I'm doing ok - lots of drama with my sis... she got punched in the face several times by her psycho flatmate so I went on a rescue mission - hubby wouldn't let me go alone because he knew I'd retaliate and go psycho on the psycho so it ended up a family trip at 1.30am. We ended up helping her move her stuff into storage and bringing her home for 4 days, it's a 1 1/2 hr drive there and back so lots of driving over those few days so that's why I haven't been on here. Hubby is knackered but I'm typical me and slept for a couple of hours in the wee hours and kept on going!

I am sorry but I think that even now Rob and all other cast have a huge fan base of 20 +, 30 +, 40 + and 50 +. It is assumed that only teen-girls are nuts about Twilight saga but it is such a big misconception! Everyone can enjoy in this story and I DEMAND that they do BD a bit hotter cuz Twilight was puppylove and the older fans NEEDS something HOTTER!

They owe it to us! We are the one with more money that can bye silly fan things! :))

I think they will definitely do it.
BUT! it depends on to whom they aim New Moon and Eclipse to.
If both movies are more puppy dog love movies, then BD will be too... but if they slowly aim for older crowds (New Moon for generic - not tween, and Eclipse for 15+ ....) then BD could definitely be R without the producing companies losing ANY money! They would probably make more, because Grown Women (and some men) would flock to the theaters knowing the movie was made for an adult ( ;) ) fan base!

And 60's and possibly older (snow on the mountain,fire in the furnace) lol. Yep, this series has All women in it's clutches. You never stop dreaming. I have read this series 5 times now. Much more entertaining than tv. They never get old ,especially now that we have a visual of Edward (drool) and Bella and the others. It's like a movie in your head and I love the re-runs. I can hardly wait for New Moon ,but now Breaking Dawn will be even harder to wait for. You are right Lolla, we buy this stuff and pay for the movies, we deserve our HOTTER version. I'm reading the books for the 2nd time now - at a much slower pace. (In the middle of Eclipse)

I love Eclipse...well I love them all for different reasons..but Eclipse is great for many reasons...including the banter between Edward and Jacob..

Oh yeah, I've seen this one before. Oh god, if I said I was send out the WA vid last night also I would never gotten to sleep. I had to send so people the fan fic yesterday. Just remember to give it time. The first 6 chapters are difficult to get through because the characters are so different, but after that the writing gets much better and the plot moves along. Stay with it - you will be glad you did!

This is just my opinion, but I found the no sex scene in Breaking Dawn a disappointment. There was so much sexual tension in the other 3 books and then nothing. Ok there are young readers, but there also people Stephenie Meyers age and older that love the saga. Passion can’t be left out, and they were married - but it didn’t have to be too raunchy either! I say yes to a movie that’s not toned down too much. This book is the climax after all.

The sex and violence show the true emotion of the story. And If you don't agree with it, then maybe you shouldn't watch the movie, just stick to the book.

Steph didn't write the fight scene in Twi, they made it up for the movie. And I want them to make something up for when Bells and Eddie finished their 'midnight swim'.

I completely agree. I like the way Stephenie wrote the book in not being sexually explicit and smutty. It was intimate and sensual, but not gross. I think it would ruin the movie some for me if it was so overboard. I know ppl may think that "watering it down" would the worse thing directors/producers could do, but making the movie raunchy & explicit is just as bad. I think Stephenie has a firm say on things in the movie, so hopefully they'll listen to her on what's enough and too much.

I hope they stay true to the book %100. The book doesn't even go into detail about the sex scenes, it just does before and after. And they obviously have to have to birth scene in and when she is turned. If not, I will feel completely let down and Summit will definitely let down the fan base. Like changing up how Bella found out Edward was a vampire... I think they should have kept it the way it was in the book, because it get referred to later on in the series, among plenty of other things, DON'T SCREW UP AGAIN! :)

Movie doesn't have to be 2 hours. It is a common misconception.
A lot of the best movies made have been 3 hours. And I think BD will have to fall into a 3 hour movie.
Anything less than that will leave too much out.

I just think that, Summit will want bums on seats, and no matter what way you look at it, there are not enough fans to warrant the risk of a 3 hour movie! Especially not when the script writer is best known for writing a soap opera... I doubt they'll risk it... it is extremely challenging to make a movie that entrances people so much they are willing to put up with 3 hours in a movie theatre seat - WE WOULD but there aren't enough of us!!!

It is out of our hands unfortunatley and even the version you would love someone else would hate! Its like the 'spider monkey' line, I loved that - others seethe about it!

I wasn't a big BD fan, I was so upset after I read it and felt robbed and cheated. I thought it was like a brainstorm instead of a story - like a group of writers working out a series not one writer writing the final entry into what had been an amazing journey with characters we loved. Edward became a side kick to a Bella who got everything and didn't even have to break a nail to get it. Charlie (one of my fav characters) went from a hard ass protective father to homer simpson and it all felt too convenient and lazy.

Anyway I've ranted enough about that, I would love to see the film include a battle... and maybe to change it so Bella does not get it all... I want to have my guts ripped out please!!

I'm sorry, Twilight Fans (myself included) but Breaking Dawn is nothing but a BIG tease in the Rated R department.

It is not steamy, sexual or raunchy in any way.

The only graphic content is the goriness present during Bella's pregnancy and birth.

If producers really want the fourth installment to be sexy and sultry onscreen, then Melissa Rosenberg will have to do some major changing on the script. Perhaps catch up on some fanfic reading?

I completely agree. Breaking Dawn really was a big tease more than raunchy. It was intimate and somewhat steamy but not explicitly sexual. It alludes tot things, but there weren't any full on scenes in the book. I think some are getting BD & ff mixed up a little.

We can't forget that there is sooo much more happening in the book than the honeymoon. (I said above) I can't wait to the extremely high tension scene with the Volturi in the end. Bella as a vampire using her shield. Plus all the nomads that come in. And showing Renesmee growing so fast.

I'm not sure if SM has the last word on everything, but if she does, I doubt there will be any moaning, or grinding or shots in which Bella and Ed look as if they are nude. I remember watching Twilight with the commentary on, and the director said that SM didn't allow the scene in which Bella is in her underwear on her bed.

Through the whole series Bella is always trying to go further with Edward than he will allow. They want each other in that way...so it's an important part of the story/movie.
Everything that we want is in this book. We all want it to see it come to life....at the very least...as it is in the book. I'm not gonna lie and say it wouldn't be hot as h*ll to see some steamy lovin' going on but the way it was in the book...their sex life is private...Bella doesn't even want Emmet making references to it any more (arm wrestling scene).

Well yes, I don't expect them to go all out with it. It's not something that the Twilight series has to it. Which is something I like about it too. It's not just sex, it's complete love and devotion, sex is just a way of them expressing that. But for the movie, we def should be on the EDGE of things!! :)

If they aim New Moon towards the general crowd, instead of the tween crowd Twilight is aimed towards, then they can make Eclipse more for the adult crowd.. as 14A or something.. then BD could be R.....

i love breaking dawn. people might dislike for reasons that it ends and bella stays with edward and not jacob and many other reasons but i love breaking dawn. i love the book. i don't care for tiny details but this one does need to be perfect. from the wedding to the cars. i know there is no such thing as a merecedes benz guardian. googled it and got a vechicle like the pope mobile or the cars heads of state are driven in. there needs to be the red ferrari, the aston martin vanquish and all the cars. they might be expensive cars but still. if they need a tropical island there are plenty of them in the caribbean. they need to make sure its perfect they.

I can't go see it if its rated R! I'm not 17 yet. and I don't think I will be 17 when it comes out. Please understand, i'm not trying to be mean or trying to piss people off but I really hope it won't be R! A lot of the fans are UNDER 17 and probably won't be able to see it! As much as most of the Twilight Saga fanbase is 18+, there is a vast amount that are under that age and they will still want them to be able to see it. So, most likely in Australia it will be rated M 15+ or MA 15+, not R16. The books weren't even that raunchy for god's sakes. And as much as I want to see something steamy, the faded black screen is all we will probably see.

He could be right, because as I said before "The Notebook" was rated PG 13. And it was passsionate and sexy....it was wonderful. It had an amazing sex scene which was very tastefully done....it was really beautiful.
It doesn't necessarily mean it will be rated R.
So he may be right.
And even though Ted is well... what he is hahaha....he occasionally investigates things, like calling menagers or representatives...so I really, really hope he is right :D

People have you ever seen The Notebook? Well it has some pretty hot scenes in it and it is rated PG-13. So.. I don't see why they won't be able to make BD Hot without make it a R rated movie. Yeah there is the birth scene but I don't think we need to see it as described in the book. This is one scene I would rather like them to soften a bit... :)

if they want it to be steamy they will have to not stick close to the book,otherwise it will be lots of fade to black, we'd see a few kisses here and there and that's it, and if they want to keep it adult,edgy and interesting, apart from the naughty time, they'll include erm some action like a fight at the end, long-winded conversation between bloodthirsty vampires just won't work in the movie, unless Summit's goal is to bore the audience to tears. As for the pregnancy and the Alien-like birth, I hope they'll tone it down, I'm all for all things creepy and yucky but it was just so wrong, the birth I mean. I srsly don't want to see Robsten in this kind of scene if it's anything like in the book.

Man, as much as i want it to be R-rated, think they will not do that unfortunately. There is a massive part of fans who happen to be very young so they will not do that if they are aiming at getting big at box-office, which obviously they are.

Yes! I was so hoping they would decide it this way! I mean, let's face it: PG13? Way off if they wanna stay true to Breaking Dawn. And, as the best book out of the series, they need to make it as awesome as possible. So I HAVE to see the wedding, Isle Esme (complete with skinny dipping and feathers), the whole transformation, Bella nearly killing Jacob, and the confrontation with the Volturi. Can't wait!!! :)

yes, this is some of the best news i've heard in a while. And I've been saying this since I read the book. If they strip it down too much they may as well NOT make the movie. So i'm extremely glad to hear this. On with the smutfest is all I have to say. Now if only there would be a WA movie my life would be complete!!! ; )

Breaking Dawn should come out in two years... I'll be 17 by then... I CAN GO SEE IT IF IT'S RATED R!!!!!! So glad they are keeping it like the book. Bring it on! Plus, kids shouldn't even be reading these books, they are TEEN FICTION, so Summit doesn't have to tone it down, it's made for teens! And if one of those younger kids wants to go see it, then get someone 17 or older or bring a parent if you wanna see it so bad. I would personally not bring my mom though, since SOME parents wouldn't even let there child see a rated R movie, which would be rated R for SUPER strong sexuality, SUPER big violence, and a lot of other stuff. Anyways, can't wait!!!

Though SM didn't write sex scenes, she strongly suggests that sex is occuring, so I expect the movie to show *something*. And it should. Actually, with the tone of the rest of the book, I'm surprised SM didn't write more sensuality. I know she's religious and what not, but Bella and Edward were married when they finally consumated the relationship, so what's wrong with a lil lovin? In the book or not, there's nothing wrong with some steamy kisses and strong foreplay in the movie. Oh and some naked RobP would be nice :p

The thing that always bothered me with the PG13, is that everyone has read the books-so why are they so afraid to stick to the books & add in the elements that made them all so special in the first place?

In BD-they have to have Isle Esme, and they need to keep it close to the book-there needs to be that sexual nervousness, that first time fear for both...

There needs to be that sexual tension in the air....and then they need to stay close to how SM wrote it. She didn't need to describe in detail what they did...we all imagined what they did and it was amazing...

They're not going to have Rob & Kristen naked-but they do need to keep it as close to "real" as possible.
