New Moon Chocolate Candy Heart's Desire Blockbuster Creme Filled Heart
New Moon Chocolate Heart Creme CandyThe newest piece of New Moon merchandise is–get this–a creme filled milk chocolate heart.  Jessica found this candy at Blockbuster.  The chocolate hearts feature three different packages with the faces of Edward Cullen, Bella Swan and Jacob Black. The candy is named “Heart’s Desire” and is made by Skybar.

Inside the package, you’ll find the same chocolate design in all three wrappers.  The shape of the chocolate is two hearts on top of a base, the top heart has “Bella” written on it and the heart below it has the Cullen family crest.

Jessica says they cost $0.79 each and are “quite tasty as well.”

It has Robert Pattinson’s face and has cream inside.  I’m sold.

Jasper Hale Whitlock Twilight Civil War Papers Replica

You’re looking at an imagined replica of Jasper Whitlock Hale’s Civil War enlistment papers. A reader over at TwiFans, Jacksons Girl, bought this unofficial souvenir at TwiTour Atlanta last week. She says that–

They had all kinds of other things too like Dr Cullen’s original medical license, the prom tickets Bella and Edward used, etc. OBVIOUSLY, they are not real, but it was super cool to look at.

I love this style of keepsake–it’s like grabbing a little prop out of the Twilight universe rather than just having a typical product decorated with a branded logo.

I’d love to see 20-30 of these “props” in one huge official collector’s package. It could be presented as a keepsake/memory box along with a weathered old scrapbook that was supposedly collected over many years by the vamps, and the items would look like they were from different periods.

Anyone else on board?

Rachelle LeFevre Victoria New Moon Canadian actress Rachelle LeFevre plays bad-vamp Victoria in New Moon, and she talks to HitFix in-depth about her experience filming New Moon while she was in Vancouver. In particular, she reveals quite a bit about the type of stunts we’ll see in the movie–

Q: So, we get to see you jump from 25 feet up in a tree down to the ground? There’s leaping off trees to the ground. There’s leaping up in the air from trees to other trees. I was about 40-feet up just hanging out looking like I was just kind of standing there. There’s a lot of that. And then my stunt double, who spent five years with Cirque du Soleil did some very cool like backflips and things like that on the wires. Yeah, being thrown around by werewolves you’d be like in one place one minute and then they pull [and] you’re like hooked up to wire and then they’ll pull the wires and then you get yanked up flying into the air and your body’s folded in half. It’s very cool.

Rachelle also reveals that there will be a slight change from Twilight–she’ll now wear shoes instead of going barefoot! Find out why after the break.

If you’re not able to get your mitts on this magazine like NMM.org reader JaspersCantante above, you can always go the paid route for a full-size poster for less than $5.

New Moon Bookmark Edward Jacob Bella Wolfpack

Here’s a brand new image of Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen in New Moon on a newly unearthed piece of merchandise: a bookmark.

What do you think–would you stick this between your pages? It’d look lovely with the upcoming movie edition of the New Moon paperback.

UPDATE: We now have pictures of all four New Moon bookmarks, including a brand new shot of  Jacob, a new arrangement of the wolfpack with a prominent image of the tribe’s tattoo in the background and a version of the New Moon poster sans Edward.

The bookmarks are scheduled for release on August 15th.

New Moon Poster Volturi Jane Rounding out the media outlets that visited the set of New Moon in Vancouver is Rotten Tomatoes. They have a set report where they go into detail on the Volturi interior shots. This description of Jane sounds amazing–(spoilers!)–

Focus fell particularly on Fanning, dressed in a soft, vintage-style white dress, a dark velvet cape, and Mary Janes. Her blonde hair swept into a bun, with pale skin and scarlet lips and dark eye makeup, she had the look of a textbook Little Red Riding Hood — albeit one with blood-red eyes and a steely eeriness about her. “She’s immune to all of us,” Michael Sheen as Aro mused, directing his warrior to turn her pain-inducing powers on Bella. “Shall we, Jane?”

With nary a peep, Fanning’s eyes lit up. She turned her head towards Bella/Kristen Stewart, and gave a slight, cruel smile. Well, the hint of a smile, really. The tension was palpable; in that miniscule movement I was sold on Fanning — at 15 years of age, one of New Moon’s seasoned veterans — and her ability to convey unadulterated malice. On film, you’ll see her bring poor Robert Pattinson to his knees, and you might even enjoy it.

Check out the rest of the report over at Rotten Tomatoes.
