my roommate..i luv her but she's annoying sometimes.Last night when we were watching t.v they were talking about Rob. and she goes "who cares" and then they mentioned the little incident about the cab and she was like "too bad he wasn't hurt".That irritated me a bit.She's always bashing him for what reason i have no idea.But the good thing is her one little opinion will not change mine nor will it afffect Rob in anyway.:)

Well the writer from GQ has it totally wrong as far as I'm concerned. My adoration of Rob has nothing to do with Edward. In fact it was Rob and his personality through interviews and such that finally broke down my reserve about reading Twilight. (I had heard too many mixed reviews about the series from people I respect and share similar book interests with.) He made me want to see the movies, which of corse made me want to read the books first. I'm finally at that turning point in my life where he's my first celebrity crush that I am old enough to possibly be his mother so it's nice to know he's not just nice to look at, he's also a nice guy.

I'm glad to know that he's as easy-going and relaxed about his good fortune as he seems to be in the interviews he gives. I hope that doesn't change.

I love how all the media outlets act like it is such a surprise that Robward is like this. Why do you think he is so appealing to all of us? It is not just because of him playing Edward Cullen.

Sure that put him out there, but even I did not understand what the big deal was with him at the beginning. But after getting to know him through his interviews and the way he acts in real life, you can't help but fall for him.

Any other celeb would be so full of themselves right now after all of the attention and craziness in NYC.

Now this posts confirms to me that magazines editors, etc, have no finger on anyone pulse or they would know that Robert is probably one of the few (if not the only one (as far as I know) with a massive appeal to people of every generation. That ain't just Edward!!!

He is so great. In alot of interviews, Rob will say he is only popular cause us fans just transfer our love for the character Edward to him. But I say no way!!

Rob is amazing in his own way. Sexy and easy-going are just two of his amazing characteristics.

Maybe the fans liked him in the beggining because of Edward, but now, i think we all love the real Rob. He's beautiful from the inside and outside.

Rob has no problem saying...sh*t....here I am, take me, leave me, whatever, I'm going to be me no matter what happens and THAT is sexy, THAT is hot and THAT is what I love about him as a person.

He's open, honest, and vulnerable. We already know this about him, we LOVE him for it and it's why we "The True Fans" are fiercely protective of him.
Even in the video where the paparazzi guy was filming him....Rob's telling him to "Stop bumping into people". He doesn't want other people bothered by him walking down the street...because he's a genuinely nice person.
I agree with Nicnixs also in the fact that his fans are not all TEENS! I am hell and gone from my teen years *breathes a sigh of relief at this fact* and because of that fact, I can appreciate WHO he really is. Us women (and some men) who have seen our fair share of crappy, sorry excuses for men out there can truly appreciate a man such as Rob Pattinson. In his position now, he could be cocky and demanding. The fact that he remains open, honest and vulnerable, shows his strength of character.
Personally I would love to give him a big hug him and tell him how wonderful he really is.....hoping that somewhere deep down....he believes it. However I would never do it without asking first!
