I work in production and I get lots of fan mail sent to me at my office, and it is addressed to me (freaks me out how they even get my name)...... and once I open it, it's basically a letter begging me to pass on their enclosed letters to the star they are trying to contact. Some of it is really creepy and and comes from non age appropriate people, especially girls.

Somehow the letters didn't really creep me out. I thought they were very sweet, especially considering they were just tacked to his car rather than forced upon him by people hanging around his neck. What I noticed was that the inset picture was of girls that looked.. 8.. 10 years old maybe? Were the letter from THEM? In some ways I find it highly disturbing that girls that young might be writing letters and their parents LET THEM (and not just that.. but read the books!) so these last few days of what has been going in New York have been ridiculously embarrassing - I feel it makes us women look like a bunch of psychos, which is totally unfair because we aren't all crazy. But I personally think these little notes are kind of cute. Yes, I am sure he is going fricking insane with all of these mobs of women following him, but it's a nice gesture. Better than attacking him anyways. And it's just little girls, like little love notes to him.

I am, however, beginning to get nervous about all of this. This probably sounds crazy, but before the thing with the taxi ever happened, I was thinking to myself, what if something happened to him? I am a very paranoid person, so naturally I worry about these sort of things. I thought about what if someone went after him? Or if there was an accident? Well...with all of this madness right now, I am starting to think 'what if he decides to just quit the Twilight Saga?' What if he gets so fed up with all those crazy stalkers, he just...leaves. Being an actor/actress its your dream that you will be famous. To have 1000's of fans recognize you is a dream. I just don't think Robert expected this to be taken to so many levels and its got him pretty nervous. He has said multiple times in interviews that he is afraid he's going to get hurt by some fan/stalker and it came pretty close when he almost got hit by a taxi.

I don't think Robert wants you to stop being his fan but use good judgement.
