks normal, walking down the street, minding his own buisiness and maybe thinking about his role in "Remember me", the filming starts in few days.
Just because he's not smiling that doesn't mean he's depressed. No one is smiling all the time, and if I was him I wouldn't smile to the paps either.

I just think that people are thinking too much about these kind of pictures.
Just as Rob said himself, he hates them because then people start analyzing every single detail,every face expression, scrutinizing it to bits. It's just a pictue, a brief moment frozen in time. It doesn't mean anything.

Sorry, should have mentioned... i wasn't refering to these pictures only.... yes, paps will do that to a person.... i get that...
but there have been a few interviews the past few days after sunday's award show that just gave the hint that he is struggling to keep his composure... hmmmm... idk... i'm just thinking of some possibilities of why he would be so 'strange'.

I think he just looks happier in planned appearances and photo shoots where there are less people and a little breating room. I think we would all be a little bit put-off or paranoid to be mobbed by so many people screaming and shoving large cameras in our faces...and remember, too, that those people with the cameras don't even like or care in anyway for him--they are in it for the money--they would like it just as well if he fell on his face. There really ought to be laws about this!

SOOOOO True, it really makes me angry how much these paps don't care.
It almost makes this whole 'celebrity' life-style soooo not worth it.

I don't know how he stands it.... perhaps it is not that he's depressed in 'life'.... but just with all the 'negative' attention from people that treat him the same as paps.

He did use to smile nd play along with the paps in the past when there wasn't such a sufficating mob of them...have you heard them on the videos? I had to stop watching the--too painful--screaming and screaming his name and if he doesn't answer their questions and keeps walking-they get mean. Enough for me to want that big, burly french security guy back.

Ya, the interviews after the awards was painful.... so many people just freaking the poor guy out....

I agree with you. Personally, I like Rob with shorter, neater hair and a bit of scruff on the face. The longer hair starts looking greasy after a while and then those nasty rumors of his hygiene problems come back to the surface. Rob is a handsome young man who is finding his own way and I think he looks better now than ever.

Summit released something yesterday saying they were still looking for the leading lady.

fill bad for Kristen and Robert, they used too have fun together. Now when see them both they are afraid to touch each other. That means either they are afraid of what people will think, or they are trying to hide something, or Kristen is worried what Michael will think. Michael has not been around in awhile, so does that mean Kristen and Michael are really on a break or does that mean Rob and Kristen are becoming more than friends. I also think that if Robert really stayed at Kristens place just as friends than Michael would not been keen on the idea, so it makes me wonder if Kristen would allow him to stay knowing Michael would not approve. I really hope Kristen and Robert are more than friends, but if I'm wrong I hope that Kristen will always be there for Robert, he needs all the support he can get right now. OMG I just looked at it like three more times, and I just realized he is wearing AWESOME jeans! I love those jeans on him! I could seriously just faint and die right now! HA HA! Somebody save me or at least put a pillow under my head. OMRP...getting more faint by the minute.
