According to Ted Casablanca at E!, Breaking Dawn will stay true to its roots instead of being watered down for the big screen.
Breaking Dawn features scenes that are quite violent and overtly sexual, and it was feared that the script would gloss over important elements that may not be appropriate for a younger audience.
Ted cites producers that say it will be “very, very sexual, …almost too hot for Twilight’s fanbase”.

Who knows if this is true, but I have my fingers crossed!

The Wall Street Journal has an intriguing look at the impact Twilight has had on the Harry Potter franchise.
Alicia Penner, a 13-year-old from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, read the “Harry Potter” books 57 times. She watched the “Harry Potter” movies. Then last fall, a friend lent her the teen vampire book series “Twilight”—and she was hooked. The “Harry Potter” poster that used to hang on her bedroom wall has been replaced by the “Twilight” poster she got for her 13th birthday.
As a new “Harry Potter” movie opens next week, the bespectacled wizard faces a new challenge: how to compete for the attention of a young audience that has been growing up—and is starting to prefer the angsty teen romances and cooler, edgier characters of the “Twilight” books and movies.
Truth be told, I think there’s room in the world for both–I love Harry Potter but I also love Twilight. Each holds a special place in my heart for different reasons.

He is most known for his modeling work during that period with big-name clients like Levi’s and Abercrombie and Fitch, but he also posed for this newly unearthed photoshoot from a prom catalog! Tracy shares the pics and says–
I’m a part time florist, full time student, and while I was at work today, I had to do a corsage, I pulled out an old book we have with examples of different corsages and boutonnieres and I couldn’t believe who I was looking at!!
Check out all the rest of the Kellan Lutz prom catalog pics after the break!
Twilight’s memorable prom scene was shot at the View Point Inn in Oregon, but the owners are going to sell the property as they can’t keep up with the costs of restoration.
KPTV has the story, where the owners give the government of Oregon a tongue-lashing for failing to woo the crew of the Twilight sequels back to Oregon. New Moon and Eclipse are going to be filmed in Vancouver, BC.
Marc Malkin from E! is reporting that New Moon star Robert Pattinson will be on the cover of Vanity Fair soon–it will likely be in coordination with the release of New Moon.
Previously the full Twilight cast was in Vanity Fair, but this time it will be 100% pure Rob.
New Moon star Kellan Lutz shows off his nozzle skills Wednesday at a gas station while heading to a studio in Santa Monica in an Infiniti G35. This follows an annoying pap video where the photographers make fun of Kellan driving away from the OP Event on Tuesday in a white minivan.
Me? I think it’s damn sexy when a guy doesn’t feel the need to prove himself with the car he is driving. That’s why guys who get around town with bicycles are always the hottest.
