I'll be honest... quality make-up is quality make-up. Or sometimes there are just certain colours that are only found from weird companies.

My favorite lipstick has Hello Kitty on it, because the shade is perfect for me. I'll probably give it all these new brands a chance at some point or another. It's not like I do my make-up in front of an audience, so I don't really pay attention to the brands.

Some of the colours look enticing.. I don't knock make up when it looks good. I just won't buy just because it is Twilight. :-)

Yeah...did you notice Sarah Jessica Parker came out with a purfume called Twilight last year...HMM....you're not fooling anyone SJP!!! (and I know this is old and she couldn't possibly have known about Twilight the movie but she used to have a line of clothing called "Bitten" for Steve & Barry's stores(I have a black t-shirt that says "BITTEN" on it and my hubby thought I bought it because of my obsession) (before they closed down.)

The only thing I wear is lip gloss and mascara, and Lip Venom works really well, so I will buy only those two things. Maybe.

The cases they come in look sweet but I bet it is all going to be really overpriced untill the New Moon production publicity dies down a bit. Then it will probibly still be over priced but a little better.

oh, so I'm pretty obsessive about Twilight saga merchandise- I have twilight band aids, for crying out loud! I just bought the "Faces of Twilight" magazine, and I will probably cave and buy the Edward/Bella barbie dolls (lol).

The make up will most likely be aimed at the tween market, the have to have everything to do with Twilight market. The merchandise market is huge with things like this and the only way to stop it is by not buying it, but that most likely won't happen.

I've seen all the Twilight inspired jewellery and crafts, being a crafter myself and I've seen the blatant copy and rip off stuff, which by rights can be a problem with copyright, especially using the logo's or any official designs.
That said, people are willing to buy anything official or not, it happens with more than just movies.

I have made in the past ( before twilight existed) and still make, bookmarks, pendants and cards featuring vampire imagery,bats, wolf and moon, etc, not using "Twilight" in any title, however I'm still going to now look like I'm trying to cash in on the franchise with or without any references.

Saw someone the other day, who makes soap, selling 2 very plain bars of a handmade scented type in a brownish colour, but the title had incorporated the name Twilight and Edward Cullen, yet the actual product had nothing whatsoever to do with it.

As for the makeup, depends on who it is actually making the stuff, is it a cheaper brand or a more expensive one, the packaging is attractive and will no doubt do it's job and attract the public.
Personally not my thing, but I do like the designs and of course the name ' Luna' : ) lol

I'm going to stick to my usual brands I think, I won't have need for bright blue mascara!

Plus who is it made by? It will probably be cheap and bring everyone out in rashes!!

OMG! I think Twi-makeup is alittle over the edge but... who am I to complain! :) But what I really squeled about was that THE VOLTURI HAVE A CREST! XD (sorry, I am a Volturi fan, yes.. Team Volturi!!!) XDD It looks so cool but it's so small :(( BUT I WILL BUY ONE!! MAWHAHAHA! XDD

The line is by DuWop and will be released in September 2009. Anyone who picked up the US Weekly Sexy Stars of Twilight special magazine at Kroger over the weekend received a card with a code to try the Twilight Lip Venom early and for 20% off. I ordered mine Saturday and its already on its way. DuWop is well known for their cult classics like their Lip Venom so this is not like some Hannah Montana crap gimmick only makeup line that you find at Wal-Mart. DuWop is sold in department stores, Sephora, and of course on duwop.com. Personally I'll be picking up quite a few of these like the Mortal Glow Blushing Creme and the color palettes because not only do I love all of the DuWop products I've ever used, but these products were actually used on the entire cast while filming New Moon. I have a few of their different Lip Venoms and they're some of the best lip plumpers out there. I can't wait for my Twilight Lip Venom to get here so I can try it.

I just read that it was going to be produced by the woman who created DuWop... that makes me feel a LOT better about this.

I love the DuWop brand and now I am really looking forward to this as more than just a crappy "stick a label on some 99 cent lip gloss" kind of make-up line.

To everyone asking about the quality... IMHO they're great quality. Department store and Sephora quality to be specific which is where DuWop is sold.

The only Twilight make-up I would get is lipgloss or chapstick. I wouldnt buy body lotion, body shimmer, or any make-up you put on your skin cuz I have eczema and very senstive skin. All that will just make it worse. That make up is pretty cool, though. I love the lipstick.

Love the idea of a make-up line.I think it's pretty nice that they are coming out with two lines too.Kinda gives two different shades and ideas to branch out.Hopefully it wont put a big dent in the wallet though!That would suck!

Why are they trying to define the word capitalism as Twilight saga? It's rather disappointing to see all this stuff everywhere. When I read these books it was like magic. Now it's like mocking the readers by thinking of them as crazy teenagers who would spend their money in any useless way.

I'm really big into makeup, and I'll admit, I was VERY excited to see this. One thing I look for in makeup is the packaging. For instance, Kat Von D's makeup line has gorgeous packaging. It just looks great when you pull it out of your purse and I think it enhances the product. The Luna Twilight line looks especially lovely. I am 16 years old, but I haven't gone too overboard with the Twilight merchandise. I have a couple t-shirts and the DVD and soundtrack along with a couple small objects like my bookmark. This is one of the products out there that's practical for me. I'll be checking this out and I won't just judge it on it being Twilight; it has to be a good, quality product. If it's not, I won't be buying any more. I think some of the items that have been put out are ridiculous...I saw BANDAGES the other day at a book store. I miss the days where I was the only one reading Twilight at school. Now everyone has a copy. I sometimes feel like people look down on me if I wear a Twilight shirt because many of the fans don't act mature or go overboard. While I don't love Twilight any less because of this, it bothers me that people may think I'm unintelligent or immature because I love a series with solid characters and a nice plot. So, the Twilight merchandise world is a love/hate thing for me...but this makeup looks nice, and I'm a sucker for a nice shade of lipstick or eyeshadow. So count me in.
