I have 2 more Edward Cullen favorites.
1) He always worries that you're warm enough.
2) He's so concerned about whether you wear your seat belt.

I don't really agree with those. They actually did NOT mention the fact that vamps are FRAEKING HOT!! That helps like, a LOT. I love Jasper (and the rest of the Cullens) cuz they're perfect gentlemen ^^, super hot, and they're not limited to night activity like normal vampires. And they're so sure and passionate about love, there is only ONE woman for them. They don't lust after hot women that they see around. I love the whole soul mate thing too. And they have cool powers :]. And they're HOT!

I agree with you I love the Cullen because they are so passionate and commited to their onlu love and they are perfect in every sense but you can also see human feelings every once in a while ahh I love them!!!

Well, I think "ask men" has all the wrong reasons for why women love to fall in love with vampires.

I think the biggest draw for me anyway is the dark mysterious "bad boy" image that being a vamp inspires.

There is always the chance that you will be bitten by your vamp lover and hell for some reason that totally turns me on.

It kind of comes from the "necking" part of making out. I love for my neck to kissed and "love bit" There is just something about showing your neck to a guy that is sexy.

Late to the game here...was distracted reading fanfic all day/night.

Anywhoo...I read Bram Stokers Dracula when I was 9 and it's been vampire love ever since. You name it - lore, horror films, books, TV shows - I love it all. It's my favorite Halloween costume although I think I'll skip the next few years with all the Twilight craze going on. I try to keep my secret obsession on the down low IRL!

Oh...Interview with a Vampire! I have loved that movie since it came out! That is pretty much when my love for vampires started too! I remember watching it over and over for a while.

Interview with a Vampire was similar to Twilight, in my opinion: the book was SO good, it made it very difficult not to find fault with the movie! Louis and Lestat were such well-drawn, sexual characters, you just had to be drawn to them!

There are so many reasons that I love everything vampires. Other than the horror films, vampires are just beautiful and sexy and mysterious, but dangerous and life threatening. It is the whole dichotomy of being completely gorgeous and attracting, but so dangerous and not good for you at the same time.

And just the fact that being a vampire would be so cool because you could live at night time, always be beautiful, kill people you hate and get away with it and have the face, smell, and voice that mesmerizes people.

I am completely living in fantasy land now. I love Celine in Underworld. She is absolutely beautiful, gun toting, bad a$$, gets to wear cool leather outfits, and gets the hot guy at the end. Although he doesn't hold a candle to Rob.

Anyone out there ever see a television drama called "My Date With a Vampire"? It was on asian TV a few years ago. I loved to watch it when I was in Hong Kong. I didn't understand it much as I didn't speak their language but I really enjoyed the show. I have tried to find it on DVD but have been unsuccessful so far.

10. Women Love Loners? Maybe only needy women.. I like a guy who has a good personality, thus having good friends..

couldnt agree more! in edward theres that...loyalty. he would do ANYTHING for you no matter what and the best part is hes protective. sometimes over protective but at least you know hes TRUE and not fake like all of our nonfiction guys. lol. hes romantic and just perfect. plus he has well manners and stunning looks.
now jake hes like the ultimate best friend, aside from alice. hes a lover AND a fighter like edward but hes more humanly. he constantly makes me laugh andals like edward hes protective. but unlike edward he doesnt keep secrets. he tells you how it is. he has a huge heart and will love you forever, as well as edward.

i seriously dont get the attraction with edward. i mean he's bland and so boring. and i dont get the hate with jacob either. i think he's the most realistic character in the saga, werewolf and all. he's funny, lashes out when angry, protective but not overly so, pokes fun to himself, with rugged masculine looks... just more human with his flaws.

i think it's weird because im a HUGE fan of robert, but i dont like edward.
and i just adore jacob, but cant stand taylor lautner.
so it pisses me off when some people tell me that i only like robert because he's playing the perfect male specimen. that is not what's happening in my case.

Okay, Edward is the ultimate vamp and Rob does a dreamy interpretaion of him but there have been many hot vamps on film and literature. They're mysterious, hot, sexy and women of all ages against their better judgement are drawn to them.

I think Rob's body is Fine. He's not a steroid freak or Hercules_wannabe. He looks very natural. Not bad from the back or front. Doesn't take much imagination. I like the way he looks.

She also used him from the very beginning. Their entire relationship began with BELLA using Jacob to get information by a piss poor attempt at flirting with him. Bella, technically, was the instigator of manipulation in that relationship.

Selfishness - Had it not been for Jacob, in Eclipse, the vamps would have had a hard time defeating the newborns. Had it not been for Jacob, who selflessly broke from the pack, defending the Cullens, and Bella. Sam and his pack would have destroyed her, Nessie, and the Cullens.

Secrets - Had it not been for Jacob, Bella would have strung her father along after her transformation. Due to her selfish, heartless way of not letting Charlie go. As she refused to let Jacob go.

Now with fashion sense. Honey, I would take Jacob half-nekkid in low hanging cuff off shorts anyway day. Preferably covered in dirt and or motor oil from working on his car. Especially over a designer dressed snoozy, boring vampire.

Friendships - Hello did you not read the book? His dislike over the Cullens was due to the shapeshifter stuff. The legend of the cold woman killing tribe members.

I love Edward's sense of style, his charm, his intelligence, (i literally could go on and on). Jake has some pretty great qualities, too. compelled to see what reaction that was producing. To my chagrin, I at
first did not see a man willing to step up and speak out...even remember a
girl commenting "Where are all the guys at?" Well, I once again found
myself compelled to act and posted on behalf of my tongue-tied brethren. I
enjoyed the ensuing discussion so much that I got myself an account and the
rest, as they say, is history. I have found some dear friends here and
conversing with you all has become an integral part of my day.

Mr. Darcy, my experience has been that those who hide behind a guest face and do just that, i.e. "spew" are what are commonly known as chicken sh*!. It killed him just as much as it hurt Bella; at least she had her family and Jacob which leads me to my next point. Step had to write it that way- it made for good story and set up the "love triangle." jake never would have gotten his moment otherwise.

When Twilight came out, he watched it with me thinking it was like True Blood or Dusk til Dawn (he wanted to see some hot naked chics) He was soooo disappointed and hated Twilight.

Before Twilight I never had an interest in vampires. And I love Edward not because he is a vamp. Its the way he loves his woman. How he protects her, puts her happiness above his at all times. He could be butt ugly ,but if he had those qualities I'd love him.

I can't say I had some huge interest in vampires.. but I absolutely loved Spike in Buffy the series. He was the embodiment of a vampire to me.. pain-in-the-ass, kick everyone and everything's ass, smoke, drink, whine, wears leather and has spiky hair, and then becomes soft and confused by love, and shows real emotion in every phase of his life.

So yeah. I liked Spike. LOL. I didn't necessarily search out vampire stuff, but what I did see and/or read, I liked.. they were all made to be so complex.

The whole time I was reading and re-reading the books its the one thing I kept thinking. How he loves her. Stephenie hit the nail on the head with that one. She knows what women want from their men. I keep telling my hubby to read the books and he will get an education.

Yeah...I tried to get my husband to read them as well. He just thinks I'm nuts! :D Oh well...guess they will never reap the benefits of truly knowing what we want. It would definitely be worth their while...*wink* *wink* Oh, if they only knew...

I was always fascinated by vamps... The first introduction into the mysterious handsome vamps world for me began with Vampire Diaries.... I was like totally crazy about Salvatore brothers.. I LOVED those series, and they where actually before Twilight saga came out.

Than came Brad and Tom with "Interview with the Vampire" and now Edward and the Twilight...

they may have gotten her different contacts, or maybe left them out, I know I read she had contacts in the first one to make her eyes the color they wanted. Maybe that's why she doesn't blink as much too.... maybe they got rid of them... hmmmmm!
