You should be pi$$ed at Le Fevre - she should have been upfront about her commitments elsewhere but she kept it quiet, probably thinking if she sprung it on them last minute they'd be forced to change their schedule. What she did was sly in my book. Then releasing such a statement crying over it - not very professional is it? It looks to me that she presumed they would never replace her so she played games. Thats just shabby.

Absolutely - its a Dustin Hoffman movie, bound to be a classic. I'm a huge twilight fan but its a cult movie, and for her career she should have done Barneys Version definatley.

Howevr I reckon if she'd talked to Summit earlier things might have worked out in her favor.

I don't believe that she would've done anything to jeopardize her role as Victoria. After all Eclipse would've been her time to shine. No way would she have put that opportunity in harms way.

Also, they usually put in the contracts 1st options, 2nd options.. The Dustin Hoffman flick would've been a 2nd option and Summit could've exercised there right.. But they didn't .. So this is complete BS.. They wanted someone new in that role.. Simple as that. Whatever the motive it still stinks!

Did you not read their statement? It is quite clear that they were unwilling to ask the other actors and crew to rejig their schedules just to satisfy Le Fevre. Especially since she wasn't forthcoming in the first place. She showed herself to be less than upfront and they probably thought RISK and so said they wouldn't be rearranging anything and if she wanted to do Barneys Version she could bow out of Eclipse.

Barneys Version is a much better choice for her career, much as I love it, Twilight is a cult movie. Dustin Hoffman is one of the greatest actors of our time and so to be in a movie with him was HER priority. She could, as you said, have dropped it. Her statement says she is hurt that Summit wouldn't rethink its schedule. WHy should they? They have more imprtant people than she, to thnk about.

I just think its more logical to believe Summit because they didn't release a statement until RLF did. Also their statement is defensive and points out that it is not that they don't want RLF but that she is not available. That makes sense. In fact RLF says the same thing but says she is hurt that they won't wait for her, which would mean shifting their schedule to suit her. With permits and everything in place it would not make sense for them to do so. Do you not agree?

I just reviewed all 3 statements yet again to assure that I have my facts correct. think I would've appreciated your statement more if she actually new they were going to drop her or that she was trying to hide that she was cast for Barney Version back in June. But she didn't hide it. She was as stunned as everyone else. She even states that she wouldn't have done anything to jeorpardize her role in Twilight. She turned down other movies to continue this..

I feel sorry for Rachelle but I don't think Summit has lied in their statements...they don't want to be sued. Their legal department would have checked and rechecked that their facts were correct. The rumours might have been true that they were trying to lure Bryce to get to her Daddy but Rachelle have them a loop hope and they took it.

No movie company wants to change actors midway. They like continuity. Its ridiculous to believe Le Fevres disloyal violin playing statement. She is playing the fans because she got too big for her own boots and thought she was important enough to rearrange everyone else around her. That is just ridiculous. WHy should ROb, Kristen et al move their schedules for her, when she didn't even have the common courtesy to be open and frank about her commitments.
