you people will probably hate me but i think that Kristen had the worst performance out of all the twilight cast. i like her as a person, she's really cool and stuff but i personally dont like her acting.
Honestly, im not even going to sugar coat it, i thought Kristen sounded constipated the entire movie.
Then the scene in the hospital was such bad acting on her part that i was actually embarrased for her.

It's great that Kristen gets some great comments form the A listers. Yes, she has been acting way before than most of the cast in Twilight, she is an amazing actress and she deserves the good critics.

You can tell Megan (just by her comments about people) is the kind of person that sees the negative in everything. She didn't even smile along with Andysamberg's jokes (at the awards)....she just seems cold for some reason. (that attitude is not going to get her far in the acting world.)

Mickey Rourke was pretty much the hottest thing in Hollywood in the '80's after doing a couple of movies. But he ended up with a huge ego and an attitude and became a diva. He would pretty much refuse to do certain things on the sets of movies and ended up ruining his career because noone would put up with him. Them a director gave him a chance in The Wrestler and now he is back on top.

I actually don't understand why everyone doesn't like her...not saying that I do but its just funny how all twilighters have such a dislike for anything HSM related.

I've seen all three movies...not out of choice but because my niece's have them on along with Camp Rock and Hannah Montana 24/7! Not really my thing, but I understand the appeal to the kids. HSM and Twilight are two completely different movies with two completely different audiences.

My "dislike" is for the all too negative Megan Fox.

I haven't seen any of the HSM movies nor have I heard any of the cast say anything negative. They seem pretty nice.

I just said it was a crappy way to get an award, when Zac won but wasn't really introduced.

Is it a competition thing? I'm older than the typical Twilight fan but I enjoyed all the HSMs, it was so corny that I just couldn't help it. But I do agree on the fact that maybe the differences are so great that it's two different audiences.

I'm not saying I don't like the HSM crew but at the same time I have no reason to like them either...I'm impartial because to date I haven't seem either of them do a movie that I like and that isn't geared to kids. I just think people hating/disliking them just because of the movies they have done is wrong especially when those movies are made for a different audience.

I have to admit I liked the first one when I watched it, purely because it reminded me of the first time I watched grease when I was 8 and sang all the song non-stop till I was blue in the face...and up until then the kids of this generation hadn't had the pleasure of seeing a musical so it was something new for them which is why HSM was such a big hit.

Re the audiences I mention that because how many people on here are over 18 and will be in line buying the tickets for the midnight showing for New Moon where as I don't imagine any adults going to see HSM unless they were taking their kids.

I've seen most of those too - mainly when I was looking after younger kids - but I didn't really have a problem with them.

I think the problem with the guys from HSM is partly the Disney persona thing - they are part of this big money-making giant that has a fake smile over the top - and they are obligated to act all the time for the cameras. I've heard a few interviews with them, and as an adult (technically), they come accross as superficial and kind of all about the money rather than the actual art of making a good movie - so it kind of seems wrong that Vanessa and Zac get so much approval and press, when truly sincere artists like Kristen get passed over somewhat.

Like you said they sold their souls to Disney and thats how they have got where they are. Its Disney that promotes the heck out of them along with all the other teenybopper stars like Miely, Hillary Duff etc...they've got where they are through the appeal of kids.

Kristen and Rob don't appeal to the kids...and by kids I'm talking the 4-8 years olds like my niece's. My 5 and 6 year old niece's haven't been allowed to watch twilight where HSM they know all the words too.

I don't think Vanessa and Zac come off as fake, they are presenting an image...its no difference from the days of Brittany and NSync when they aren't allowed to smoke, drink, or be falling out of clubs etc etc because it ruins the image for kids....Kristen and Rob are not idolized by kids so they get to behave how ever they like. Because of that I don't think that Kristen would ever get asked to do a role that Vanessa getS asked to do and the same for Zac and Rob....completely different actors with a completely different appeal.

Yeah - I don't disagree, really - the kids I saw it with were a little older - 11 and 14 - and they love Zac and the Jonas brothers completely and utterly - and I would hate it if those guys did something to ruin the image for their sakes.

I think you're also right about them being in very different categories - the only thing that annoys me is when they are compared, because I really admire what I know of Kristen as an actress, and when I've heard Vanessa and the others speak in interviews, I don't feel like I really hear the real person - which I understand - but that's what gets to me.
